The Rizz God System

Chapter 4: Chapter 4: A Toast to the New Me

Elliot sat at his desk, staring at his phone. The glow of the Rizz God System interface flickered faintly, displaying the latest challenge.

"New Mission Assigned: Win a Drink Invitation from a Woman."

Reward: +30 Confidence Points and Advanced Charisma Boost.

Failure Consequence: Complete Social Rejection.

"This one's simple enough," the system's voice chimed, smooth and confident. "Get her to ask you for a drink. It's all about creating intrigue, my dear Elliot."

"Simple?" Elliot muttered under his breath, glancing around the office. "Nothing about this is simple."

"Oh, stop whining. Look at you—already the talk of the office after yesterday's little display. Don't you think it's time to capitalize on that momentum?"

He sighed and leaned back in his chair, pretending to review a document. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Bianca. She was at her desk, typing furiously, her sleek black blazer hugging her frame. Her usual air of untouchable confidence was intimidating, but for the first time, Elliot didn't feel invisible.

"She's perfect for this mission," the system purred. "She's intrigued by you, even if she won't admit it. Use that curiosity to your advantage."

Elliot hesitated. Bianca had always been out of his league, and the thought of trying to charm her into an invitation made his stomach churn. But the memory of her smirk after the meeting lingered in his mind. Maybe he could do this.

Elliot took a deep breath and stood, adjusting his tie. He strode toward Bianca's desk with as much confidence as he could muster, the system's voice coaching him every step of the way.

"Start with something light. Compliment her work ethic—she likes being seen as competent. Then add a touch of humor. Timing is key."

"Hey, Bianca," Elliot said, leaning casually against the edge of her desk. She glanced up, her eyebrows raised in mild surprise.

"What's up, Graves?" she asked, her tone neutral but not dismissive.

"I just wanted to say," he began, "that presentation idea you mentioned last week? It was pretty sharp. You've got a knack for cutting through the noise."

Her eyes widened slightly, but she quickly masked her reaction. "Thanks," she said, her voice cool. "Didn't think you were paying attention."

Elliot smirked. "I guess I surprise people sometimes."

"Perfect," the system murmured. "Now, make her laugh. Humor disarms even the toughest critics."

"You know," Elliot continued, lowering his voice conspiratorially, "it's a shame we're stuck in this office. I bet you'd be dangerous in the wild."

Bianca blinked, then laughed—a genuine, melodic sound. "Dangerous? What's that supposed to mean?"

"I mean, you're already terrifying here. Imagine the damage you'd do if we let you loose."

She shook her head, her smile lingering. "You're ridiculous, Graves."

"She's warming up. Now, plant the seed."

"Well, maybe you can teach me your ways sometime," Elliot said, holding her gaze. "Over a drink, perhaps?"

Bianca tilted her head, her expression thoughtful. For a moment, Elliot worried he'd overplayed his hand. But then she leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms, her smirk returning.

"Are you asking me for a drink, Graves?"

Elliot felt his pulse quicken. "Not exactly," he replied, channeling every ounce of the confidence the system had instilled in him. "I'm just saying, if you ever wanted to grab a drink... I wouldn't say no."

Bianca studied him for a moment, and then, to his shock, she nodded. "Alright. Let's see if you can keep up, Graves. How about tomorrow after work?"

Mission Complete: Win a Drink Invitation from a Woman.

Reward Unlocked: +30 Confidence Points. New Skill: Advanced Charisma Boost.

Current Level: 2 (Progress: 40/200).

Elliot barely managed to keep his composure as the notification flashed in his mind. The rush of energy was immediate and intoxicating. His posture straightened, and he felt a warmth spreading through him—an unshakable sense of ease and magnetism.

"Well done, Elliot," the system said, its voice brimming with pride. "You're learning faster than I expected. But this is just the beginning."

Elliot returned to his desk, his mind racing. He couldn't believe what had just happened. Bianca Harper—Bianca Harper—had agreed to have a drink with him. The same woman who had barely acknowledged his existence a week ago.

He glanced at his phone, half-expecting the system to issue another challenge, but the screen was blank. For the first time since it had appeared, the system was quiet.

"Guess I earned a break," he muttered, a small smile playing on his lips.

But the peace didn't last long.

"Graves," a familiar voice drawled.

Elliot turned to see Aaron Blake standing near his desk, his arms crossed and a smug grin on his face. "Saw you talking to Bianca. You finally grow a pair, or did she just feel sorry for you?"

Elliot's newfound confidence flared. "Jealous, Blake?"

Aaron's grin faltered for a split second before he recovered. "Of you? Not likely. But hey, good luck. Bianca doesn't exactly go for charity cases."

Elliot smirked. "We'll see about that."

As Aaron walked away, Elliot couldn't help but feel a spark of satisfaction. For the first time in years, he wasn't the one backing down.

That evening, as Elliot prepared to leave the office, the system's voice returned, sharper and more serious than before.

"You handled that well, Elliot. But be careful."

"Careful of what?" he asked, frowning.

"Aaron. He's not just a jealous coworker. He's going to be a problem."

"What do you mean?"

"Let's just say you're not the only one with a knack for manipulation. Keep your guard up."

Elliot didn't like the sound of that, but before he could press for more information, the system went silent.
