I just posted this on Patreon as well, but here, with the active community, there are whispers, confusions, theories, and so on. I love that. I also don't want you to feel like you get rugpulled because I didn't explain it so well. I'm going to restate something I put in a comment earlier, and then I'm going to paste what I said on Patreon.

I wonder if I've strayed too much into "don't give exposition solely for readers' sake" on this. Long term, I'm going to edit things with the inevitable Amazon release to reflect what I'm giving in plain terms here. However, I want to keep moving forward and writing, so that's what I'm going to do. Anyways. Thank you for the support. It's been an emotional month for me from this book, and I appreciate you all. Steel (40 levels), 51-90 (evolve upon reaching 91)

Boons?
There is a maximum number of Skills in each tier. Each of your Skills, regardless of which one it is or what tier you are, cannot be of a higher tier than your Class's tier. For example,

At level 16, Astrid will get a boon instead of the opportunity to gain another Skill. What does that mean? You'll see. For her in particular, this is noteworthy, because in higher tiers, it's nearly impossible to do this, as the total amount of possible Skills grows. Let me know if you have any questions!
