The Legendary Emperor King

Chapter 87: Chapter 12 - City of Entertainment!

In Alexia's room, Odyssey stood near the door with her hands on her hips. When she noticed Alexia's irregular breathing, she rushed into the room. –Alexia! Wake up! Wake up, girl... – she exclaimed.

Alexia stood up suddenly breathing heavily. – Please... – she exclaimed, with her body trembling and covered in sweat.

Odyssey Aesir sat on the bed and hugged her daughter, running her hand over Alexia's back. – Hey! Calm down, daughter! It was just a dream, just a dream... – she said soothingly.

Trembling with tears in her eyes, Alexia replied. – I don't think so, mom, it's a vision... I'm sure, it's another one... – she said, her face red with terror.

Her mother hugged her tighter. – Shh! Shut up, it's over... – she whispered in her ear.

That same night, in the province of Demeanor, Aphrodite's province, the province of the Queen of the Night, Aphrodite had many more titles.

Desire, lust, pleasure, joy and ecstasy were the only rules of the province. It had ten cities and more villages that many entered but few came out, it was a money-making machine and one of the sources of power of the goddess of the province.

Arthur and Hera in the capital of the province, city of Entertainment. They entered a restaurant holding hands, their presence emanating elegance and beauty, leaving everyone in awe.

Some women, looking intensely at Arthur, murmured. – Does that one work for the goddess?! It's not possible that he's that beautiful and doesn't work in the Temple of Love, is he a priest? Or an envoy of her?!... – they whispered, eyeing Arthur like ravenous wolves.

The astonishing Hera, next to Arthur in a long red dress with her hair curled behind, noticed the looks. – Is it my imagination or is everyone looking at us...? – she said, glancing around the restaurant.

Arthur laughed. – Of course, it's your imagination... – he said, guiding her by the hand to the bar. "My goal here is simple, to draw attention and see what this city hides, – he thought, looking at Hera. "Although it won't be difficult, the most attractive and beautiful woman in the world will do the job, if it's not for her face it's for the most beautiful body in the world..." Thinking.

A woman with pale skin, black hair, heart-shaped pupils and black wings on her back, stood behind the bar, smiling at Arthur. – Hello, how can I serve you...? – she asked, staring at him.

Arthur, smiling, looked at Hera. – It's best not to show that I'm surprised by the shape of her pupils, and her skin tone... – he thought as his eyes fell on Hera's white face. – A bottle of the oldest wine and two glasses, please.

The woman, looking at Arthur from top to bottom, smiled. [Master, do you see this man?! He's so hot, he must be a god from another region.... But why is he with her...?] she transmitted, glancing away from Hera. – Very well...

A female voice in the woman's mind replied. [I can see, child! This one is mine! Treat him well, and don't worry about the one next to him, I'll remind her of her place!] she exclaimed, laughing.

Hera, looking at Arthur with a vein on her face, sighed. – Seriously, I'm not liking the way they look at you! And this woman completely ignored me... – she muttered, her face red with jealousy.

"Oh, my dear future and unwanted wife, she has not only seen you but also knows exactly who you are..." Arthur thought, looking at Hera. – Hera, choose the table where we will sit!

Minutes later, Arthur and Hera sat at a table, talking.

Clenching her fists, veins appeared on her face. - Arthur, what did you do?! – Hera questioned, noticing the many looks.

Arthur, sitting in front of her, pretended not to notice. – What do you mean? – he asked.

Looking around, Hera exclaimed. – Every five seconds, someone is looking at you! I hate this place because of this! There are only prostitutes here in this city! – she exclaimed, crossing her arms.

And it was true. They all looked at Arthur, not because they were prostitutes, but vampires had never seen a Titan before, never had a Titan in their arms.

"It's as if they knew something... As soon as we entered, the looks began... It would be normal if they were directed to Hera, but me?!" Arthur thought with a smile. – So, you're jealous because other women are looking at me?

Hera pointed her finger at him. – It's not jealousy! And where is that waitress?! – she exclaimed, veins on her face.

– To distract your mind, play some music on that piano over there... – Arthur suggested, pointing to the piano behind her, in the center of the restaurant.

Princess Hera, looking at him, asked. – How do you know I play?

He raised an eyebrow. – Did you forget that we lived together on the island? – he replied, looking at her.

Hera, looking at the piano, then at the people around. – There are a lot of people here... – she said, glancing at Arthur.

– Are you nervous? – Arthur asked with a smile.

– All right! All right! I'm going... – Hera exclaimed, getting up from her chair and walking to the piano.

"My God, how many looks..." Hera thought, looking at Arthur. – What should I play? – she asked shyly.

Arthur, looking at her, said. – Anything, just play... – he said sitting at the table while using Hera as bait.

Hera, sat at the piano and prepared her fingers. "What to play...? My God, there are so many people..." she thought with trembling hands.

Everyone at the tables, noticing Hera at the piano, looked at her in silence.

Arthur, looking around, thought. "I want to be sure if what Butler said about this province is true. I can't just destroy an entire province based on rumors..."

Hera, looking at Arthur, exchanged glances with him for a few seconds and, blushing, lowered her head. "Of course, you..." she decided, starting to sing.

Minutes later, Hera was playing the piano and singing. – You have turned my desert into a garden... – with her eyes closed.

Arthur, looking at a young man with a dehydrated body and drooping skin, thought. "That young man has the appearance of an old man, but that woman next to him, is..." he focused on the pale-skinned woman with heart-shaped pupils, black hair, black wings on her back, and a revealing black dress that showed off her curves. "I can tell why he looks that way..." he thought.

The young man looking at the woman sitting next to him with his eyes shining with desire. – I'm going to spend the night with you today! Yesterday I couldn't because of my wife... – he whispered as the woman approached him.

– Don't worry, honey... – the woman whispered in the boy's ear, licking his face.

"Him looking like that can only mean that she absorbed his Life Force. But how...?" Arthur wondered.

The woman, aggressively kissed the skinny boy, taking his hand and putting it on her body.

Arthur understood. "Forget it, I already understand how it works... Through the act..." he thought, observing the two of them. – Hmm...?

Not that kind of act! They sold dreams and fantasies, not their bodies. Each vampire had the ability to create dreams and fantasies, and they sold this in exchange for years of life, Life Force. And the boy ended up buying too many dreams and fantasies.

And yes, vampires drank blood and ate flesh, absorbing Life Force was just their job, the Life Force went to the vampire goddess who also happened to eat meat and drank blood.
