Julius drove Aileen home

Aileen got out of the car

"Aileen" Julius called her name and she turned

"I hope whatever happened doesn't change our plans tomorrow" he asked with a worried face

"No! We are going out tomorrow" she said and his face bloomed with excitement she looked at him and smile

"How can I stay away from him" Aileen thought

Julius left and she went inside

"I see you and Julius sought out your issues"sel said

"There was no issues before"

"What do you mean by before?"

"Sis Nina asked me to stay away from Julius" Aileen told sel whatever happened there

"I understand Nina, she's back and she wants her boyfriends attention"

"But Julius was my friend before becoming her boyfriend"

"Aileen try to understand her, she misses her boyfriend and for years she has been away from him and now that she has returned her boyfriend is still spending time with someone else she's right to get jealous and want you out. Years she has been away and so did her fears of someone stealing him away and it feels her fear is coming true when he still opts to spend time with you rather than her"

"Sel, she gets to be with him all the time since she lives with him, I only get some minutes with him while she has all the rest of the time with him so maybe I don't understand"

"No sel I am not going to stay away from Julius he's my friend. And if anyone is to behave that way it shouldn't be Nina. We were friends and she's still is and she should know better that I can't do something like that to her. I can't do that to her even if I want to because she's my friend…. I can't steal Julius away even if that's what my heart desires, even if I love him I can't tell him and I will have to keep it hidden because I value our friendship. I know falling in love with him is bad because I knew he already had a girlfriend but what can I do? The heart want what it wants and all I can do is to hide it. About the years gone, how is that my fault? she left but they still talked and he never cheated on her, she still has him. I can't stay away from Julius no I can't he means a lot to me"

"Aileen do you realize what you are saying?" Sel asked

"Call it selfishness but I am not staying away from Julius" Aileen said and left

"No Aileen, now I am sure you have fallen in love with Julius, oh my dear sis you're in a very difficult situation." Sel said to herself

Sel followed her to her room

"Sel please don't say anything more"

"I am not going to. I just want to ask you a question"

"What?"

"Who's Julius to you"

"My best friend"

"Is that all he's to you"

"He's someone I can't lose" Aileen said in her mind

"Yes he's my best friend" she said and sel shook her head and left

"When are you going to realize this? I hope it's not too late then but maybe this is for the best Julius already has a girlfriend and it hurts more when you love a person who loves another and you have already suffered enough with love" sel thought

The next day Julius called her

"So where should we go first?" He asked

"Let's go to the park" Aileen said with excitement

"I will pick you up very soon" he said and hung up

He got ready to leave

"Wait Julius can you drop me on your way" Nina said

"Where??"

"I am going to meet some friends"

"I am going to pick Aileen up"

"I don't mind, that's even better I would like to apologize to her for what happened yesterday" Nina said

Julius arrived at Aileen's place and she was happily for the trip but all of it changed when she saw Nina

"Hello Aileen I would like to apologize for whatever happened yesterday" she said

"Come on let's go, I will drop her off along the way" Julius said

On their way

"Where should I drop you off" Julius asked

"I changed my mind, I want to go with you guys it'll be nice" Nina said

"What!!!" Julius said

"Yes I was stupid yesterday and thought it through. You two are my friends and since my return we haven't went out together as friends, we haven't enjoyed any moments together as we used to in the past I want my friends back" Nina said

"We can go another time, today we planned for it to be just us two" Julius stopped and said

"So you guys are going to leave me out? You two are going as friends right? And I was once your friend we were the three musketeers and it shouldn't be a problem for me to chip in on my friends fun unless you guys wants me out and no longer want me as your friend. Aileen?!!! You called me your friend yesterday and told me nothing is going on between you two so how do you guys explain this?" Nina said

"Nina stop" Julius said

"It's ok let her come along after all she's your girlfriend" Aileen said

"No Aileen today is meant for us two, I missed you and wanted to be alone with you, do the things we used to do So that my feelings of losing you and you going away from me subsides" he thought

He shook his head and got out of the car to breathe, Aileen got out and held his hand

"It's ok"

"No it's not Aileen today is for us"

"But Julius she's your girlfriend and our friend so it's fine besides who said we can't have fun because she's here let's show her what she missed when she left us" she said with smile on her face but not sure about her feelings

he nodded to her and got inside the car
