The One Beneath None!

Back on the battlefield.

Just as the demon lord was about to act again something weird happened. The battlefield was covered by dark clouds out of nowhere and a bored voice was heard.

"Displacement"

An even more bizarre thing happened after that, all the human soldiers who were still alive disappeared. This was a scary thing considering that they still amounted around twenty thousand. Just like that, twenty thousand men and women disappeared right in front of the demon lord's shocked eyes!!.

"HeheheHahahahahahahaha, well well well, things are certainly getting interesting now, to think I didn't...I don't feel anything hahahaha". The demon lord broke into mad laughter.

The rest of the demons including the dukes felt fear like they never felt before, even more than when....

They could instinctively feel that whoever or whatever took the humans away was definitely not an entity they wanted to ever face. They couldn't help but think that even their all mighty demon lord might not stand a chance against such a being.

What they didn't know was that even in his mad laughter the demon lord was also shook by what just happened. Though as leader, he couldn't show weakness so tried to laugh his dread off.

On the border of Sambaya...

The around twenty thousand soldiers all appeared with confused expressions on their faces. It only made sense, as one moment they were on a battlefield fighting a losing battle while the next they were here.

Before they could make sense of what was happening, a great silver barrier started forming right in front of them.

It went beyond what their eyes could see in two directions and the sky.

What they didn't know was that this silver barrier that appeared out of nowhere has enveloped the four kingdoms that still had kings.

While people were still in awe, the civilians from the three kingdoms that lost their kings who were outside the barrier suddenly disappeared.

They, along with the movable items around them suddenly appeared in the barrier's edges on the inside of it.

Then the voice that was heard by those that were teleported was heard throughout the four kingdoms!.

"You have two years from today". That was all the voice said then it faded into the atmosphere.

All that was left was the silver barrier that vaguely sparked lightning.

A week later...

The demon lord and his men had regrouped and finally made it to the barrier.

"Well this certainly looks interesting". The demon lord wanted to touch it but something told him that he shouldn't.

"Hey you, come and try touching this for me will you" he said looking at one of the human slaves they used as packmen when going through places horses wouldn't dare.

The man shook for a bit before fearfully going forward. He looked at the imposing barrier and didn't dare touch it. It was only after a cough from the demon lord that he closed his eyes and lunges forward accepting his fate.

Surprisingly to everyone, he went right through unharmed, except for the slave collar around his neck which was obliterated.

The man now on the other side opened his eyes slowly. Noticing he was still alive and then noticing that his collar was gone...he surprisingly made a break for it running deeper in the barrier.

"Hey!!"

A demon soldier reacted quickly and gave chase. As soon as he touched the barrier though, a thick sliver lightning bolt came from the barrier and struck him down. Not even ash was left of him.

The rest of the demons subconsciously took a step back. The demon lord's eyes widened a bit at the power of the barrier.

"So it only targets demons huh...okay, five mages, attack it from range". At first no one dared attack it but a cold look from the demon lord made the closest five mages send out their attacks at the barrier.

The attacks reached the barrier but seemed like pebbles that fell into an ocean...they drowned without making much of an impact.

Then five bolts flew from the barrier and before anyone could react, the five demon mages were erased.
