The lord of life and death

In the morning sun, under a tree, Rain sits with a book in front of him. Three days have passed since he was rescued. When he learns the identity of the Changer who rescued him, he is shocked. 

The Changer was none other than his mother. To save him, and his mother through the Chimera realm. He was unconscious for a day, and when he woke he found all his injuries were healed. He was hailed as a hero in the village and nearby villages.

This was one reason for Rain to rescue his friend from the slavers. Rain after merging with Glenn, his consciousness controls Glenn's body. Glenn's memory can influence him but cannot make him risk his life. 

From Glenn's memory, he found Alchemists are not treated well by the tree-spirit people. And after, He became an Alchemist and did not try to rescue his friends and other tree-spirit held captive by the slavers. His situation will be much worse in the village.

And if he did not save them, he would be unable to read this book. This book introduces the properties of every plant and tree found in the world, even those that are still not found by any living being. This book is a copy of the original book, which was said to have been given to the tree spirit by The God of Plants and Life. 

He found this book in the library of the priest in the village. Before the Slaver incident, He was not allowed to enter the library, only a few select people were allowed in the library. He was permitted because he asked for it. One of his friends who was held captive by the slavers is the priest's daughter Eliane.

For saving his daughter, the priest asked what reward I wanted. And for him, the most important reward is knowledge of the world. He asked for permission to read books in the library. 

After he got the reward he read books to increase his knowledge of the world. And he learned more about the world, Tree Spirit Race, other Races, and Alchemist. The most important thing he learns about this world is that there is more than one continent in the world.

Three continents, the Divine Continent, the Frozen Continent, and the Wild Continent. He also got the answer to the question without any extraordinary resource or energy why there are extraordinary practice system that leads to God.

The answer is there is extraordinary energy and resources in the world, but not in the Divine Continent, Where he lives. Because the extraordinary energy of the world is deadly to most people. Only if you have reached a certain strength only then you can use the energy.

The gods isolated all the energy from the Divine continent because the God of Light and Fire came upon a palace where energy is isolated and where he found a race living there, and something happened the God of Light and Fire learned about the power of faith and dramatically increase his strength and because of his increase strength he had to leave the world and create a divine kingdom in the starry sky, that always shine on the world. 

Later other three Gods also learned about faith to acquire the power of faith they created their sentient races. For their races to live they selected a continent and isolated all the energy of the world. Following the examples many strong people created sentient races but they were not able to become God and are called DemiGods. After the four gods only The god of alchemy became God.

The Tree Spirit race is considered a quasi-extraordinary race because of its lifespan of 1000 years. Except for the Humans other two races created by Gods are considered quasi-extraordinary. 

About the Alchemist he learned that before reaching the Real Crown Realm one can break the limit of its false in one way. An alchemist can break the limit of their body before the Real Crown Realm by transforming his body but it has the danger of dying. And in the Real Crown Realm with the power of own's Soul can break the limit of the body without any danger. 

He wanted to find more knowledge about body transformation but found none in the priest's library. Now he is reading a book about all plants and trees to create a way for him to acquire power of belief.

He chooses the way of the healer to gain the power of belief. He researched and found he could not gain the power of belief from the tree spirit race as a quasi-extraordinary race. They heal their injury very quickly and there are priests for their sickness. The findings did not demoralize him because the tree spirit here not his target.

His targets were half-tree spirit people like him whose injuries do not heal quickly and the priests do not treat them for simple injuries or disease. And he found what causes most death of half-tree spirit are simple cuts which become infectious. And the infection causes their death.

In modern society, this problem is solved by the invention of antibiotics. The knowledge he had antibiotics is from Earth that antibiotics are created from fungus. So, why he is reading the book about information about plants and trees?

Because he got information from Radiation World that some antibiotics are created from plants and trees. With the knowledge from Radiation World, He wants to find plants and trees that are found nearby to see if he create antibiotics using them.

He already found three and a fourth is missing to complete a formula he found from radiation world to create antibiotics. He read the book and soul chip scan to match the properties of plants and trees for the final missing ingredient.

Rain thought went to the alchemist's way information he found. After becoming an alchemist, selects a path to acquire the power of belief. There are three major paths and countless minor paths. 

Most alchemists choose a major path for their practice direction and a few minor paths to draw nutrients for them to acquire the power of belief. He found the three major paths are- Potionist, Forger, and Astrology. He further found that the main creator of the potion's path is the tree spirits race because of their knowledge of plants and trees given to them by their God.

But the alchemists learned it from the tree spirits and took it further, tree spirits only use plants and trees to create potions, whereas alchemists use anything for the creation of a potion. In the Forger path, alchemists learn from the stone spirit race, and in The Astrology path from the Sea spirit race.

But nothing from the Human race. Most of the alchemists are from the Human race and the God of Alchemy was also a Human before he became God. Like alchemists, Humans also learn the three major paths, but they only copy them whereas alchemists innovate and improve the path.

The path he decided to take the path of the healer is a minor path that falls under the path of Potionist. So, he wants to learn the path of the potionist from the tree spirit race who are the creators of the path, and because now he lives in the territory of the tree spirit race.

He found a basic book of potions from the library but for advanced knowledge, he asked his mother where he could learn. His mother replies he was a tree spirit race then he could join the potion guild to learn. But as he is not only half tree spirit, and half tree spirit to join the potion guild they have to submit the creation of a new potion. And this is also one of the reasons for him to create antibiotics. 

He is pulled out of his deep thought by the alarm of the soul chip. As it found the fourth and final ingredient its name is snake scale river lily. It's found in the river bed.

" The river near me will take me 2 hours to reach from the village."

" So today is not possible, then I will start the journey tomorrow at Dawn."

The rain did not stop reading the book after he found the final ingredient or flipping the pages of the book. He wants to store all the information from the book in his soul chip. And for others not to suspect something, he acts like he is reading the book.

His thoughts go to when he will leave for Freedom City because only there he will be able to access more knowledge of the world and alchemist. He cannot remain in the tree spirits race because, at a point in time, a conflict will occur. After all, all tree spirits like or tolerate alchemists. 

He decided that after 1 week from now, he start his journey to the City of Freedom. The Endless Forest is at the western part of the divine continent and Freedom City is at the southeastern path. To reach Freedom City from the endless forest, He will have to cross several human kingdoms and at last Mist Swamp.

For him, the most challenging to cross will be not the dangerous Mist Swamp filled with minor races and poisoned animals, insects, and plants. For him, the danger is to cross the Human Kingdom. 

He looks like a pure Tree spirit race and he crosses the human kingdoms looking like a tree spirits many nobles and slavers will try to capture him. And if found out he is an alchemist then the church of the God of Light and Fire will pursue him.

So, He will find a way to hide his tree spirit race features. If he does not look like a tree spirit then a major problem is solved and the noble will not pursue him and he will not show the power of the alchemist to escape them. And the church will not find him to be an alchemist.

Rain hears his Mother calling him for lunch. 

Rain replied," Coming Mother." and stood up holding the book, and started walking in the direction of his home.
