The Legend of Min Hong

What? Min Hong, stopped and turned around. "Could it be that this Azure Queen Boa is about to appear?" Wasting no time on thinking, Hong dashed across the lake surface towards a different direction, wanting to flee the scene.

"Hua…" An extremely beautiful, massive serpent head emerged from the whirlpool in the middle of the lake, covered with azure scales.

Staring at the massive head of the Azure Queen Boa which had emerged, Hong's face grew pale. "I'm in serious trouble now. I didn't expect it to be this fast!" with his 'One with World' footwork, Hong could escape the attacks of many spirit beasts, and in the Mist Marshlands, there's only a few spirit beasts that could pose a threat to him, but the Azure Queen Boa was one of them.

"I just had to encounter it on my very first trip to the Mist Marshlands. What a shitty luck I have!" Hong's brains quickly reviewed all the information the Min Family had on this beast.

The Azure Queen Boa was a spirit beast that had a Demon Beast ancestor! According to records, the last time it was investigated by the Min Family, it possessed the power of a 2 Star Dan Formation stage!

Although it was only a sprit beast, due to it possessing a 22 percent bloodline purity of a demon beast, its power was comparable to a 4 Star Dan Formation stage beast.

The Azure Queen Boa was famous for its agility! In other aspects, it was perhaps a bit inferior to magic beasts, but in terms of agility, it was not inferior to some magic beasts and Nascent Soul beasts who had comprehended a Universal Law!

In addition, its venom possessed hallucinatory properties. If it lands a bite on its target, even magical beasts would be trapped in a loop.

"Hualala!" from afar, the surface of the lake started to reveal and enormous and sleeky serpentine scaly body. The Azure Queen Boa raised its head high staring at Hong, its eyes were filled with confusion. It let out a low hissing sound.

"Huh?" Hong frowned, staring back at the Azure Queen Boa. What was this snake saying? He couldn't understand. The Azure Queen Boa was a spirit beast with a 22 percent bloodline purity about to evolve into a magic beast.

Beasts with Bloodline purity below 25 percent are classified as spirit beasts and the Azure Queen Boa was such a beast.

Even though it was a 2 Star Dan Formation beast, it could easily defeat Hong. And because of its bloodline purity, Min Hong would be affected by its aura.

Hong's footwork technique, which was the only reason he easily killed the Rhino Emperor was countered by the Azure Queen Boa's agility, which put Hong in this extremely deadly situation.

Beasts with Bloodline purity of 25 percent and above are classified as Demon beasts, those with purity of 50 percent and above are tagged Ancient Beasts, and those with purity above 75 percent are tagged Divine beasts.

But because the Azure Queen Boa just entered the Dan Formation stage, it couldn't transform into a human form yet, and as a result was incapable of speech unlike the Rhino Emperor who was almost at the middle region of the Dan Formation.

Shua! A human form abruptly appeared beside the Azure Queen Boa. It was a thin, blue robed man. He looked at Hong and yelled, "My Queen would like to know if you were the one who killed the Rhino Emperor?"

"Would you believe me if I said I didn't?" Hong asked.

"On this lake, asides from you, there are no other humans in the vicinity. Who else could have killed it?" the blue robed man laughed coldly. "In addition, you are currently standing on water, showing that you have reached the 'One with World' level!"

The Azure Queen Boa hissed once more, and the blue robed man changed the topic. "However, there was no Dan Formation energy ripple around the Rhino Emperor's body. Could it be that you are yet to reach the Dan Formation stage?"

"If I answered you, will you let me go?" Hong tried to test his luck once more.

"That's impossible." The blue robed man laughed coldly. "You killed one of the Queen's subordinate. If we casually handle this, what would become of the Queen's prestige?"

Hong frowned; he had been utterly disappointed by the shitty luck he had today. Thus, he looked at the blue robed man and yelled, "If that's the case, then enough questions. If you want to battle, then let's battle. If not, then I would be leaving first."

The Azure Queen Boa Queen stared at Hong with piqued curiosity. This little human child who seemed to be only about ten years old wasn't afraid of her at all. But the area around the Rhino Emperor was simply to mysterious.

There clearly weren't any Dan Formation energy remnants there, but how did the Rhino Emperor die? Could someone who isn't even in Dan Formation stage kill a spirit beast of such strength.

Hong sneered and then started to run across the surface of the water, vanishing and reappearing at un-synchronous intervals, but fleeing at high speed.

Although he had come out to adventure and train, he was fully aware of his limits. If he engaged spirit beasts that were too powerful, he would only be seeking death! Hong had never even thought of battling the Azure Queen Boa…

"Voom…" The Azure Queen Boa swam across the surface the lake, transforming into an azure tidal wave. In a blink of an eye, an enormous serpentine head appeared ahead of Min Hong yet again.

"Shit! She's really faster than me!" Hong's face fell as he came to an abrupt halt, then he gazed at the serpent with heated gaze, he was even done running. "It seems this fight cannot be avoided. If that's the case, I will seek your guidance."

"In the entire Soaring Cloud forest, the only one faster than my Queen is that old ghost, the Titan Squid. He is the most powerful spirit beast in this forest. It can obliterate you with one lash!" The blue robed man was walking atop the water with each step generating subtle ripples but he wasn't as graceful as Hong or agile as the Azure Queen Boa. "It is best if you just humbly accept your death sentence before my Queen."

Hong raged, then he left an afterimage behind as he charged at the blue robed man. "You're too lousy and irritating, taste my sword!"

Splash! The blue robed man was so frightened that he dove straight into the water with a splash. He only served the Azure Queen Boa; he only had a 3 percent bloodline purity and was even weaker than the Rhino Emperor. He didn't dare to fight this human boy.

"Hisss." The Azure Queen Boa hissed aggressively, it was truly and utterly enraged at this moment. This human child had been ignoring her the entire time, he even dared to attack her loyal servant right in front of her, after he just killed one of her subordinates! She charged towards Hong instantly.

Hong turned around and faced her, there was no fear in his eyes at all. He was also extremely pissed off by these stupid beasts, acting like they were lords over him. He ignored his fears and ceased hesitating, leaving only a blazing battle intent.

As his raged climbed to its peak, something suddenly broke within Min Hong and a baleful, thick and extremely potent murderous aura erupted from within Min Hong and a strange energy started flowing within his meridians, and he felt something like a shackle break, and his aura started climbing.

Nine Star Qi Creation stage…

One Star Qi Sea stage…

Two Star Qi Sea stage…and kept climbing.

By the time it stopped Min Hong was already at the, 4 Star Qi Sea stage, and not only that, his body strength also seemed to have grown to the, 4 Star King stage. Min Hong could feel the amount of power within himself, but he threw the thought to the back of his mind and looked at the Azure Queen Boa.

"To think that you would end up stimulating my breakthrough. To thank you for that, you'd be the one who would also stabilize it for me." Min Hong arrogantly spoke to the serpent.

As if sensing the arrogance in Hong's words, the massive serpent swung its massive azure scales tail at the arrogant human child before it. The tail emerged at such a speed that before the lake water parted, the tail was already in front of Hong.

It had sensed the murderous aura Min Hong released earlier and it felt truly threatened by it. Then came the increase in cultivation which made her even more weary of Min Hong and lastly was the arrogant statement he just made, which completely pissed her off.

Entitled humans and beasts are always egotistical, and once there's someone challenging that ego, they always fly into rage and try everything in their power to destroy such person. Thus, the Azure Queen Boa didn't even hesitate before attacking with its full strength and even bloodline power.

"So fast!" Hong whose body was still red from the earlier surge in power was caught a little off-guard. But with a thought, sixty dragon tattoos appeared on his skin followed by the eruption of his entire Qi reserve. He fully brought out his cultivation of a 4 Star King stage and Qi Sea stage expert.

After taking a single step, the massive serpent tail smashed into his figure, but the figure rippled like a shadow and vanished.

An afterimage!

Min Hong materialized about 50 metres away and fell into the water, he just broke through and didn't have any control whatsoever on his current power so he fell into the water.

Hissing in defiance, it charged once more and swept its massive tail at Hong once again. Min Hong who could barely follow its movements, not because he was weaker but because he could only control about 10 percent of his total strength at this point.

He wielded both his swords, and with one hand executed 'Eye of the Cyclone'. Then instantly drawing upon the essence of the world. A strong wind kicked up on the spot.

Fwoosh! The Wind raged as a cyclone materialized almost instantly, spinning at an extremely terrifying speed with Min Hong in the 'eye'. Because they were battling on the lake, it then swept up water from the lake, transforming into a cyclone made of water.
