The Lord Demon King is Unfathomable!

Chapter 287: Proclaimed Fate (Part 3)

"I'm afraid the Divine Punishment is nothing more than this..."

Uyana Cui Lin's voice was as soft as the tide, her pale green scales seemed to shimmer with a lamenting light.

She was from the Tide Tribe, the prophet of the tribe, who had often recited the Sea God's revelations, warning her kin not to anger those outsiders.

Although the Sea God's warnings were false, fortunately, her caution was correct.

"Hahahaha! As expected of Lord Demon King... these damned bugs meeting such an end, it's retribution!"

Aisemata Hamaka, the Clan Mother of the Sand Ridge Tribe, gazed intently at the ruins of Assam City. In those beautiful vertical pupils, there was not a hint of lament, only the satisfaction of revenge achieved.

Unlike the Tide Tribe residing along the coast, the feud between the Sand Ridge Tribe and the Holy Armor Dragon Kingdom could be traced back a thousand years.

Though it's unfortunate she couldn't personally take revenge, now she counts as a vassal of Lord Demon King. Rounding up, it means she avenged!

Praise the Demon King!

A trace of intoxication appeared on her gold-glowing scales, and the slender tip of her tongue flicked as she licked the corner of her lips.

"Fortunately, we made the right choice."

Standing beside Aisemata, Siya's vertical pupils shimmered with a serene and wise light, her steady tone like a cool breeze over the dunes.

Her gaze passed over the Holy Lake, landing on Assam City—or rather, the ruins of Assam City.

Unlike the Clan Mother, she saw not only victory but also a newborn Divine about to be crowned beneath the blood and fire.

And they happened to stand on the right side.

"Incredible..."

The Elder of the High Mountain Tribe murmured, his dusty gray scales full of the ravages of time, staring blankly toward the center of the lake.

"The temple the Holy Armor Dragon Kingdom spent over a thousand years building... turned to ashes overnight."

If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, he would never have believed anyone could accomplish this.

Urga, who stood beside him with wings folded, smirked mockingly at these stunned Alien Races, as if looking at a group of bumpkins lacking insight.

"You only understand now?"

Though he was also one of the tribes, as a loyal servant who had silently watched from the air since Lord Demon King set foot on this land, Urga felt he was worlds apart from these bugs.

Uyana Cui Lin gave him a meaningful glance, while the other peripheral tribes cast disapproving looks his way.

Except for Aisemata, who merely curled her lip, not dignifying this backward-standing guy with a glance.

Undoubtedly—

Among the many Lizardmen standing here who could be called the vassals of Lord Demon King, only she, who had once fought "side by side" with Lord Demon King's servant, was worthy of this honor.

Once everything was over, she would erect a monument in the Double-tailed Rift Valley of the Central Desert to dedicate to the Demon King!

Urga continued rambling beside her.

"I have long said, that lord's Strength far exceeds our understanding of Extraordinary Power. Not to mention a mere Dragon God Temple, even a Barrier personally set by the Dragon God would be nothing more than a flick of the wrist to him."

All the Lizardmen were silent for a moment, some showing reverence, others lowering their heads in thought.

Just then, jet-black thorns suddenly surged from the lake's edge, startling the Short-legged Dragons drinking by the shore.

The massive pressure enveloped the lakeside.

The Lizardmen all cast their eyes toward the twisted thicket, their eyes filled with a mix of astonishment and vigilance, thinking that the Demon King had arrived, only to see an elegant woman emerge from the brambles.

Her black long dress outlined her graceful figure, the hem below her ankles brushed the lush green grass, and a seemingly gentle gaze hid sharp edges like knives.

Aisemata's scales tensed, breathing slightly heavier, and her vertical pupils contracted slightly at the moment their gazes met.

That was the gaze one would give to a bug!

However—

She couldn't summon any anger in her heart.

Only the tremors and fears from biological instinct!

Bransia did not look at her.

Or to be more precise, though that lazy gaze swept over the Lizardmen present, it did not rest on any face.

As the true vassal of Lord Demon King, she smiled softly, her voice gentle yet carrying an undeniable quality.

"Lord Demon King has sent me to escort you into the city, please follow me."

With that, she turned around and walked toward the center of the Holy Lake, toward Assam City.

The Lizardmen exchanged cautious glances before finally taking steps to follow her.

Following Bransia's steps, they traveled the broad road to the center of the Holy Lake, passing through the ruins of the half-collapsed city wall.

Aisemata looked around; it was her first time stepping into the Holy City, and she didn't expect the situation inside to be even more astonishing than she imagined.

The wealth of the Holy Armor Dragon Clan exceeded her expectations.

Every building here was constructed of stone blocks; even though they were dilapidated, the exquisite carvings on them remained visible.

No wonder they were no match for the Armored Dragon Clan, as their national strengths were on entirely different levels!

If not for the Great Graveyard's intervention, they might have been crushed by the Armored Dragon Clan's expeditionary force...

Aisemata felt unwilling, yet she had no choice but to acknowledge this fact.

Other than Aisemata, the other Lizardman leaders let their gazes wander, looking at the street's remnants in dismay.
