Chapter 279: All Tribes Welcome the Demon King with Food and Drink (Part 4)
She paused for a moment here, looking at the trusted aide standing at the tent entrance and gave an order.
"Convey my command, prepare the gear and set off immediately! I will personally head to the Northern Coast to express the Sand Ridge Tribe's loyalty and submission to the Demon King!"
"Yes!" The guard bowed and left the tent, quickly preparing.
The elders in the hall all knelt on one knee.
"We faithfully follow your will, Clan Mother."
Aisemata nodded slightly, left the people in the council hall and the map, and walked out of the tent briskly, spirits high, golden vertical pupils filled with impatient excitement.
There was no further need to discuss the migration.
Given the power currently displayed by the Demon King Army, not to mention a hundred thousand troops, even a million more would likely meet the same fate!
From now on, the Sand Ridge Clan will live proudly under the sunlight, no longer enduring the unreasonable plunder of the Holy Armor Dragon Kingdom!
Under the protection of Lord Demon King, no one can threaten their survival anymore!
Now, there's only one thing she needs to do—that is to seize the future of the Sand Ridge Clan!
...
The Teleportation Array set by the Demon King Army was not far from the capital of the Sand Ridge Clan, and the connected site was located to the south of the Demon King's fortress.
Through the Magic Array emitting a faintly glowing green light, in just a moment, Aisemata crossed hundreds of kilometers, arriving nearby the dense and humid rainforest of the Northern Coast.
The dark green glow dissipated from beneath her feet as the characteristic damp air of the rainforest rushed toward her.
Before she could adapt to the turbulent feeling of spatial disarray, a familiar voice greeted her ears.
"Sister, you have arrived."
Following the voice, Aisemata looked and just happened to see her younger sister Siya standing in front of the Teleportation Array, smiling and waiting for her.
Seeing Siya safe and sound, a sense of relief surged in her heart, and she stepped forward to speak.
"Siya, it's been a while; the tribe's affairs have been thanks to your hard work."
Siya slightly bowed, shook her head with a smile.
"It was the mission bestowed upon me by Atiya, and it was my duty… Clan Mother, please come with me, I will take you to the camp of our envoy."
The two walked slowly through a section of dense forest and soon arrived at the camp of the Sand Ridge Tribe's envoy.
The camp was not large, but it was neatly arranged, with several simple training grounds erected around it.
"This is..."
Aisemata's eyes moved slightly, her gaze falling on the training ground beside them, showing a hint of subtle surprise.
There, just those hundred talented youths of the Sand Ridge Clan she had previously presented as a gift to the Demon King.
They were seriously holding short daggers, practicing precise and lethal stabbing techniques against straw man models repeatedly.
Their movements were swift, each stab was fierce and crisp, evidently prepared specially for assassination and stealth combat.
It seemed they had been practicing here for some time.
"Lord Demon King was dissatisfied with our training methods, and thus decided to retrain them," Siya said softly, casting her sight toward the training ground, then focusing on a figure, "Currently responsible for training them is Lady Sarah... She is a guard of the Demon King. Naturally, my intuition tells me their relationship is not just seemingly simple."
Aisemata paid no heed to the latter half of her sentence, following her sight towards those Sand Ridge warriors training intently, she only saw a slender woman standing with her back facing her.
She was wearing snug yet simple light armor and a battle robe, her indifferent expression showed no fluctuations in emotion, with a pair of conspicuous cat ears slightly twitching atop her head, although her demeanor was casual, it emitted an aura difficult to perceive.
Aisemata's intuition told her that this thin, seemingly humanoid being was no easy opponent!
She hadn't had time to inquire further when a commotion suddenly came from not far away, a tall and familiar figure just happened to walk out of a tent.
Seeing Aisemata, a cold frost-like expression of surprise briefly appeared on Nema's face, quickly approaching her.
"Clan Mother?! Why have you come personally?"
"I have come to thank Lord Demon King... No need for formalities, please rise."
Aisemata gently helped Nema up with a warm expression.
But in the next instant, a strange color flashed across her face, as she gazed at the familiar face in disbelief.
The strength bestowed by Hamaka's blood allowed her to distinctly feel the astounding transformation in Nema's aura.
"Nema, your power... Have you broken through?!" Aisemata's eyes widened in disbelief.
Nema did not conceal the truth, lowered her head with a devout expression to confess.
"Yes, Clan Mother... You may have already sensed it, it is indeed the power bestowed on me by His Majesty the Lord Demon King. With that great one's assistance, I successfully broke through the bottleneck of the Holy General Level and ascended to the Divine General Level."
Sure enough, a breakthrough!
But... how could this be possible?!
A sudden shock hit Aisemata's heart, rendering her speechless, her face full of incredulous expressions.
Enhancing soul level... that's a power only possessed by legendary divine beings!
Only sufficiently devout warriors, returning to the embrace of Atiya upon death, could possibly acquire greater power in the afterlife!
What's happening here?
Nema seemingly didn't notice Clan Mother's moment of shock; her face was filled with unmatched admiration for His Majesty the Demon King.
That gaze... as if willing to entirely entrust her life and soul to him.
Siya gently coughed, and Nema, immersed in the grace of Lord Demon King, suddenly woke from her dreamlike state.
