Chapter 133: Battle of the Bigwigs IV
The White Jade body technique of the Visigoth clan was the famed body cultivation technique in the Lunaris city. This technique was at the peak of mortal grade and could be cultivated up to the peak of the foundation building realm. When cultivated, the aura around the cultivator’s body would give a white jade-like hue thus the name and due to prolonged cultivation, the body also starts getting the same color of aura.
The color of the cultivator’s body changes to pale color but since the body of the body path cultivator is usually robust, this color would only add elegance. Frideric Visigoth and Alaric Visigoth pumped their fists with the jade-like aura and circulated their clan’s fist technique, the Rock crushing fist. This technique was not stronger than the Rijal and Ming clan’s martial arts but since it complemented the body cultivation technique of the Visigoth clan, with their immense power, this technique became formidable upon mastery.
In principle, this fist technique contained crushing force and was powered with strength from body cultivators this technique could exert immense damage causing their opponent’s bones to be crushed with one punch but this was only in theory. And there was no one in the Lunaris city who could master this move to the perfection stage. Forget about the perfection stage, even the two Visigoths haven’t reached the mastery stage.
They were just a bit shy of reaching that stage. And without reaching the perfection stage, they wouldn’t be able to use the crushing force as mentioned in the name. The force was a higher concept and even many spirit-grade martial arts didn’t contain it. Forget about the spirit grade technique, very few monstrous geniuses on the golden core formation realm could grasp the concept of force. Even then it was only the first stage of force. As for intent, cultivators in the golden core formation realm can grasp it.
In the Lunaris city, except for Radha who was on the verge of grasping killing intent, no one had come close to touching those ethereal concepts. And this killing intent was not just some generalized term but the real one, even Amrit with all his proficiency in manipulating the killing intent into an armor was still short of realizing the true killing intent. But it was only a matter of time for him. The theory behind the Rock crushing fist was grand but even the creator of this technique may not have realized how difficult it was to grasp the concept of force without reaching the golden core formation realm.
The two Visigoths rushed toward Kumari with their fists full of aura circulating the Rock crushing fist technique. Their pale hands turned even whiter almost like a jade. They looked fragile but the strength contained in them was enough to shatter many rocks. When they reached Kumari, she withdrew her cauldron and made it dance around her effortlessly effectively blocking their punches. Their fists collided with the cauldron and made a ding sound reverberating through the battlefield.
There were shockwaves produced around them but since they were on the air, the ground was not affected. The cauldron shivered for a second due to the vibration but there was no damage visible or otherwise. This cauldron was not from the Rijal clan but it was with her when she came to the clan. No one had asked about it and she hadn’t told about its origin.
The clan member knew that it was a second-grade cauldron but didn’t know its grade or the full capability of the cauldron. The cauldron itself was a rare commodity in Lunaris city and there were only a few in second grade. Not just any weapon crafter could craft a cauldron whether alchemical or battle cauldron. The cauldron Kumari had was both alchemical and could be used for battle.
After two fists of Frideric and Alaric collided with the cauldron, the fire covering it had dispersed a lot of their aura. It was the crimson-hued flame that clung into their fists and rapidly went towards other parts of their body thus consuming more aura to nullify it. Although their aura could recover fast, there was still a limit to how much they could spend at once on the battlefield. They had to reserve some of it in case of emergency.
Their first attack was unsuccessful but they also found out that their attack would create a way for Liu Ming to sneak attack. If the three of them had to assault from the front, they would be in for a pretty bad stalemate but since Liu Ming could hide and sneak attack occasionally, the stalemate would be broken soon. Since they were body path cultivator, one punch from them would be enough to break at least a bone on Kumari’s body.
They stepped back a few meters and regrouped with Liu Ming. Liu Ming was still angry and his eyes were getting redder by the second. Alaric looked at Liu Ming and slapped him on the back of his head saying “Snap out of it. You are in the midst of the battlefield. If you keep acting like this, you will get us all killed.” Although the slap was not hard, it was enough for Liu Ming to wake up. He looked around him in a daze and then looked ahead of him.
His two allies of the Visigoth clan were beside him and in the front was Kumari with the cauldron full of crimson-hued fire circling around her. The cauldron was spewing crimson-hued flame around her body creating a sort of armor-like structure. This was enough to know that her mastery over the manipulation of fire was next level and with her progress in alchemy this was a simple task for her. This was not just any flame armor but one weaved with crimson-hued fire to protect her from the sneak soul attacks.
Although the armor couldn’t fully protect her from the soul attack, it would at least lessen the burden on her consciousness. Every bit of help counts in the battlefield where a moment decides life or death. The three allies gathered and planned for their next attack. They decided to attack her from three sides. Two from the Visigoth clan would attack her from opposite sides and Liu Ming would sneak attack her when he saw a bit of weakness. If he could get one chance to put her in a daze, then the two body path cultivators could land a serious attack on her.
They agreed and started circulating their cultivation techniques and martial arts. This time Alaric attacked Kumari from her right side and Frideric attacked from her left side. Kumari had already finished making a flame armor on her body and she looked like a flaming human. Except for the face, every part was covered in scale-like solid flames. Even her hair was covered in flames.
