The Multiverse Hunter

Chapter 210: Chapter 210

FLEX. CRACK. CRACK.

Ali stretched out his arms and rolled his neck, standing in his garden. He was dressed in the casual black joggers and Nike hoodie he had bought the previous day, looking no different from an average young man in his early twenties living in modern-day Earth.

'Time for my first world on the Second Level...'

Last night, he had read through the updated Second Level booklet Jacob had given him, learning about several new worlds he could potentially be sent to. But there was no way to predict where he would land-only the system decided that.

Ali opened his interface, watching the countdown.

"Teleportation link opens in 4... 3... 2... 1..."

The familiar sensation of weightlessness overtook him, his senses fading away for an instant before reality snapped back into place.

Ali opened his eyes immediately, body tense and fully prepared to react.

He found himself in a dimly lit alley, the ground littered with overturned trash bins and discarded waste. The air carried the faint stench of alcohol and urine, unmistakable signs of a neglected backstreet.

Stepping forward, he exited the alley and entered the bright, chaotic streets of Times Square, New York City.

Towering LED billboards, flashing advertisements and news updates. A massive crowd moved around him, tourists snapping pictures, street performers entertaining passersby, and locals minding their own business as they hurried to their destinations.

Ali pulled his hood up, blending into the crowd. His height and physique already made him stand out enough-there was no need to attract unnecessary attention.

'New York... So a modern Earth world.'

He leaned casually against a brick wall, his sharp gaze scanning the ordinary people going about their daily lives.

'They have no clue about what's really happening right now...'

These civilians were completely unaware that players from Paradise had invaded their reality, looking to steal their world's most valuable resources-and in some cases, even destroy it entirely.

As he observed the crowd, his attention was drawn to a drunk man stumbling into the same alley he had just stepped out of.

Ali smirked slightly.

'Drunk this early? You just put yourself up for me on a plate...'

Without hesitation, Ali followed the man into the alley. The drunk tripped over a pile of trash, struggling to push himself back onto his feet.

"What the fuck are you looking at?" The man slurred aggressively, glaring up at Ali.

Ali's expression didn't change. "Go to sleep."

He flicked his finger.

BANG.

The drunk's head snapped backward, slamming into the alley wall with a sickening thud.

He collapsed instantly, his body going limp as a thin trickle of blood dripped from his scalp.

Ali crouched beside the unconscious man, checking for a pulse. He was still alive, but...

'I put too much Force into that...'

Shrugging, Ali rummaged through the man's pockets, taking his wallet and phone.

He used the drunk's face to unlock the device, pocketing the cash before discarding the wallet.

Now armed with a local phone, Ali opened a web browser, skimming through the latest news.

"Yeah... this ain't good."

The headlines confirmed what world he was sent to.

'Mutants. Super soldiers. Billionaires making flying suits...'

Ali exhaled sharply, eyes narrowing.

'I'm in Marvel.'

He glanced back at the unconscious man, noting the continuous stream of blood leaking from his head.

'He'll die soon from blood loss...'

With a wave of his hand, Ali lifted all the heavy trash in the alley using the Force, burying the man underneath it. His body vanished beneath the garbage-completely concealed

'I need to be careful in a world like this. I can die easily here...'

Despite his abilities, Marvel was a dangerous place.

Ali tried to recall what he knew about the Marvel Universe.

I' remember Spider-Man...watched the earlier movies when I was under ten years old. But then... I got kidnapped. After that, the outside world was no longer a thing for me...'

A notification flashed across his interface, snapping him from his thoughts.

Ali opened his interface, his eyes locking onto the new objectives.

"World Event: Find the Super Soldier Serum in under two days."

"Personal Mission: Destroy a Hydra underground laboratory in New York (0/1)."

"Personal Mission: Defeat an Avenger (0/1)."

A slow smirk formed beneath his hood.

'Time to get to work.'

With a single leap, Ali vaulted off the ground, rebounding off the alley walls to reach the rooftop in mere seconds.

Now standing on the edge of a skyscraper, he looked down at the vast, bustling city of New York, contemplating his next move.

Elsewhere in New York..

In an abandoned warehouse near the city's port, a beautiful woman stood alone, bathed in the dim glow of a streetlight filtering through a broken window.

Evelyn.

She was dressed in a sleek black dress that clung perfectly to her curves, exuding both elegance and danger. As she reviewed her own mission objectives, a playful smile curled on her lips.

"I got lucky with this one..."

Then-her body morphed into black smoke, rapidly shrinking until she transformed into a sleek black cat.

With effortless grace, she leaped onto the windowsill and slipped into the night, her golden feline eyes glowing with mischief.

A Darker Corner of the City...

"STOP! PLEASE-I BEG YOU!"

A young man sat naked and bound to a chair in his own apartment, his wrists and ankles tied tightly.

Behind him, a woman-older, cruel, and wicked-licked her lips in sick pleasure. Her elongated, monstrous fingers traced slowly down his chest, inching dangerously lower.

"Please... please, no..."

Her sharp nails glided gently across his skin, leaving a shallow cut from his chest to his stomach.

"HEEEEELP-UGHHH!"

She clamped a hand over his mouth as he tried to scream. Then-a dark purple gas seeped from her palm, forcing its way into his nostrils and mouth.

The moment he inhaled it—

Silence.

His voice was gone.

He tried again, screaming with all his might—But no sound escaped.

Then, suddenly-unimaginable pain.

His eyes darted downward-Blood. Blood everywhere.

Between his trembling feet, his manhood lay severed on the floor. His silent screams echoed through his mind as his vision blurred, and then—

Darkness.

Unconscious.

The woman-known as "The Witch" within the Death Guild-moaned softly, licking the blood off her fingertips as she admired her latest work of art.

Her eyes glowed with pleasure, her face twisted into an expression of pure bliss.

"I love it... I love Paradise so much. I can do whatever I want-and no one can stop me."

She traced a finger along the unconscious man's jawline, her smile widening.

"I can't wait to put that boy in a chair like this..."

Paradise had a way of exposing the darkest depths of human nature.

When given the chance to do whatever they desired without consequence...

Some people became monsters.
