Chapter 188: Where Did You Go Wrong? (2)
Wait... before I was alive?
Holy shit!
David suddenly looked down and saw "another himself" had already closed his eyes and was falling toward the palace above, only to be caught mid-air and roughly bound by a group of Chromatic Dragons. One of them said without looking back, "You may report to Duke Avernus that we've captured the culprit who 'damaged' the Styx River dam." But they ignored the dragon soul flying towards the Dragon God's resting place.
"...Shit! I'm still caught in the net! Tiamat set me up!" David was momentarily speechless.
But at the same time, he couldn't help but recall a bard's joke from Elariya:
There was once a mortal whose faith wasn't strong enough who asked a Devil disguised as a Priest, "How can I meet the god I believe in the quickest way possible?"
The Devil pulled out a dagger, stabbed it into the chest of the unfaithful one, and said with a 'merciful' smile, "Of course, you have to die first!"
"Ah, I'm dead!" David mumbled ruefully to himself.
"Yes, you're already 'dead,' yet you've avoided Hell's harshest, most brutal punishment. Are you still dissatisfied with this, David Uthos?" The voice was like a sigh from the edge of the sky, yet also a whisper close to his ear, like five completely different female voices overlapping, surprisingly harmonious and unified.
David suddenly sat up with a start, one hand on the floor, one on his forehead, as if he'd just awakened from an epic dream.
Wait...
"My... hands!?" David suddenly realized he was sitting stark naked in a vast hall, on a cold floor of five mysterious hues.
Remembering the previous voice, he abruptly looked up. Upon the high platform before him, which resembled a Royal Court, sat five Queens, each with a distinctive appearance. The red one in the center sat with a bold and carefree posture, her eyes glinting with intense, dangerous fire, her lips slightly curled.
Lust
Greed
"Crap!" Before David had time to properly look at the other Queens, he blinked instinctively, and his 'body' returned to the form of a Red Dragon.
The Royal Court before him also transformed into a small, mountain-like platform where a gigantic Chromatic Dragon lay, its huge, colorful wings enveloping itself, all five dragon heads watching him unblinkingly.
The red dragon head was in the center, still occupying the highest position. It exuded authority and, simultaneously, a fiery allure. The blue and green heads were on either side; the blue eyes were deep, while the green flickered with malice and cunning. The black dragon head, grim and skull-like, was full of mystery, yet every move revealed grace. The white dragon head exuded a pure and cold beauty, breathing frosty mist with every breath.
Yet, as his desire emerged, the powerful and magnificent dragon body he saw became five equally scantily-clad Queens with only Dragon Scales covering their key parts, their bodies full of temptation.
"I must say, the desires of you Heteromorphic Dragons are always so bold and direct, looking at your god with such direct and naked eyes. Do you intend to serve as my consort as you grow older? This is not work for a young dragon like you," she said.
"However, since you're so curious, I will satisfy you."
Her voice was like a sigh.
...
The next moment, David found himself transformed into a 'young Red Dragon,' stepping into the multicolored palace amidst seductive murmurs. A cold tail first wrapped around his ankle, pulling him into a soft, fragrant pit of corruption.
Then came the intimacy; he wildly embraced red, blue, green, black, and white female dragons of various styles.
Sometimes they were dragons, other times humans.
It was as stimulating as being a suitor to quintuplets.
It was as if no matter what he needed, this beautiful dream could fulfill all his sinful desires.
There were moments when David felt like he'd had this intoxicating dream before.
Only, unlike that 'dream,' he was the enjoyer back then, endlessly indulging in Lust, Greed, Arrogance, and Sloth.
But now, he was the servant, like a male ant obligated to serve the queen ant to exhaustion, or like a man milked endlessly for his essence.
Sometimes, to satisfy the other's endless desires, he also had to be treated as an abused and tormented object and tool.
But whether a worker ant or a juice extractor, there comes a day of flowering and fruition.
Thus, Dragon Eggs containing his essence were reproduced in vast numbers, piled up like mountains. Countless dragons reincarnated in the Divine Realm hatched, becoming part of Tiamat's true children.
At that moment, the trembling David finally understood.
This was one of the divine duties of the Chromatic Dragon Queen.
Reproduction.
And in the moment he fully understood it, he also completed his mission as a 'Father Servant.'
Drained completely by the Dragon Queen...
...
David once again 'sat up in alarm from his near-death illness' in the Chromatic Palace. Looking at the Dragon Queen's five dragon heads, each bearing an expression that was a mix of charm and a smirk, David quickly covered his crotch, squeezed his legs together, and pleaded with his tail tucked, "I was wrong! Your Majesty! I shouldn't have been so disrespectful to you! Please forgive me!"
Even though he knew that it was just a small trick played by the Chromatic Dragon Queen Tiamat using her divine power, merely giving his own logic and fantasy a little push.
After all, she was already a Dragon God; even if she had such a 'reproductive' need, there was no reason to use such inefficient methods.
And another clear proof was that his own Authority had 'no reaction' to the stimulation of these layered fantasies.
Yet, that seemingly genuine and delightful experience still left him with a feeling of being prematurely drained, as if he were burned out in his prime.
He worried that if it happened a couple more times, before he even had the chance to grow into adolescence, he might develop a psychological aversion towards the opposite sex.
"Where did you go wrong?" To his shock, his own Dragon God actually asked this infamous, lethal question known on Blue Star.
For a moment, David was entirely dumbfounded. "Huh?"
He couldn't believe that a dignified Dragon God would ask such an absurd question.
Then he saw the Dragon God lift her tail, her five pairs of eyes slightly narrowed. The tip of her tail swept across the five starkly different mouths, her dazed gaze seeming to ponder something.
Seeing this scene in the reality of Sin of Lust, David involuntarily straightened his tail.
But recalling the terrifying image of the juicer from before, his tail instantly drooped again.
"Indeed... only reality can stimulate the growth of that 'ability' of yours. It's somewhat regrettable," Tiamat said, as if she genuinely felt a sense of loss.
That's when David realized that the Dragon Queen really hadn't thought his rather offensive gaze had 'anything wrong with it' before.
He thought about it, and it made sense. As the Chromatic Dragon Queen, she embodied the ultimate beauty of all Chromatic Dragons in the Multiverse. No dragon should have been able to resist such temptation. If he showed no reaction at all, Tiamat probably would have been upset...
He also finally understood that the previous 'fantasy' was just a test by Tiamat on his Authority's power.
He immediately offered some feedback: "But even in dreams, I can also accumulate this kind of 'power'."
She, however, seemed to have known this all along and said with a knowing, suggestive smile, "Are you referring to the time when your consciousness was attached to my avatar, Redscale? That too was a reality."
"..." David then realized that, in a way, he had been 'possessed' by the Dragon Mother—ah no, in a sense, it was he who had been with Tiamat...
"But that's good too, as it just confirmed that to a certain extent, you have the ability to be unaffected by divine powers."
David's heart stirred; he sensed the Dragon Queen 'needed something from him,' and it likely revolved around this particular power of his Authority.
Sure enough, he heard Tiamat, her five dragon heads looking at him, say in a half-joking tone, "I know Pafila must have told you not to worship me."
David's heart skipped a beat.
"However, I already have your mother Pafila as a believer. And you, being a Heteromorphic Red Dragon driven by emotions—whether you worship me or not is not as important as Pafila imagines, is it?"
David sighed inwardly and said, "Please command me, Your Majesty."
He would treat it as a trade. At the very least, she could smooth over the mess he'd made in Barto Hell. That was good, he thought.
