The Personal Bodyguard of the Female CEO

Chapter 1311: Female Street Singer

After half a day, Lincoln drove into the first city they were to pass through.

"Up ahead is Milo City!" King Kong, who was driving the Lincoln car, turned around and said to the two in the car playing poker.

"It's almost noon. Let's find a restaurant to eat in Milo City. Haha, Julia, you lost again, this time I'm going to draw a turtle!" Wang Dadong sneered.

The two were playing cards in the car, and the loser had to let the other draw a picture on their face.

Julia's face was already covered with various animals and looked quite ridiculous.

Wang Dadong also had some strange patterns drawn on his face.

"Brother Dadong, can you not draw a turtle?" Julia softly pleaded; actually, she didn't mind the turtle, but Wang Dadong's drawing was really ugly.

That turtle. The head... no, even the turtle's head was hideous.

"Sure, if you give me a kiss, I won't draw it." Wang Dadong grinned mischievously.

Although Julia was only thirteen, she was quite well-developed and had grown into an elegant beauty, prompting Wang Dadong to instinctively tease her.

"No way, Brother Dadong has Sister Xue'er, Julia can't kiss Brother Dadong, or Sister Xue'er will get angry." Julia said, blushing.

Wang Dadong was just joking and didn't expect Julia would actually want to kiss him, so he quickly said, "Cough, Julia, don't worry, Sister Xue'er won't get mad."

"Really?" The little girl's eyes showed an inquiring look.

"Really, do you want to kiss or not?" Wang Dadong laughed mischievously. Flirting with a future king's sister was quite amusing.

"I'd rather draw a turtle..."

"..."

The car drove into the street, surrounded by a variety of restaurants, and King Kong excitedly licked his lips, saying, "I once came to National Milo City for a mission, and it seems a soup shop here has really delicious soup. I can still remember the taste of it!"

"Brother King Kong must be talking about the Russian borscht; it's indeed very tasty and came over from Russia!" Julia commented, her face painted with various animals, making her look comical.

"Yes, it's the Russian borscht. Today we're going to have Russian borscht!" It had been a long time, so King Kong couldn't find his way but remembered the general location, and luckily the car had a built-in navigation system.

Milo City is one of the larger cities in Lesotho, the streets wide enough for two big trucks to drive side by side. It was already close to noon, and the streets were bustling with traffic. With the help of the navigation system, King Kong quickly found the Russian borscht restaurant he had visited during his mission.

After many years, the original small shop had expanded significantly and was nicely decorated.

This Russian borscht restaurant was bustling with business, with people sitting both inside and outside. Wang Dadong scanned around and, not finding anyone suspicious, let Julia out of the car.

The most pleasing sight was that the restaurant's waitresses were all beautiful women, dressed uniformly in exotic attire, giving a unique charm.

With so many pretty waitresses, even if the soup were terrible, people would still come.

It's only logical that their business was thriving.

Julia had a veil on her face, but since many girls in Lesotho liked wearing veils, it didn't attract any attention.

The three of them got a private room and ordered three portions of Russian borscht.

Soon, a pretty waitress brought the soup, and Wang Dadong reached out to take it, unexpectedly feeling the waitress's fingers quietly sliding across his palm.

Looking at the waitress's sexy figure, Wang Dadong was shocked. Damn, these Lesotho waitresses really know how to conduct business.

Just a casual little flirt could instantly brighten up a customer's mood.

Maybe King Kong remembered this shop not for the soup but for the beautiful waitresses.

Before dining, Wang Dadong personally used a silver needle to check the three portions of Russian borscht and found nothing unusual, then let Julia eat.

There had been attempts to kill Julia before she fully matured, and now there are probably even more people wanting to harm her, so caution was paramount.

While dining, suddenly there was a knock on the door outside.

King Kong hurried to open it, and a woman holding an instrument resembling a Huaxia-style pipa appeared before them.

The woman was also wearing a veil, but just from her smooth, jade-like forehead and beautiful big eyes, one could guess she was undoubtedly a beauty.

The woman's figure was impressive, dressed in foreign style clothing, with her shoulders, abdomen, and thighs exposing lots of fair skin, her feet barefoot and exquisitely beautiful.

"Who are you?" King Kong asked.

"Hello to the three honorable guests; I am a wandering musician. May I offer you a song?" The woman offered a slight bow to the three and spoke softly.

Her voice was like a yellow oriole, so pleasant to hear. Her singing must be lovely too.

"No need." Wang Dadong coolly glanced at the woman and said.

"Sir, please request a song. It's only a hundred Solaisuo Currency." The woman's voice carried a hint of pleading, her delightful sound and pitiful gaze making it really hard to refuse.

The exchange rate of Solaisuo Currency to Huaxia Currency is 10:1, meaning a hundred Solaisuo Currency equates to only ten Huaxia Currency.

Ten Huaxia Currency for a song is actually cheap, especially with such a pretty woman performing. It would be worth it even for a hundred or a thousand.

But Wang Dadong still didn't show any intention of requesting a song.

"Brother Dong, just request a song. It's hard for people trying to make a living, only a hundred Lesotho Currency." King Kong saw Wang Dadong's reluctance and grew anxious, though he hesitated to speak too bluntly.

"That's right, Brother Dadong, please request a song." Julia also gazed hopefully at Wang Dadong.

Since the princess had spoken, Wang Dadong naturally couldn't refuse, so he said, "You can sing, but you'll sing outside the door."

"Well... Brother Dong, it's not quite nice to have her sing outside, is it?"

"Exactly, Brother Dadong, let her sing inside." Julia pouted.

"It's alright; I'll sing outside." The woman merely smiled gently, then sat cross-legged where she stood and started to play.

As her fair, delicate hands swept over the strings, harmonious music immediately filled the air.

Just in playing technique, she was top-notch.

The three returned to their booth to continue their soup.

"The fragrance of lotus fades as the jade mat cools, quietly untie the silk garments and ascend the orchid boat alone..." After the prelude, the woman's song began.

It was actually a song from Huaxia.

"Moon Full West Building."

The woman's voice quality was excellent, and the emotion contained within her singing was incredibly genuine, almost as if the three could see the depicted scene come to life before them.

It was virtually heavenly music. This song should only exist in heaven; how rarely it wafts through the earthly realm!

It's unimaginable that a wandering musician could sing so well.

All three simultaneously closed their eyes.
