"Anthony!" Liah clutches her chest as she breathes a sigh of relief. "Liah? What the hell are you doing standing in the middle of my room holding a baseball bat?" Anthony asks passing her and shoving the two suitcases under his bed. "I thought someone was breaking in," Liah says taking a few more deep breaths.

"Hey, bring those in here will you." He calls behind him. 'Someone is with him'. She thought clutching her nightgown to her body and wrapping her hands around herself in an attempt to hide her hardened nipples.

"Trust me, they would've to be incredibly stupid or have a death wish to break in here." Anthony snorts. "Well, the Other Side is full of stupid people with death wishes." She points out. "Was full of people like that." Anthony snorts again. "He killed most of them earlier." Anthony chuckles as Michael enter the room.

Liah's heart skips a beat as Michael's dark eyes met hers. "Moses." She said breathlessly. "Good night." He greets her with a small nod as he hands the suitcases he was holding to Anthony, which Anthony shoved under his bed as well.

She wanted to run to him, throw her arms around him and kiss him until he couldn't breath but her brother's presence in the room stop her from doing so, but from the seductive way he was biting those luscious lips of his and the intensity of his gaze as his dark eyes swept over her body, it's as if he could read her thoughts.

"Alright, for reason's I can't explain right now, he'll have to stay here for a few days. He's not to go outside at anytime, okay, no one can know he's in this house. Here's some money Razor send over to cover his expenses." Anthony said handing her a wad of cash.

"He's staying here?" She asks, her heart racing faster at the anticipation of all the things she could experience with him, right here, under her roof."

"Yes, and by the way man, those motherfuckers killed my father, so thanks again for what you did." Anthony said. "It was not my intention to hurt anyone...." "Yeah, yeah, I know, but they had it coming, fucking pussies, anyway, I'm going to get the other stuff, stay here." Anthony orders.

"Woof." Michael says panting like a dog as Anthony walks pass him, Anthony turns and glares at him but then snorts and shakes his head. "You had better thank your lucky stars that I like you right now." Anthony growls before storming from the room.

Michael rolls his eyes and snorts and Liah couldn't help but giggle. 'Could this man be any more adorable.' Her feet began moving towards him but then halt again when she heard her mother's voice.

"What is going on out here?" "Hi, Mama, Liah will explain okay, I've to go, I'll be back in a few hours." Anthony says placing Michael's suitcases in the room and hurrying from the house. "I don't have to tell you to put something on over that night gown, do I Liah?" Her mother asks in a disapproving tone. "No, mama." Liah grumbles grabbing her robe off the bed and pulling it on.

Her body was so hot and her skin so sexual sensitive that the last thing she wanted to do was put on more clothes. At present her mind was more along the line of stripping naked and shoving that gorgeous man on that inviting bed that was only a few feet away and have her way with him.

"You're the white knight everyone's been talking about, aren't you? Why are you in my home?" Her mother asks Michael. "I'm sorry for the intrusion ma-am." Michael says with a small bow. "This was not my idea." He adds.

"Anthony says he needs to stay here for a few days and no one can know that he's here." Liah says. "Well if It's coming from Anthony, that means it's coming from Razor." Her mother sighs heavily. "He gave me this to cover his expenses." Liah says showing her mother the money.

"Well. there's nothing we can do about it then. Okay young man, you might not have meant to but you've removed a great threat to this community and for that I'm grateful. Now I won't hold what happened between you and that young girl over at Razor's house against you because you were forced but you're under my roof now, so you'll keep your hands to yourself, do you understand?" Her mother asks in a stern tone.

"Yes ma-am." He answer with a nod. "You'll treat my girls with respect or you'll answer to me, do we have an understanding?" "Yes ma-am." He says again. "Good, now it's almost four am, no use in going back to bed, so I'll just get my day started. I need to go into town today anyway." Her mother says walking away.

Liah sighs in relief as her mother leaves. She took two steps towards him again but again had to stop when she heard her sister's voice. "Oh great, now everyone is awake." She grumbles to herself.

"What's going on? Who should treat us with respect?" Zoey asks rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "Him," Her mother said from behind her. "Sweet Jesus!" "Zoey! You know better than to take the Lord's name in vain." Her mother scold her. "Sorry," Zoey says clamping her hand over her mouth. "Forgive her Lord." Her mother said before walking away again.

"Good grief, you're gorgeous." Zoey says breathlessly. "Are you real? Or just a mirage?" Zoey asks walking towards him and began poking his arms and chest." 'Don't touch him, only I'm allowed to touch him." Liah's inner voice screams but out loud she said. "Zoey stop, that's rude."

"Seriously Liah? As if you're not thinking the same thing. I mean, for crying out loud, look at him." Zoey says in awe as she circle him. "Are you really the one that took out the other side?" She asks in disbelief. "Zoey," Liah gasps in shock at her sister's brazen question.

Michael nods but said nothing. "Are you bullet proof? Or maybe you're the Flash or better yet, maybe you're a vampire like Damon in Vampire Daries." Zoey says leaning closer to him. "Alright, enough, get back to bed, now, you've school in a few hours." Liah points out.

"Get back to bed? Liah, seriously, this man took out the other side's base and he doesn't even have a scratch on him. How is that even possible?" Zoey asks staring into Michael's dark eyes. "You're a mysterious one, aren't you? Maybe you're one of those Universal soldiers." She said poking his chest again. "Certainly feels like a soldier, you're rock solid." She giggles as Michael regard her with curiosity. "Go, zoey, now." Liah said more seriously than she had before.

"Alright, alright, I'll see you in a few hours, my vampire solider." Zoey said waving at him. She was almost to the door when she turns back to Liah. "Aren't you coming?" Zoey asks. "Yeah, I just need to help him get settled first." Liah said impatiently.

"Hold on a sec, did you have anything to do with Liah been dragged out of here by Razor's men earlier?" Zoey asks walking back towards him. 'Ugh, thanks for ruing that conversation.' Liah thought narrowing her eyes at Zoey. That was not how she wanted him to find out she was in his room earlier. She was thinking more along the lines of whispering it to him while kissing his neck and stroking his shaft. Why can't her sister just leave already?'

"So you were there? Liah?' Michael calls his voice cutting into her thoughts. "Hmm," "Why were you at Razor's house earlier?" He asks in concern. "I have no idea. All I know is that one minute I was in my kitchen washing the dishes and the next I was been dragged from my house, shoved in a car, taken to Razor's house where they shoved me in your room, left me there for about two hours, then they came back dragged me from your room, shoved me back in the car, took me here, shoved me out of their car and drove off." She explains.

"On entering my room earlier I sense that you were there but when I asks, no one had any knowledge of you being there." "When they came for me at first I thought you were hurt but when I got there and you weren't there I didn't know what to think. Then later David told me what you did and I thought you were the one who told them to bring me there to keep me safe." she said her voice trailing off.

"I didn't, but one thing is for certain, when it comes to Razor, safe isn't a word I would use." He said in a serious tone. "I agree," Zoey says walking over to the bed and began removing the sheet. "Why the hell won't this brat just leave already?' Her inner voice screams.

'I wanted to do that, but seductively, so seductively that it would send her message of how badly she wanted him so loud and clear it would send shivers throughout his entire body but again her sister ruin that as well.

"Zoey! What are you doing?" Liah demands. "Changing the sheets of course, you don't expect our guest to sleep on these, do you?" "I can do that, you need to get back to bed." Liah says. "I've been sleeping since 9: 30 last night, trust me, one night without my full eight hours isn't going to kill me." Zoey said turning her attention back to what she was doing.

'That may not kill you but I will if you don't get the hell out of this room.' Liah's inner voice screams. Lately her inner voice has taken on a life of it's own. Sometime it became a difficult task keeping herself from saying what her inner voice was screaming at her, like right now.'

"Okay, I've an idea, you come with me." Zoey says taking Michael by his hand and leading him from the room. "Where are you taking him?" Liah demands, her annoyance showing. "Well listen to you, you sounds as if he's your newborn baby or something. Relax, I'm just taking him to the living room. He has been through a lot, it's not right that we have him standing here like this. He can relax on the sofa while we get the room ready for him." Zoey says over her shoulder.

Liah glares at her sister's retreating back. If looks could burn holes into people, her sister would be a well heated strainer right at that moment. "Damn that annoying little insect." Liah fumes. 'She ruin everything." She grumbles to herself while yanking the sheet clear off the bed.
