"It is Patriarch Yuan's order." The maid stated. "Please tell us what we should do."

"Then, go and bring me some water for me to wash up." Bai Xifeng stated. She turned to another maid. "And you, can you go and ask if the kitchen has some food?"

The maids nodded and went to do their job. Bai Xifeng was planning to continue her journey after noon. After lunch, to be more precise. Baishe was already nagging Bai Xifeng about that. She told Baishe that she would go after checking Yuan Jian's wife and children.

The maid came back with the warm water. Bai Xifeng washed her face and brushed her teeth. Then, she changed into other clothes. Another maid came back with some food. Bai Xifeng smiled as she faced the food. She ate the food happily. The maids were waiting not far from her.

After eating, Bai Xifeng told the maids that she wanted to go and see Yuan Jian's maid. One of the maids turned to look at another maid. It probably wanted another maid to answer it.

"Yes, Young Lady." The maid nodded.

So, the maid led Bai Xifeng to Yuan Jian's wife's courtyard. The maid explained to the maid who worked in that courtyard. She gestured to the maid to wait so that she could go in to inform the lady.

The maid came out and invited Bai Xifeng to enter the room. She could see that two wet nurses were attending to the two children.

"Young Lady Bai." Yuan Jian's wife smiled as she saw Bai Xifeng.

"Lady..." Bai Xifeng finally realised that she did not know Yuan Jian's wife's name.

Yuan Jian's wife chuckled. "I am Qin Suyin."

"Oh... Lady Qin." Bai Xifeng greeted her. "How do you feel?"

"Hmm... It is still hurt, but I can endure it. All for the sake of my children." Qin Suyin glanced softly at her twin babies.
