The Lake Who Swallows The Moon

Run.

I'm running. I don't know why. All I could remember was someone telling me, Go to the lake that swallows the moon.

It was dark. The clouds cover the moon. I keep running. I could hear the men chasing after me getting near.

"Where is that damn brat? Find her."

I didn't look back and kept running as far as I could from the voices. I reached the lake. There was no moon in the sky but the lake was shining brightly with the moon inside it.

There was no time. I dip my feet in the water slowly. It was cold.
