Chapter 12: Thrain's pyrope awakening

CHAPTER 12: THRAIN'S PYROPE AWAKENING

Thrain's eyes narrowed, his voice firm. "Explain your purpose here."

Akane, Hikari, and Emiri exchanged subtle smiles before gliding toward him, their movements fluid and synchronized. Lynx's eyes widened as they positioned themselves around Thrain, their hands brushing against his arms.

Without warning, they began to undress, their elegant gowns sliding to the floor. Thrain's face darkened, his voice sharp. "Stop."

But Lynx was already entranced, his body responding to the Bijins' proximity.

Thrain's grip on Lynx's arm was firm as he dragged him away from the Bijins. Lynx stumbled, his eyes fixed on the women, his body still responding to their proximity.

As Thrain pulled him back, Lynx's erection became visible, straining against his trousers. Thrain's eyes flicked to Lynx's condition, his expression stern.

"Control yourself," Thrain whispered harshly.

Lynx's face flushed deeper, embarrassment mixing with desire. He struggled to compose himself, his eyes darting around the room.

The Bijins watched with interest, their smiles hinting at amusement. Akane's emerald eyes sparkled. "The young one's passion is...endearing."

Hikari's gaze lingered on Lynx's visible arousal. "Indeed. And Thrain's possessiveness is intriguing."

Emiri's voice was husky. "A complicated dynamic, indeed."

Thrain's jaw clenched, his eyes warning the Bijins to refrain from further comments.

"Lynx, focus," Thrain urged, his voice low. "We need to discuss their true purpose."

Lynx nodded, still flustered, and adjusted his clothing to conceal his condition.

The Bijins' voices merged into a sultry harmony, their words dripping with seduction. "Our purpose, Your Highness, is to bring you...unbridled joy."

Akane's emerald eyes sparkled, her lips curling into a tantalizing smile.

Hikari's sapphire gaze locked onto Thrain's, her voice husky. "To indulge your deepest desires."

Emiri's mahogany skin glowed in the soft light, her voice a velvety whisper. "And satiate your every craving."

Their words danced in the air, a sensual melody designed to entice and disarm.

Lynx's tongue lolled, his eyes glassy with desire, as he stared at the Bijins. Thrain's grip on his arm tightened, but his own resolve was crumbling.

Thrain's control was seeping away, like water gushing from a shattered pipe. His thoughts muddled, his body betraying him. His cock stirred, lengthening, rising against his will.

The Bijins' gazes dropped, their eyes locking onto the growing bulge in Thrain's trousers. Akane's smile deepened. "Our purpose, Your Highness, is to bring you...unbridled joy."

Hikari's voice was husky. "To indulge your deepest desires."

Emiri's whisper was tantalizing. "And satiate your every craving."

Thrain snarled, his patience snapped. "Fuck this, we have to run, we can't fight." He dragged Lynx away from the Bijins' seductive grasp.

Lynx stumbled, still entranced, but Thrain's urgency infused him with adrenaline. Together, they burst through the chamber doors, leaving the Bijins' sultry laughter echoing behind.

Thrain sprinted down the corridor, Lynx struggling to keep pace. "What's going on?" Lynx panted.

"Those women are trouble," Thrain growled. "We need to get out of here, now."

*****

Thrain snarled, his patience snapped. "For God's sake." He stood face to face with his brothers, Cormac and Hitel.

"Who's this peasant?" Cormac asked, his eyes scanning Lynx with disdain.

Cormac's eyes widened, his voice dripping with disdain. "And what's with the state of his clothes? He looks like he's been dragged through the stables."

Thrain didn't respond, dragging Lynx onward.

"You got powers and the first thing you do is bring peasants into the palace?" Hitel mocked.

Thrain maintained his silence, his gaze fixed ahead.

"I cannot believe Father gave him those Bijins," Hitel continued. "Ours were impressive, but his... Emiri, especially, is in a league of her own."

Cormac snorted. "You're still obsessed with Emiri."

Hitel shrugged. "What can I say? She's exquisite."

Thrain quickened his pace, his brothers' banter fading into the background.

—--

Thrain approached the throne room, leaving Lynx at a safe distance from the notoriously strict guards.

A guard stepped forward. "The King didn't summon you. You might as well turn around now, before you get yourself into trouble."

Thrain's eyes flashed with authority. "I am Prince Thrain, and I will not be denied entry. Step aside, or face the consequences of barring a member of the royal family."

The second guard crossed his arms. "Even the Crowned Prince doesn't enter without summons. You're Ryker's student, so we'll give you one more chance. Leave now."

Thrain's voice dropped to a menacing tone. "Refuse me, and you'll face the full weight of my royal displeasure. I won't be dismissed. You have two heartbeats to stand down."

"You were warned," the guards chimed in unison, as flames erupted from their gauntlets, encircling Thrain.

Lynx rushed forward, his eyes blazing with concern. "We have to leave, Thrain! These are royal guards – we can't win!"

"I need to at least teach them a lesson, some way" thrain replied,

For he was determined to reassert his authority and redeem his honor, refusing to let anyone disrespect him without consequence.

******

The air erupted into chaos as the fight began.

The royal guards unleashed precise flames, scorching the stone floor, and exchanged swift punches with Thrain.

Lynx summoned towering infernos, engulfing the guards, but they dodged and weaved, landing swift jabs.

Thrain's fire powers faltered, so he relied on hand-to-hand combat, dodging the guards' blows with fluid agility.

Guard 1 landed a solid kick, but Thrain sidestepped, countering with a swift elbow.

Guard 2 lunged with a flame-wrapped fist, only to miss as Thrain dodged.

Lynx's flames raged on, scorching the walls, but the guards' training allowed them to withstand the heat.

Thrain's eyes locked onto his opponents, his movements a blur as he evaded and countered.

The battle raged on, the outcome hanging precariously in the balance.

The air thickened, heavy with foreboding. The guards' eyes seemed to burn with an intense ferocity.

Thrain's world shattered with a single, crushing blow. A guardian's fist, wrapped in flames, connected with a sickening crunch, shattering his jaw and sending teeth flying.

Thrain's head snapped back, his body following in a limp arc. He crashed to the ground, blood pooling around his shattered face.

Lynx's thoughts screamed in panic. "Pyrope mode, now!"

But before he could unleash the transformation, a blinding flash of energy hurtled him into the wall. Lynx's wounded side exploded in agony as he hit the spot Ryan had ravaged.

His vision blurred, edges darkening. A strangled groan escaped his lips.

—--

Whispers spread among the onlookers, their voices laced with skepticism.

"I thought he's awakened? Where's his fire?" someone murmured.

"Does he think he's above the law, challenging royal guards?" another whispered.

"And after just awakening, no less. The audacity!"

"He must have faked it," a third voice chimed in. "No way he's truly awakened and can't even defend himself."

Thrain's face pressed against the cold stone, his ears burning with the onlookers' scornful whispers.

But then, Lynx's words echoed in his mind: "Reminisce on your wildest experience, bring forth the anger, let it take control."

The mocking voices fueled Thrain's ire. Memories of his darkest moments resurfaced: the agony of his awakening, his brutal torment, and the helplessness that followed.

His anger simmered, then boiled over.

The air around Thrain began to distort, heat radiating from his body like a furnace.

The onlookers took a step back, sweat beading on their brows.

"By the gods..." someone whispered.

In the throne room, the king and his advisors shifted uncomfortably, sensing the sudden, intense heat.

"What's happening?" the king demanded, his voice laced with concern.

One advisor approached the window, gazing out at Thrain's location. "It's the prince, Your Majesty. His power... it's surging."

The heat intensified, stone walls beginning to crack, and flames flickering to life on nearby tapestries.

Thrain's body began to rise, his face still pressed against the ground, as if fueled by an inner inferno.

Lynx's eyes snapped open, a fierce grin spreading across his face. "That's it, Thrain. Unleash it."

The guards took a step back, their confidence wavering.

Thrain's voice rumbled, a low, menacing growl. "You should've let me see the king."

The sound sent shivers down the spines of the onlookers. His voice was no longer human, but a beast's snarl.

Thrain rose to his feet, blood streaming from his shattered mouth. His eyes had transformed, burning with an otherworldly intensity - the exact shade of Pyrope.

Flames erupted around him, a swirling vortex of red and orange that seemed to feed off his rage. The inferno danced, casting flickering shadows on the walls.

Panic set in. People screamed, fleeing in terror.

"Monster!" someone shouted.

"Demon!" another cried.

"Abomination!" a guard yelled, stumbling backward.

Thrain's gaze swept the room, his Pyrope-filled eyes burning with an unquenchable fury.

Lynx watched, a mix of awe and concern etched on his face. "Thrain, control it."

But Thrain's response was a primal roar, his voice lost to the beast within.

The flames intensified, threatening to consume everything in their path.

The king's advisors rushed into the throne room, frantic. "Your Majesty, the prince... he's lost control."

The king's face paled, his eyes fixed on the chaos beyond the window.

"Send the Elite Guard," he ordered, his voice laced with gravitas. "We must contain this before it's too late."

The tornado of flames swelled, engulfing nearby buildings. Panicked screams echoed through the streets.

The king, flanked by his advisors, emerged onto the balcony overlooking the city. His face was pale, his eyes fixed on the inferno.

"Clear the area!" he bellowed, his voice carrying across the city. "Leave your homes, seek shelter elsewhere!"

Guards and soldiers scrambled to evacuate the citizens, their faces set with urgency.

"Where are the Elite Guards?" the king demanded, his voice rising above the chaos.

"They're on their way, Your Majesty," an advisor replied, eyes scanning the horizon. "A raven was sent."

The king's gaze narrowed. "How long?"

"Minutes, sire. They were stationed at the outer garrison."

The king's jaw clenched. "We can't wait. Summon the reserve troops, prepare the city's defenses."

Thrain's roar echoed through the city, the flames dancing in response. The Pyrope-filled eyes seemed to burn brighter, fueling the inferno.

Lynx, still within the burning building, stumbled forward. "Thrain, stop! You'll destroy everything!"

Thrain's response was a primal scream, his body now fully engulfed in flames.
