The Scar you gave me

Julius tried to turn around but she stopped him and he was happy

"Let me cry it all out" she said

"You can but let's leave the rain, you can't fall sick"

She listened and they went back to the hospital, he took her to her office and got her a towel

"Even you are wet" she said and handed him a towel and he smiled

"Here wear this, today was supposed to be a happy day" he said as he handed her the cloth he bought her

The place became quiet

"I knew he was alive when we went for sel's wedding I am sorry for not telling you" Julius said

"Why?" She asked

"I have so many reasons but maybe I should accept I was wrong despite my reasons you have that right to know and I didn't tell you I am sorry. I hope this doesn't cause trouble between us?" He said and Aileen was quiet just then sel came

"I called her, you guys talk I will be leaving" Julius said

Upon reaching the gate he turned and looked at Aileen again and opened the door and tear dropped from his eyes he wiped it

He was holding it back

"Everything is ruined, he's back and I can't compete with him" he said on the phone

"I'm sorry you had to find out like this" sel said

"You knew??"

"Yes Julius told me but listen Julius didn't tell you because he cares about you"

"Sel let's not talk about it, I know he cares for me. He kept on apologizing to me when we came back, he was never ok I remember him constantly asking me about something like this and I now understand I am not angry at him. I don't know why but I am glad he's alive at least I don't feel restricted nor burdened. I can move on now sel all these years have taught me how to heal. I need closure so I am going to talk to him"

"Are you sure Aileen that there's no feelings left?"

"I don't know sel, I don't know he's my first love"

"And first loves are the hardest to let go, I hope you make the right decisions" sel thought

For a week Julius had been avoiding Aileen

And she missed him

Rìan's company was in charge of the project so he saw Aileen a lot and constantly approached her but she avoided him

"We can't keep doing this Aileen and you know that" Rìan said

"You're right let's meet this weekend and Let's talk" Aileen said to him and Julius heard

He was about leaving when Aileen saw him

"Julius!!" She said and he couldn't move

She got close and Rìan also felt hurt he turned around and also saw Mika leaving and he followed her

"Mika wait" he said

"Uhm the workers were looking for you" she said

"You heard about us meeting this weekend right??"

"Rìan even if I did what difference is it going to make, if I tell you don't go will you listen?" Mika asked

"Will you listen and not go and meet him, Aileen I am scared what if after this meeting I see an outcome I can't take" Julius thought

Rìan was silent

"Exactly so please let's not talk about it after all I am just your friend"

"And maybe a friend is all I will ever be" Julius thought

Mika left that place hurt

Julius just stared at Aileen organizing his thoughts and all that he could say was

"How are you?"

"I am ok, it's been a while" she said

"I can't breathe someone save me" Julius thought just then a call came

"I have to leave" he said to Aileen and handed her her breakfast and left

"Thank you so much love" he told the other person on the phone

Aileen just watched him leave and she frowned a little because she heard him say love

Aileen and Rìan met during the weekend and they talked about what happened in the past,

Two people were anxious about them meeting

None of them said what happened but how they saw them broken others heart

Aileen and Rìan were now talking as if nothing happened, Rìan went to her house and apologized to her family although not easily forgiven he was happy he could apologize he felt a huge burden off his shoulders

He came to take Aileen out and Julius saw them

Sel saw Julius

"I am sorry Julius" sel said

"Why?? They were best of friends and then lovers before I came so don't worry about me I am happy she got her love and friendship back" he said and left

"Don't forget your present now that your past has returned" sel told Aileen when she came back
