The Post Sky Tipping Era

Chapter 760: Divine Mana

"I must go now, the rest of the journey is up to you."

After Li Yi finished these tasks, he chose not to stay here any longer and decided to leave.

Upon hearing this, Du Peng, Huang Qiu, Liu Gao, and others were silent for a moment. They knew such a Divine Being would not stay for the sake of these refugees. Leaving them with the Cultivation Method and building this natural refuge was already a great kindness.

"Will we have the chance to see you again in the future? If possible, we would like to thank you," Du Peng spoke up.

Li Yi replied, "First, you must survive, the crisis has not truly been averted. No matter how high the walls, they can't keep out the invasion of those biochemical creatures. You must strengthen yourselves as quickly as possible. The day you reclaim this world, perhaps that's when we'll meet again."

After offering his advice, he said no more and then stepped on a Xiangyun, floating away gracefully.

The crowd looked up at the starry sky, watching Li Yi leave, with reverence, awe, confusion, and reluctance.

With such a Venerable God gone, can the refugees within the shelter really carve out a bright future in the Wasteland Biochemical World?

Thinking of the densely packed biochemical creatures in the city, like tidal waves, a shiver ran through Du Peng's heart, but then he steadied himself. At least now there was hope, no longer aimlessly waiting for death.

With this in mind, he turned back and shouted, "The Divine Being named Li Yi has already left. From now on, we have to rely on ourselves. As your new leader, I only ask two things from you all: work hard in Cultivation to become a powerful Evolver and restore production as much as possible."

"The land within this encircling wall is our hope for rebuilding our homeland."

Everyone looked towards Du Peng, their eyes flickering with light. Even some of the lifeless elderly now radiated vigor and youthful energy, ready to strive once more.

The Evolution Method has given them endless possibilities.

No need to worry about lacking power, no need to worry about being frail and old, no need to worry about insufficient manpower. As long as they can hold onto this land, they can gradually reclaim it with the help of the Evolvers.

The mere thought of it was invigorating.

After Li Yi left this place, he planned to find a place to cultivate for a while, then wait for the Cross-border Gate to open again and leave this Wasteland Biochemical World.

On the road.

He saw numerous biochemical creatures crawling on the ground in staggering numbers. These biochemical creatures, like locusts, had eaten everything edible on the ground, leaving desolation without a single tree or blade of grass.

Due to starvation, many of these biochemical creatures were cannibalizing each other.

Yet despite this, the number of biochemical creatures never seemed to decrease, as a batch would die and a new batch would be born from the mother body, filling every corner of this world.

Li Yi even saw several shelters that had long been breached by biochemical creatures, with nothing but a few dozen smashed vehicles and some leftover weapons, not even a human corpse in sight.

The shelter had become a nest for biochemical creatures, with a giant mother body hidden inside.

It was a white Spider Monster, with a big belly, similar to a queen ant in an ant colony, doing nothing but eating, sleeping, and reproducing every day.

Flying over city after city in ruins.

Li Yi quickly reached the sea.

On the calm, dark sea, countless strange heads emerged. These heads were a blend of human and fish, eyes of jade green staring at the sky motionlessly, with their bizarre bodies undulating with the waves.

This too was a type of biochemical creature, still in frightening numbers.

Li Yi glanced across, the sea monsters seemed endless, truly making one's scalp tingle.

Fortunately, the oceanic biochemical creatures couldn't come ashore, temporarily posing no threat to the land survivors.

Li Yi casually struck out, the terrifying Dragon and Tiger Power surged, instantly covering hundreds of miles, annihilating countless biochemical creatures hidden in the seawater, and causing a monstrous tsunami.

Though this strike destroyed millions of biochemical creatures, when the sea calmed a bit, new biochemical creatures emerged from the ocean depths, reoccupying the sea surface.

Moreover, the remains of the creatures killed by Li Yi became nourishment for other creatures, frantically devouring them.

On the sea surface, the roar, chewing, and fighting of monsters was incessant.

Li Yi also saw the mother body of the oceanic biochemical creatures.

It was an enormous creature similar to a blue whale, entirely snow white, with human-like arms and vague human facial features on its head, looking extremely bizarre.

Yet such a creature, after getting ample food, started laying one egg after another, similar to fish eggs, each nurturing a small creature inside.

"They can't possibly all be killed." Li Yi's mouth twitched slightly.

Now his power was considered formidable, the Dragon and Tiger Power exploding, capable of covering hundreds of miles, altering weather and landscapes. Even so, facing these endlessly appearing biochemical creatures still felt insignificant.
