Chapter 39: THE XU FAMILY
"Honey, Chu Yan…Chu Yan called. He said someone would pick us up, and we could not bring luggage. We could only bring essential documents. They will take us to a safe place. And when we arrive, we cannot tell anyone where we are. Chu Yan also said we have to warn our daughter to behave and follow," Mrs. Xu told her husband in a shaky voice.
"What? What should we do? No, Let's move. Let's listen to Chu Yan. Go tell your daughter." Four Eyes' father said. "I will prepare all the documents we need to bring." He added as he went back into their room to get ready.
"But I don't want to go! Why do you have to drag me along? Why don't you leave me alone!" Chu Yan's sister yelled at their mother.
"Do you want to die?" Mrs. Xu yelled at her daughter as she dragged her down.
"Why do I have to die? What does my life have to do with them? This is where I belong! All my friends are here! I am not going anywhere!" Chu Yan's sister insisted as she screamed.
Just then, their doorbell rang. Four Eyes' mother opened the door.
"You must be Chu Yan's mother. I am Mushu. I am here to pick you and your family." Mushu politely said as he looked around.
"Yes, please come in. I'm Mrs. Xu." Four Eyes' mother courteously replied when she saw the man in an expensive suit.
Only Four Eyes' sister shut her mouth when Mushu and his team entered the house. She was indeed stupefied and suppressed by Mushu's imposing aura.
Mr. Xu also came out of the room carrying a small bag. He brought all the documents together with Mrs. Xu's little jewelry collection and her dowry; he knew how his wife treasures them so he couldn't leave them behind.
"Are you all set?" Mushu asked in a deep voice and stoic face. He looked at the young lady he had heard earlier yelling at the top of her lungs when he approached the door.
"Yes, we are," Four Eyes' father replied and grabbed his daughter, who could not resist after seeing the entourage enter their house.
"Follow me," Mushu said as he led them out of the house.
The family of three was stunned to see a white limousine waiting in front of their home and several black cars.
After they got into the limo, Mushu joined them. "Don't worry about your house. Master had arranged someone to take care of it." Mushu Informed Mr. Xu.
"Thank you, I truly appreciate it," Mr. Xu replied with gratitude.
During the rest of the ride, no one dared to speak, not even glance at Mushu. All their eyes are set either on their hands or on the floor.
The whole family only realized they were brought to the airport when the car stopped and the chauffeur opened the door.
"Where are you taking us? This is kidnapping!" Four Eyes' sister yelled at Mushu. Her name is Nina.
"Stop talking nonsense!" Her mother reprimanded her.
"But mom!"
"I said stop it! Your brother informed me! So just be obedient!" Mrs. Xu sternly said.
"Why does he have to control us? Why does he have to control me? I am an adult! I have a right to decide for myself!" Nina continued to yell at her mother.
"Young Miss, whether you like it or not, regardless as an adult or minor, you are going with your parents. You can either go willingly, tied up, or knocked out. Just let me know your choice." Mushu said flatly.
"How dare you!" Nina shouted at Mushu.
"Have you decided?" Mushu asked without showing any emotion.
"The plane is waiting and has to leave in twelve minutes," Mushu said while looking at his watch.
"Take Mr. and Mrs. Xu first to the plane," Mushu instructed his subordinates.
"Yes, Chief." The security escorted the husband and wife to board the private plane waiting just several meters ahead of the limo.
"I will give you two more minutes to think; otherwise, I will put you under my discretion," Mushu told Four Eyes' sister, who didn't want to get out of the car.
"Two minutes is over. You are surely stubborn." Mushu declared. Mushu's move was so swift that Nina was shocked when she found her hands and feet tied together with Mushu's tie. Nina looks like a pig going to the slaughtering house.
Nina was so mad. She didn't even see Mushu remove his necktie. But now Mushu was carrying her to the plane like weightless cargo over his shoulder, without any chance to struggle.
'Just how did it happen?' Nina wondered.
"Ouch!" With a loud thud. Mushu drops Nina on one of the seats without even untying her.
"Untie me!" Nina yelled.
Mushu did not bat an eyelid, nor did Nina's parents dare to help her; looking at Mushu's stoic face, they were petrified.
The plane immediately departed, and Mushu sent updates to Ling Li.
"Madam, Master Chu Yan's sister is a little something. She is quite a handful and the exact opposite of the Master." Mushu said in his message.
"Who is your Master Chu Yan?" Ling Li asked.
"Master, he is the father of your children. Don't you think it is right for me to call him Master Chu Yan? You do care about him, too." Mushu answered back.
"Peh!" Ling Li retorted.
Though Mushu knows his Madam well, she's only joking, so he also teasingly replies, "Master! How could you?"
"Have someone keep an eye on the little sister-in-law." Ling Li message back.
"Yes, Madam," Mushu replied with a smile. 'Ha ha ha, sister-in-law! I knew it!'
Then Mushu turned his head to look at the young lady again, returning to his stoic face. Nina shivered in fright when she saw Mushu looking at her.
"Untie her," Mushu commanded.
"Yes, Chief." One of his subordinates stood up and untied Nina.
Nina almost dropped on the floor after she was untied. Her wrists and ankles were sore because Mushu tied them so securely.
'Is he even human?' Nina scolded Mushu in her thoughts.
After a few hours, they landed in Shi Shi, a small airport. So obviously the place is in the countryside.
"Why are you sending us here in the countryside?" The young lady yelled again.
