The One Beneath None!

"Impossible!!, how are you here?, I heard they killed you!... Guards!". Thomas screamed hysterically, his body shaking in fear. He was now just an ordinary man after all, even if these kids were Level 1, he wouldn't be able to resist. Not to mention, his veteran senses were telling him that these kids were all way beyond that level.

"No need to shout out, no one outside will hear you. And I was never killed, they just tried to wipe away my soul but as you can see, it didn't work". Max said with a smile while pulling chairs from the room for the two ladies to sit. He himself remained standing since there were only two chairs.

"Wh-what do you want, I no longer have anything, my brother seized it all, you can go to to him". Thomas, the snake he was, was quick to throw his own brother under the bus.

"Well now, it seems a snak...leopard really never changes its spots. To think you're already ratting your brother out before I even ask anything. Though you seem to have an affinity with quite a few animals, a snake, a leopard and a rat too, wow Mr Thomas, I'm impressed. Oh and don't worry, your brother's turn will come. For now, I'm going to ask some questions and you will answer, understood?". Max spoke, a smile still on his childish face.

"Y-yes, ask me anything, I'll tell you everything, just don't kill me please!". Thomas said, he didn't even mind that a child was mocking him.

"Good, where did you get the op aphrodis...cough, the poison you used on my mother?". Max asked, his personal interest in it leaked out a bit.

But luckily for him Iliana didn't know about such matters yet so didn't sense anything wrong with his words, while Silvia was still just a little girl so also didn't sense anything wrong. Of course the old pervert Thomas got it, but he dared not call him out for it leat he gets slapped to death by this little monster who felt just as scary as his father.

"From a weird, black robes person with a sinister aura and oddly coloured sk". As Thomas spoke he was interrupted.

"Oh, so Phar was speaking the truth huh...and also it means you are also speaking the truth, good for you. I don't really need to know the rest, just tell me where I can find this black robed, white skinned fellow. I'm really starting to get personally interested now. Max interrupted him and quickly got to the point.

'Ri-right, I'm not sure where he is right now, but last I heard of him, he said he was going to Crypt". Thomas was even more afraid now, from his words and insight, he deduced that this kid had been to Crypt, interrogated Phar and returned in one piece. The news of Phar's and his commander's disappearances hadn't spread around yet to the surrounding nations since it was being suppressed by the nobles of Crypt. Well, it actually had, but was only known to a select few from their spies. Thomas wasn't aware of it yet, his brother didn't see the point of telling him.

"Oh, is that so....well now I dont really have anything I want to ask you, and you did kinda try to r*pe my mother. Sure it led to her union with my father but still...even without that, I can sense that you're a really bad dude, you definitely r*ped many women in your life time. Anyway, point is, I think I'm gonna kill you now" Max said with his usual innocent smile on his face. Of course to Thomas, his smile looked anything but an innocent, it was more akin to a grim reaper's evil smirk...if he had flesh and skin.

"But-but, you promised not to kill me if I spoke truthfully!". Thomas screamed, his eyes opened wide in horror from the prospect of dying.

"Correction, you suggested it, I never acknowledged it, now die". Max said with the same smile on his face as he held his hand out at Thomas.

"Wait N...". Thomas was disintegrated by a silver bolt before he could finish his shout. Silvia couldn't help but get goosebumps all over her skin. It always amazes her how he could kill manage to kill someone with a smile on his face. She didn't know that Max had hate and disgust for humans from two lifetimes, his current one and the one before so he really no longer saw them as anything special unless he approves of them like with her.

As for Iliana, other than Grace, every other human was like an ant. And why would a person's emotions fluctuate when the see another person killing an ant?.

"Now, let's go visit our snakey king and pope...you know what, I'll just deal with them at once". Muku spoke before he and the girls disappeared from the room.

The Pope who was busy preachig to a congregation in front of the church suddenly disappeared. Everyone was left shocked and panicking. The holy knights running around the place trying to find the missing Pope but to no avail.

I the king's office, he was reviewing some paperwork, his advisor beside him.

"So what do you think about Phar's disappearance?". The king asked his advisor.

"I know what you're thinking and I assure you, it's impossible". The advisor spoke, the king had been asking this question everyday since they found out. It was kinda giving him a headache, having calm the nerves of this paranoid oldman everyday.

"If you say s". As the king was responding, he was interrupted.

Bang!

The pope heavily fell in front of them, which would stop anyone from speaking. Worse yet how the pope looked confused at what was going on.

"Can you please tell me what the king thinks is the cause of old Phar's dea... disappearance, I'm quite curious". A childish male voice sounded from within the room I'm the direction of the door before they could ask the Pope what was going on.

The three men looked on the direction of the voice and...There, a child with silver hair and eyes, an aura that seemed way too familiar. Two young girls behind him.

"Ahh!"

The pope started screaming on the spot as he held his bleeding eyes. He had tried to use his discerning eyes, an ability he was born with, to look at the young man to see what his level was since they couldn't sense it. When he did, what appeared in front was a blinding silver light, then it turned golden before turning black. Then excruciating pain rocked his eyes, they even went blind and started bleeding.

"Sigh, idiot, don't you know somethings aren't meant to be seen, how are you the pope anyway?". Max spoke then looked at the king.

Being looked at by those familiar silver eyes he was sure he had never seen. The king immediately knew that his day of reckoning had come. And he immediately fainted on the spot. Prompting a speechless expression from Max, he didn't expect a Level 8 warrior to straight up faint due to fear.

Since the pope was screaming on the ground holding and the king had fainted, Max could only look at the last guy in the room. The king's advisor who hadn't moved an inch since he saw Max.

When Max looked at him....he started shaking like crazy from fear and.....peed himself!?.

"What the hell is wrong with these people!?, each one of their reactions is even worse than the one before!. They area making me look like I'm the bad guy here!". Max said out loud, pissed off by these idiots. At least the ones before them had enough shame to not be so over the top like these old men here.
