Harnessing the Demon Energy to absorb the Qi Force, and then projecting it back in the form of Blade Energy, Li Jiancheng employed the move Sky Absorption and Sun Erosion, intending to turn the tables with his opponent's tactics.

Yet, the fire power unleashed by Qing Yu was not so readily absorbed. Though the Heavenly Demon Blade was launched, Li Jiancheng was burnt internally, his screams of agony intensifying.

"Qiankun Xunfeng."

The trigram shifted, the piercing Gang Wind swept through the flames, aiding the fire's ferocity while the wind's own might grew—mutual enhancement of wind and fire sent Li Jiancheng flying ten zhang away.

"You're far too weak," Qing Yu commented, shaking his head in dismay.

In the original story, although Li Jiancheng managed to employ all the Heavenly Demon Nine Forms, he only succeeded in suppressing Li Shimin's Six God Technique.

Qing Yu's current strength, however, had long surpassed that level.

"Cough cough..." Li Jiancheng struggled to his feet and spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, his expression even more ferocious as he cursed, "Demon Path scum!"

"Hum—"

Under the clear blue sky, a dark green star appeared, draping down Demon Energy that flowed into Li Jiancheng, rapidly healing his internal injuries.

There it was—the least reasonable of the Emperor's Legend series: the Destiny Charm, or as it might be called, the Star Charm.
