Chapter 19: Chapter 18:[Shadow Clone Jutsu ll]
As the weeks passed, the Shadow Clone Jutsu became an essential part of their training. Naruto used his clones to experiment with new ideas, refine his chakra control, and test out his developing jutsu. Hinata used hers to push her taijutsu skills and enhance her Byakugan abilities, constantly striving for greater precision and strength.
One evening, after a particularly intense session, Naruto sat on a tree branch, watching his clones work on a new seal. "I can't believe how much we've improved," he said, his voice thoughtful and full of pride.
Hinata joined him on the branch, looking at the clones she had summoned. "It's all thanks to you, Naruto-kun. You always know what to do, and you push us to be better."
Naruto shrugged, but there was a warm smile on his face. "You're just as amazing, Hinata. You've always been strong, and together… we're unstoppable."
---
As Naruto and Hinata continued their training in secret, they found themselves growing more skilled by the day. Their bond was stronger than ever, and they had learned to trust one another fully. But there was something else they began to realize—spending all their time at the Academy, pretending to be less capable than they really were, was starting to feel like a waste of time.
One quiet evening, as the two sat together after a particularly intense training session, Naruto voiced his thoughts.
"Hm, Hinata, do you ever feel like we're just wasting time at the Academy?" he asked, his gaze distant as he thought about the repetitive lessons.
Hinata blinked, looking up at him with curiosity. "What do you mean, Naruto-kun?"
"Think about it. We're doing things way beyond what they're teaching us there. We're already capable of so much more, but we're stuck sitting in class all day, pretending to be clueless. I'm getting tired of it." Naruto paused, then grinned, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "What if we could use our Shadow Clones to skip it?"
Hinata's eyes widened slightly, her expression thoughtful. "You mean… we could send clones to the Academy in our place? But… wouldn't that be risky? What if someone notices?"
Naruto shook his head, a confident smile spreading across his face. "We'd make sure everything goes smoothly. We can use the clones to do the work and attend the classes, while we train and get stronger without anyone suspecting a thing. It's not like they'd ever be able to tell the difference between us and the clones."
Hinata hesitated for a moment, but then nodded, seeing the logic in Naruto's plan. "I see what you mean. If we keep it simple, and only make a few clones, no one should notice. And that way, we can focus on our real training without being stuck in class all the time."
Naruto grinned, excited by her agreement. "Exactly! We can train as much as we want, and nobody will even know we're skipping out. It's perfect."
---
The next morning, before the sun had fully risen, Naruto and Hinata met at their secret training spot. Their plans were set, and they were ready to put them into action.
"I'll make the clones look just like us, down to the last detail," Naruto said, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "We won't have to worry about anyone catching on."
Hinata nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of her mouth. "Let's make sure we don't go overboard, though. We'll only make four clones at a time. That should be enough to get us through the day without raising any suspicions."
"Four it is!" Naruto said, confidently performing the seals. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
Four clones appeared in a puff of smoke, each identical to Naruto and Hinata. They exchanged a quick nod before the clones disappeared, ready to head to the Academy in their place.
Naruto turned to Hinata, his expression softening. "Alright, we've got the whole day to ourselves. Let's make the most of it."
Hinata smiled back, her eyes warm with trust. "Let's do it, Naruto-kun."
---
For the rest of the day, Naruto and Hinata trained relentlessly, refining their jutsu, experimenting with new techniques, and testing the limits of their abilities. They used the time to push each other to new heights, honing their chakra control, developing new strategies, and bonding even more deeply as partners.
Meanwhile, their clones were at the Academy, flawlessly mimicking their behavior. They followed the lessons, interacted with their classmates, and even answered questions when asked—all without a hitch. The clones were careful not to draw attention, and by the end of the day, no one suspected a thing.
The next morning, as they gathered to debrief, Naruto looked satisfied. "See? Perfect. No one even noticed we were gone."
Hinata nodded, still amazed at how well the plan had worked. "It went better than I expected. We'll be able to keep doing this and keep getting stronger."
Naruto's eyes sparkled with determination. "Exactly. The stronger we get, the less anyone will suspect. By the time the Academy catches up, we'll already be way ahead."
As the days passed, the duo continued their secret training, always using the Shadow Clone Jutsu to cover their absence at the Academy. The clones learned the material, interacted with their classmates, and kept up appearances, while Naruto and Hinata focused on what really mattered—growing stronger, mastering jutsu, and preparing for the challenges ahead.
Their bond deepened with each passing day, as they worked together to become shinobi far beyond their years. No one at the Academy would ever know how much progress they were making. And that suited them just fine.
