THE REJECTED LUNA

Chapter 7: CHAPTER SEVEN

Tears rolled down my cheek as I looked to confirm if he was shot. I heaved a sigh of relief when I noticed that the gun was not aimed at his head. To be Frank, my heart had stopped for a moment, as I thought he actually pulled the trigger on my father.

Loosing my father would be the worst thing that would ever happen to me. The man quickly told me that he was going to kill my father, but he was instructed to make him suffer for a while. I immediately begged him, but all my pleas only fell on deaf ears.

For a moment, I wondered why they would not kill me or even try to hurt me. As thoughts kept going through my mind, he took his dagger and chopped off his ear. Blood flowed ceaselessly, and they all laughed, enjoying the act.

He also made a slow and deep cut through his arm. I could not behold the scene because it was too painful to behold such torture. But they made me look at very bit of it, probably this would , probably hare of the pain.

As I watched hoping that they would stop inflicting him with so much pain, he stabbed him violently on his stomach. He immediately took the dagger again and slowly cut through his throat and watched bleed till he was completely lifeless.

Words can not explain the amount of pain I felt. I cried and screamed, shaking violently on the chair. The killer looked at me with a smile on his face, obviously happy to see me in such a condition.

I cried, begging for life to come back to him, but it was all a failed attempt. His body laid lifeless on the floor right there, and all I could wish for was for him to come back to life.

I sat there tied for a whole day, and I just watched them take his butchered body to dump in a pit. It all seemed like my world crumbled upon me.

I did not accept food or water for a day because I was in a deep trauma. "We'll be going to Vegas" the murderer said, giving me a quick smile. "To do what?" looking with a stir of disgust. Once again, he ignored my question.

Once it was noon, they masked my face and carried me to the van. We drove North wards for a while, then turned West. After some driving a few miles, they made a stop. They opened the mask and carried me out of the van.

In front of me stood this huge mansion very fine and attractive. They dragged me inside, and their boss asked them to leave me at this point. "Welcome to my humble abode" dragging me by the hand.

I tried to make a run, but he had a firm grip on my hand, and I could not escape at all. He took me to his bedroom and locked the both of us in. He took a seat on a sofa and crossed his legs. "My name is Raymond, but you can call me Ray" lighting up his cigarette.

I made a wide guess and presumed I had his audience now. "Why am I here" I inquired quietly, sitting on the floor. "Well I must say you're very beautiful" he complimented, walking towards me.

I tried to move back, but my back was already against the wall. "Well I like you" he blabbed, squatting in front of me. "I don't understand" I chuckled softly. He slapped me and grabbed me on the neck. He quickly made it clear to me never to mock him again.

He added that he wants me to fall in love with him as well. He stated that he saved my life, and that put his in risk because he was paid to assassinate I and my father.

I was not going to forgive him anyway. He murdered my father, and saving my life was not going to be enough reason for me to forgive him. On the other hand, Raymond was not begging me to forgive him at all.

He touched my hair softly while he touched my boobs so calmly. I tried to push him off me, but he seemed like he was not backing off. He tried to kiss me, but I quickly moved my lips away as I tried to struggle from the grip.

I quickly reached for a table knife and stabbed his stomach. He rushed and quickly tried to attend to the injury. I was happy that I could try and defend myself.

Raymond returned a few hours later after putting a bandage to the stab wound. He warned me never to try such thing again, pointing a gun on my head. I knew he was not going to use the gun at all, so I was not scared of his empty threat at all.

I heard a glass break downstairs, Raymond quickly grabbed his gun and loaded it properly as he paced towards the door to find out what actually happened. As he looked through the gallery, he quickly moved back after the gun was fired in his direction.

It was a gun fight, but I did not know the other party involved and their reasons for attacking him. He fired back at the opponent cautiously positioning himself away from the threat of a gunshot.
