So, he suited up (well, as much as a half-machine dude can) and led his team on a suicide mission to blow the place sky-high.

The fight was brutal. Sto faced off against General Kael, who'd upgraded himself with tech to match Sto's powers. It was a clash of titans, and Sto gave it everything he had. In the end, he unleashed all his energy to destroy the facility—but it completely wrecked his body in the process.
