The Multiverse Hunter

Chapter 170: Chapter 170

The Jedi looked down at the deep purple and red discolouration spreading across the side of his stomach, his brow furrowing in pain and realisation.

Close combat with the Sith in his state would be suicide. He tightened his grip on his lightsaber and exhaled slowly, his eyes calculating his next move.

Ali stood motionless, watching as the Jedi extended his hand. The crack in the earth behind the Jedi widened dramatically, massive slabs of stone erupting from the ground. The boulders floated into the air above the Jedi, each one heavy enough to crush Ali entirely.

Ali instinctively prepared to lunge forward, his muscles coiling like springs. But before he could move, he felt a crushing force descend upon him. The Jedi had unleashed an enormous wave of Force telekinesis, pinning Ali to the ground with an energy so intense that his body wouldn't respond to his commands.

'He's using everything he has left,' Ali thought, ceasing his struggle as he analysed the situation. A slow, dark smile formed beneath his cold eyes. 'Fine… let's see how far you'll go.'

Ali used his telekinesis and six crimson lightsabers sprang to life behind him, their hum filling the air. The blades floated forward and began to spin, forming a defensive barrier in front of the immobilised Sith.

The Jedi gritted his teeth, summoning his strength as he swung his hand downward. The boulders overhead shot toward Ali like meteors, their speed so great that even a glancing hit would obliterate him.

The six lightsabers spun faster, creating a whirlwind of crimson energy that met the boulders head-on. With blinding precision, the sabers sliced through the massive rocks, reducing them to small fragments. But the Jedi wasn't finished.

Channeling his remaining strength, he took control of the shattered fragments, sending the smaller pieces flying at Ali like a hail of bullets. The shards hurtled toward him with deadly accuracy, their sharp edges gleaming as they reflected the light of the battlefield.

Ali's smile widened. His quinque rose from his back, hovering above him like a shield. The grotesque, muscle-like weapon blocked the majority of the incoming shards, the smaller fragments bouncing harmlessly off its surface.

A few pieces found their mark, slicing into Ali's arms and legs, but the Ali didn't mind them as long as he survived the attack.

The Jedi's face tightened with a grim expression. He knew his strategy was only delaying the inevitable.

As the final shard clattered to the ground, Ali felt the crushing hold on his body weaken. With a sharp intake of breath, he flexed his muscles and broke free of the Jedi's telekinetic grip, the sheer force of his release causing cracks to spiderweb out beneath his feet.

Ali lunged forward with explosive speed, closing the distance between them in an instant. The Jedi coughed up blood as he raised his hand to summon a Force barrier around himself, his focus now shifting to the three Jedi Masters running to his aid.

'Hold on… just hold on until they reach me,' the Jedi thought desperately.

But Ali saw through the Jedi's plan.

Ali sprinted toward the barrier, his speed almost inhuman as he reached the Jedi in a blur. He didn't even bother drawing his lightsabers. As he extended his right hand, crimson lightning crackled and coiled around his arm, the air itself shimmering with heat and energy.

"Now I shall KILL YOU," Ali declared, his voice booming across the battlefield.

The red lightning erupted from his hand and smashed into the Force barrier. The Jedi poured everything he had into maintaining the shield, but the sheer power of Ali's attack overwhelmed it in seconds. The barrier shattered into fragments of light, and the lightning struck the Jedi directly.

VVVVVVVVVVVV!

The Jedi screamed as his body was consumed by the raw electricity. His skin blackened and burned, his robes disintegrating as his charred corpse fell backward with a dull thud.

The battlefield fell eerily silent for a moment, the sound of his body hitting the ground was loud in the ears of every Jedi who had witnessed their commander's death.

Ali stood over the corpse, his expression impassive, crimson lightning still crackling faintly around his fingers. His cold gaze turned toward the three Jedi Masters who had frozen mid-step, their faces pale with shock.

Ali extended his hand toward them, his voice low and mocking. "Here, take the rest."

The red lightning exploded from his palm again, arcing across the battlefield in jagged streaks. The three Jedi Masters raised their hands, attempting to block or redirect the attack, but the power was too much.

The lightning tore through their defences, their bodies convulsing violently before collapsing lifelessly to the ground.

"Force lightning really is the most powerful Force ability… if you don't know how to counter it," Ali muttered, staring at his hand as the electricity dissipated.

But the Jedi army's misery was only starting as Ali raised his comms device and sent a message.

A sharp whistling sound filled the air as a black capsule descended rapidly into the heart of the Jedi army. The soldiers and Jedi around it turned their attention to the object, their expressions tense as it landed with a resounding thud.

The capsule hissed as it opened, revealing a small figure that appeared no older than a teenager. The child's face was hidden behind a black helmet, their body clad in lightweight armour.

The soldiers raised their blasters, and the Jedi readied their lightsabers, preparing to eliminate the unknown threat.

But before anyone could act, the child let out a scream.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

The sound tore through the battlefield, rupturing the eardrums of anyone nearby. The Force surged outward in a devastating shockwave, vaporising the closest soldiers and Jedi into ash. The shockwave expanded rapidly, turning everything in its path—organic or mechanical—into nothingness.

Ali stood still, his black eyes watching the destruction unfold with a detached expression.

'Sivara turned Reka—a child—into a weapon of mass destruction, I guess that's why the council give her so much power' he thought, his gaze lingering on the wreckage the child had left in their wake.

Ali turned his attention back to the frontline, his cross-guard lightsaber igniting as he locked eyes with the remaining Jedi. He looked up to see Renella hovering beside him, her green energy shimmering faintly as she awaited his signal.

Ali nodded, and the two charged forward.

Ali sprinted ahead of Renella, his crimson lightsaber trailing a faint glow as it cut through the air. The first Jedi in his path was already engaged in a desperate battle against a Sith apprentice.

The Jedi parried the apprentice's strikes with precision, only to suddenly find the Sith flipping upside down through the air.

'HUH? What…?' the Jedi thought, confused.

His decapitated head hit the blood-soaked ground with a dull thud, his body collapsing shortly after. Ali didn't even slow down, stepping over the lifeless form without a glance as he continued his rampage.

The next two Jedi saw him coming and immediately raised their lightsabers, their stances strong and steady. But just as they prepared to strike, Ali vanished, reappearing in a blur between them.

Both Jedi attempted to defend, but roots erupted from the ground beneath them, wrapping tightly around their arms and legs. Their movements were completely restrained, leaving them wide open.

Ali's hands plunged into their chests with brutal precision, his fingers piercing through flesh, bone, and muscle. The Jedi screamed, but their cries were cut short as Ali ripped their still-beating hearts from their bodies. He dropped the bloody organs to the ground, their rhythmic pulses fading into silence.

Without a word, Ali turned his gaze toward his next target—a player marked with the blue insignia of the water guild.

The player barely had time to react before Ali's blade pierced his back, burning through flesh and armour with ease. The guild member collapsed, dead before he hit the ground.

"NATALYA!" one of her guild-mates screamed, recognising the Sith responsible for the commander's death.

Natalya, standing nearby, spun around just in time to see Ali holding the lightsaber stabbed in the player. Rage overtook her as she lunged forward, her blue lightsaber humming as she aimed to strike him down.

Ali, however, left his lightsaber embedded in the corpse and casually sidestepped her attack.

Natalya gritted her teeth and swung again, but Ali's fist was already hurtling toward her stomach.

'How…?' she thought as his speed overwhelmed her.

BANG!

The punch connected with her abdomen, sending a shockwave of pain through her entire body. Natalya gasped as her vision blurred, her knees buckling beneath her. She clutched her stomach, her lightsaber slipping from her grip as panic and agony consumed her.

"Natalyaaaaaaaa!" a soldier cried, sprinting toward her in a desperate attempt to intervene.

Ali turned to face the incoming attacker, his movements calm and methodical. As the soldier lunged at him, Ali simply sidestepped, allowing the man to fall face-first into the dirt.

Without hesitation, Ali raised his boot and stomped down on the soldier's head.

PLACK!

The man's skull shattered like glass, blood and brain matter splattering across the ground. Some of it landed on Natalya's face, painting her cheeks with crimson streaks.

"No… no… no…" she muttered, her voice trembling as her mind struggled to process what had just happened. Her hands trembled as she reached out toward the soldier's lifeless body, her panic turning to despair.

The Force around her began to warp, growing chaotic as her emotions spiralled out of control. Her eyes flickered and slowly turned red, her grip on the light slipping as the dark side clawed at her soul.

'Losing herself to the dark side,' Ali thought, watching her with a mix of amusement and disinterest.

He stepped closer, reaching out with the Force to lift her into the air. Natalya struggled weakly, her limbs flailing as her vision blurred.

Ali gripped her left ankle tightly with his hand, swinging her around like a rag-doll before hurling her with immense force deep into the Jedi ranks. Natalya's body soared through the air, spinning uncontrollably.

Her disoriented gaze caught one final image of Ali before she lost sight of him:

The Sith tore through her guild-mates like a demon. His lightsabers danced in the air, cutting them down with merciless efficiency. Their bodies falling to the ground in multiple pieces.
