"Krish, are you there?" Harry inquired mentally, concerned that the AI might have vanished following the upgrade.

"Yes, how may I assist you?" Krish responded.

Harry exhaled in relief, appreciating the comfort of conversing with someone at any time.

With Krish's presence confirmed, he redirected his focus to the inspect skill.

When he thought about it, a brief description appeared in his sight.

According to the system, this skill allowed him to acquire information related to everything.

A smile spread across his face as he realized the system now started resembling to a game.

Upon going through things he can only be sure about Qi cultivation but he didn't have any idea about what was Body cultivation and stat points

As he pondered stat points, a description emerged. Encountering another novel term, he queried, "Can you explain 'elemental proficiency'?"

Hearing his name, he snapped out of his reverie. He feigned awakening and noticed that Tyler and the woman had also standing.

He wants to try many things but for now those plans have to wait.

Liam briefly conveyed all essential details to Harry and the others.

From Liam, Harry learned they were currently in the Star Association building.

This association recruits newcomers to the Domain from the outer world.

Within the Domain, he has to acquire resources to level up that are available but costly.

To earn the currency, known as 'star coins,' they can undertake bounties, complete quests to slay magical beasts, or simply kill any beast and exchange beast crystals for star coins.

The quantity of star coins depends on the beast's level. Beasts are categorized into basic-tier, intermediate-tier, advanced-tier.

Harry also learned that the realm beyond the foundation building level is the elemental master realm.

'So, elemental masters can only wield element,' Harry concluded, synthesizing Krish's and Liam's information.

"This city is considered one of the smaller cities in the Domain, and the city lord is an elemental master, although no one knows the lord's exact level," Liam concluded somewhat proud in his eyes.

After a prolonged silence, Liam added, "If you have any questions, feel free to ask."

Considering everything he had heard, Harry speculated that the Star Association might have a database of entrants.

He thought there could be information about Jason, so he contemplated asking Liam about it. But first, he inquired about elements.

"Can you elaborate on elemental proficiency, and do you know anyone named Maria or Jason?" Harry asked.

"Umm, I've never heard of either name. Regarding your first question, only elemental masters can utilize elements. In this city, there are only two people at that level: the city lord and the Star Association's envoy. But no one knows which elements they command."

"So manipulating ice is an elemental power, not something just anyone can do?" Harry asked, recalling his past experience.

"Yes, manipulating ice, water, fire, wood, or any element can only be achieved by elemental masters," Liam confirmed, curiosity piqued.

'does that mean person who took our exam was either of the' Harry thought.

Ignoring Liam's questioning gaze, Harry asked, "Do you know where the recruits' data is stored?"

Liam looked at him with mixed emotions. "Why do you need information about the database, and do you really think someone like me would know about it?"

Harry was not disheartened, as he suspected he wouldn't obtain any information from Liam. For now, he focused on the tasks at hand.

After further conversation, Harry learned that the tall, broad woman was named Meru.

Liam continued to eye Harry skeptically.

"Now let's go out to eat first, then we'll embark on our first hunt," Liam announced.

They exited the room. There were many similar rooms, followed Liam to the lift.

Upon entering, Liam commanded, "Take us to the ground floor," and the lift descended. Tyler, Harry, and Meru were astonished by the technological sophistication.

The lift door opened to a lively scene with many people conversing. Ignoring the crowd, they exited the building.

As Harry stepped outside, he sensed a different kind of energy in the atmosphere. Each breath seemed to strengthen his body.

They all enjoyed this energizing sensation.

The city resembled any other city, with the notable difference being the abundance of cultivators and this mysterious energy. "Let's try the inspect skill," Harry said. He inspected a person.

He had a premonition that it wouldn't work since this skill is rendered to be used on things but surprisingly a green colour text appeared.

"So this ability can reveal their levels. Since there's no other way to discern someone's level, it will be useful."

Then his logical thinking took over him, how's it possible to discern someone's level. He has two theories, first this system was using energy fluctuations around the person to rank him or its a omnipotent thing which was far fetched.

Curious to test the skill further, Harry aimed it at a nearby lamppost. To his surprise, a response popped up:

Krish immediately chimed in with a sarcastic remark, "I think you just discovered the hidden power of lampposts!"

Harry rolled his eyes, feeling slightly embarrassed. Tyler and Meru looked at him, puzzled, wondering why he was staring intently at a lamppost.

"Sometimes convenience can blind you to the obvious," Krish joked, laughing.

Harry scoffed, feeling even more embarrassed.

Liam suddenly said misunderstanding Harry's attention "Here, people rarely use technology, although it's advanced compared to the normal world."

"Why don't they use technology, it's very convenient" Tyler asked.

"It's not because we don't have much idea, it's just here people take it to their ego" liam shared his opinion.

The conversation didn't last long when they arrived at a restaurant made of the same material as the other buildings. Harry perused the menu, encountering unfamiliar dish names.

Seeing the same reaction on everyone's faces, Liam explained, "The normal world lacks many things like various magical beasts, herbs, and such. Although there aren't many beasts in the Domain since it is also on Earth, we can sample many different kinds of meat."

After ordering, they started eating, hungry from the previous day.

As they were eating, Harry pondered many things, such as how magical beasts existed on Earth and where he might find his father or Maria. He needed to reach bigger cities quickly and find a way to bring his mother to the Domain.

There were many tasks he needed to accomplish. Lastly, he noticed the quest he received immediately after the upgrade.
