The Sacred Leaves Family's Wishes for Peace

Chapter 400 : The Emperor Blade Acquired

Yin Xianhong was at the seventh level of the Saint King Realm. Her two opponents were at the sixth and seventh levels respectively.

If she faced either one of them alone, she could handle it with ease. But with the two working together, Yin Xianhong found herself completely outmatched—forced to fight while fleeing, constantly searching for a chance to escape.

Unfortunately, the two of them seemed dead-set on capturing her, leaving her no window for retreat.

If things continued this way, Yin Xianhong would eventually be worn down, captured alive at her weakest.

Thankfully, she had just received a message from Fang Ting and Shen Hongyi, allowing her to relax slightly inside.

On the outside, however, she still had to maintain the image of someone barely holding on.

"Fairy, there's no need to struggle anymore. We only want to befriend you. Why not stop and talk?"

"You can see we haven't gone all out against you."

The two attackers continued their verbal assault while fighting, attempting to erode her will and shatter her composure.

And so another quarter-hour passed.

The two black-robed Saint Kings grew impatient.

"Our patience has limits. Keep resisting, and don't blame us for getting rough!"

"Enough talk—time to kill!"

Just as their words fell, a massive surge of energy erupted behind them.

A gigantic sun appeared in the sky, blazing so close it felt like it was just above their heads. The scorching heat made them feel as though they had been thrown into molten lava.

"Crack..."

Before they could react, the blazing sun shattered like a mirror, revealing an even more radiant and terrifying force above it—

A blade of light.

"Sun-Cleaving Slash!!"

The moment it appeared, the temperature of the entire region skyrocketed. The air burned, the earth scorched.

At the same time, from another angle, a golden seal came crashing down.

All of this happened in an instant.

The three combatants didn't even have time to respond.

The Saint King sixth-level black-robed man was instantly annihilated by the blade—his flesh, soul, and even bones reduced to ash by the extreme heat.

The seventh-level Saint King was crushed to death beneath the golden seal.

With the two enemies gone, Fang Ting and Shen Hongyi appeared before Yin Xianhong.

"Whew…"

Yin Xianhong, who had been at her limit, finally relaxed both physically and mentally. Her body staggered, but Fang Ting quickly stepped up to support her, keeping her from collapsing.

Shen Hongyi watched all of this without a trace of envy. He was simply shocked.

He hadn't expected Fang Ting to have grown so strong—not only cultivating rapidly but also capable of unleashing such terrifying power.

Even if it was a sneak attack, instantly killing someone stronger than yourself was no small feat.

It took him a while to recover from the surprise.

Shen Hongyi finally sighed.

"What a pity. Of those five black-robed guys, only two are dead. The others got away."

"Not quite," Fang Ting corrected. "Only one escaped. The two who were chasing me also died."

"What?" Shen Hongyi's eyes widened, stunned.

Killing across one level was already impressive—but killing two, including a seventh-level Saint King? That was beyond excessive.

Fang Ting saw his reaction and explained:

"I didn't kill them. They died in a trap. I also discovered something important there—we need to retrieve a treasure as soon as possible."

He didn't share the details with Shen Hongyi—unlike Yin Xianhong, some secrets were better kept hidden.

"I see… well, that's still a relief," Shen Hongyi murmured.

Even just Fang Ting catching up to him was something he needed time to mentally adjust to. If he learned Fang Ting had already surpassed him, it would definitely leave him feeling conflicted for a while.

After a short rest, the trio rushed toward the mountain that held the Emperor Weapon, Emperor Technique, and the secret key to the small world.

Despite the vastness of the realm, once they focused on a specific target, it didn't take long.

After half a month, they found it.

Wan Shan Di had chosen this particular mountain carefully to ensure his treasures were never discovered by chance.

The mountain itself had been imbued with incredibly powerful laws. Even if dozens of Saint Kings joined forces, they couldn't even scratch it.

Worse, if the mountain happened to hit someone while flying, it could cripple or kill them instantly.

Normally, any Saint King entering this world would avoid this mountain at all costs.

But Wan Shan Di could never have imagined someone like Fang Ting, with the Flawless Sacred Body, would not only be immune to the poison but also see through the deception, kill his divine soul, and obtain the method to break the seal.

Standing before the bare, vegetation-less mountain, Fang Ting said:

"Wait here a moment."

With that, he flew directly toward the mountain, as if he intended to slam into it headfirst.

But just as he reached the surface, he waved his hand, slicing a deep, wide chasm into the mountain with ease.

He flew through the opening and, after a short search, located the sealed core.

Using the method he'd extracted from Wan Shan Di's soul, he disabled the restrictions.

Inside were only three items, but each one was of immeasurable value.

Even the least precious among them—a complete Emperor Technique—was enough to guide a cultivator all the way to the Emperor Realm.

Next was the secret key to the small world—control over everything in it.

And finally, the Emperor Weapon.

A jet-black greatsaber, far different from Fang Ting's current single-handed weapon, the Crimson Phosphor Blade.

This was a two-handed saber, broad and brutal like a horse-cutting blade. Along its spine were carved images of ferocious beasts, etched with exquisite craftsmanship.

Its name was Wèn Tiān (Heaven-Asking Blade). Wan Shan Di had begun gathering materials for it the moment he became an Emperor and spent over a hundred years forging it.

Every cultivator slain by this blade had been at least Quasi-Emperor level. Saint Kings weren't even worthy of seeing it unsheathed.

"Wumm!!"

The moment the restriction was lifted, the Wèn Tiān Blade tried to fly away.

But Fang Ting reacted swiftly, locking it down with a special seal.

As an Emperor Weapon, it had already developed a certain degree of spiritual awareness. It refused to acknowledge Fang Ting—a mere Saint King—and tried to escape.

"Seems I won't be able to use it anytime soon."

Fang Ting stored it away.

This blade, if released into the Heaven Origin World, would be enough to drive even the top twenty hegemonic forces into a frenzy.

It could even spark wars between Emperor-level powers, possibly altering the fate of entire continents.
