Genkai says before we begin is there any questions that you have Yusuke says yes but i'd need Koenma here to answer it Koenma appears then says i was barely gone 5 minutes what's up Yusuke says Genkai could have answered this question but i'm not too sure how to ask it or what everything about my new life means just yet Genkai says what's your question Yusuke asks is it possible for someone to see ghosts and be able to use spirit energy?

Genkai says yes it's possible and unlocking their energy will be alot easier than it was to unlock yours Yusuke says my friend Kuwabara has been able to see ghosts since he was born apparently it's getting worse because now he's starting to see monsters like what i did on my first training mission Genkai says bring him here as soon as possible Yusuke asks koenma how long would it take to reach my city from here Koenma closes his eyes then says it will take you 3 days to make it there and back here with your friend Yusuke says okay i'll be back.

Yusuke makes it to his city in a day but he's dog tired he eventually finds Kuwabara and his buddies completely surrounded by every thug from every middle school and high school in Japan Yusuke knocks out a few from behind then walks up to Kuwabara punches him in the head Kuwabara was about to yell at who did that but sees that it's Yurameshi Yusuke says Shizuru is going to kill you if you lose again now lets win this because you and i have business to discuss Kuwabara and his friends nod after that it was just a one sided slughter with Yusuke's side winning.

After the fight Yusuke hands Kuwabara's friends job programs that the middle school and high school offer with that they went home Yusuke took Kuwabara home grabbed his stuff including every homework assignment he's ever been assigned including qizzes and tests from every grade including the one that they just graduated from Yusuke calls for boton who arrives then asks what's up Yusuke he asks can you take kuwabara and me to Genkai's she asks how are you going to pay for this ride Yusuke says i've got you a new student to torture i mean tutor she smirks then takes them to genkai's place.

They get there Kuwabara is impressed by the compound Yusuke says Genkai this is the friend i was telling you about with the ghost problem kuwabara snaps his head to Yusuke then punches him in the face then says i told you that as a secret not just to blab it to everyone Genkai says he didn't he only mentioned it to me because i told him that people with your situation can become powerful warriors or great healers or i can tone down the ghost vision.

Kuwabara asks if i become a warrior will it become worse Genaki says no not at first but once you reach the age of 30 your what you all ghost vision will take on a life of it's own and evolve into something else for some it's super strength others it's enchanced senses for healers it's super vision/x-ray vision and the last one i heard about was to make yourself invisible Kuwabara asks is it possible to tone it down a little and still become a warrior because lately it's been giving me a headache Genaki grabs both Yusuke and Kuwabara takes them into her temple has them take off their shoes and shirts.

They do she paints tons of symbols on them then does a bunch of hand signs and chants some words then touches Yusuke's head his spirirt awareness despite his score is almost 0 she checks Kuwabara's and he has the spirit awareness of 10 people she takes enough for 2 people puts it into Yusuke then takes 6 more away puts it into herself then ends the ritual leaving Kuwabara with the awareness of 2 people she made sure to properly set it up so it wouldn't adversely affect him and make it seem like she only toned it down a little bit instead of drained him by alot.

This ritual also awakened kuwabara's spirit energy with Yusuke's being the catalyst after that she decided to train the two boys she put regular weight seals on Kuwabara then she puts them through the wringer she makes them climb up a mountain with metal balls attached to their feet then she has them use the same balls to do pullups chinups pushups go swimming and fight each other without using their legs next she has them walk on their hands do pushups up side down and finally do crunches while their legs are attached to a metal device in the side of a mountain.

Now that the phycical exercises are over boton takes Kuwabara away to tutor him he protests Yusuke says blame your sister it was her condition on letting you come here Kuwabara hangs his head and goes with Boton Genkai says listen to me kuwabara if you intentially fail at this schooling or try to get out of it just so i'll train you then your training stops here i want atleast a C average or no training from me he nods then goes with Boton Yusuke says nice job his sister has been trying to motivate him for years but no luck.

Genkai smirks then says sometimes you just gotta use the old carrot and stick routine Yusuke says yeah that didn't need to be used on me Genkai says your situation and his are completely different Yusuke says i know so what are doing while he's being tutored because i made sure to cover K-6 she sighs then says i'd rather not have to repeat anything new Yusuke asks can you just give me some pointers then she nods then takes him to where the mountains are then says fire as much as you want there's no animals or people around.

Yusuke charges his spirit gun into his index finger it takes 3 minutes to charge he aims it at the mountain Genkai says don't fire it yet he asks why not she says because i need to grab something he waits she puts a special target on the mountain then says try to hit that target he nods focues more energy into it not realizing he's doing it and his eyes zero in then when he feels his body relax he fires and hits the target but not in center or anywhere close to it she runs down there checks the results then says to herself i knew it.

After that she gave pointers to Yusuke on how to get his spirit gun down to one minute and not take near as much nergy when he fires it also she says meditation will help you control your power better and there's something else that will as well he asks what's that she says i'll be training you to master your senses as well as to enchance them i'll do the same with your speed and strength.

Genkai starts having Yusuke take his spirit energy and put it into each one of his senses one at a time just to see if they can be enchanced beyond what humans can do then go from there it takes awhile but it works meanwhile Kuwabara is progressing nicely in his studies with Boton also she is training him the same way she trained Yusuke except for the police academy they train in this way studying with their respective sensei's in both mental and physical training for 1 month before they decide to spar against each other.

Yusuke is standing in Genkai's courtyard across from Kuwabara Genkai says okay i want a clean fight which means no eye attacks no crotch shots and no killing each other or breaking bones other than that anything goes Yusuke chuckles at how little rules he has to follow Kuwabara is kind of worried because he knows that all of those were meant for Yurameshi but he puts on a front of bravado anyway then he rushes towards Yusuke when the fight is started he throws punch after punch kick after kick with no technique at all Yusuke doesn't use technique either he just blocks everything or parrying it.

Little by little Yusuke starts inroducing a fighting style into the fight which is Karate Kuwabara hasn't learned this from Boton yet so he's surprised at how easily Yurameshi can do it however Kuwabara marches on and tries to prolong the fight but Yusuke ends it with an uppercut knocking Kuwabra out cold Genkai announces Yusuke the winner but scolds him saying that he should have ended it sooner Yusuke says i could have but then he would have learned nothing other than i was stronger than he was which is why i started showing him Karate and i never even had to use more than the basics to win.

Genkai frowns then says we will teach Kuwabara real fighting styles other than street fighting kuwabara who had woken to hear their conversation says good and while we're on the subject why did you hold back Yurameshi i don't just mean your speed or strength but you never even used your energy against me Yusuke says because there was no point i could tell that you have barely any control over it plus your awareness is still too high to be effective in combat as enemies can use that to distract it by summoning ghosts or having you lock onto whatever they want you to and you'll be killed.

Genkai says those are only the best case scenarios of what could happen but we don't have to worry about that as i know how to lower your spirit awareness until your ready for it to progress to the level it's currently at Kuwabara asks will it be painful she says you might have some cramps and some headaches but nothing that will outright hurt you he sighs in relief she takes him to a room to do it in then she does a few hand signs chants a few words draws some symbols around the room and on Kuwabara after taking some of his energy to power the spell his awareness lowers by 75% she makes it that with experience and training his awareness will return back to what it was before this.

after he sleeps for a day he can still see ghosts but his head doesn't hurt anymore when they appear before him and he can now sense Yusuke's energy a little bit as well as his own but he isn't sure how he's doing this so after he gets more awake he asks Genkai about it he says Genkai i have a question two actually she nods he asks is it normal that when i would see ghosts my head would hurt and why does it feel like my energy is weaker than a child's she has a serious expression on her face as her worst fears were confirmed.

Kuwabara's awareness was too powerful for him to handle and now that she has lowered it to a normal level he is able to sense the energies of not just himself but others as well unless it was a defense mechanism so that when he did learn to sense energy his head wouldn't explode when fighting someone powerful Genkai is in the process of teaching Yusuke how to sense energy but Kuwabara can do it naturally Genkai decides to answer Kuwabara she says no it's not normal and the reason is because of the spell i used on you yesterday your body will take a week to adjust to your new awareness so your energy will be lower than normal and kind of sluggish.

He nods then asks will training help me or hurt me she says normally i would say to rest but you actually need to train right through this or your energy supply could be stuck at what it originally was he gulps then nods after she puts him through the wringer by having him use his energy in his muscles as he's doing every workout she gives him also she puts him through the senses training that Yusuke went through while he is doing this Yusuke is learning how to control his energy from Boton so he doesn't use all of in one attack against stronger foes and so he can judge how much energy he puts into each attack.

Despite training for the summer and getting really good gains from the training summer has to end school starts back up they are both in the 7th grade they meet up before school to have breakfast and to go over the schedule that Boton gave them Kuwabara asks what's with this schedule that Boton made for us it's weird we go to school everyday go to this building that you have the directions to then once i get used to my classes you're supposed to send me to another school Yusuke says yes I am you see I work for a detective agency and if you want to work with me then you have to go to the police academy like I did.

Kuwabara is excited once he hears that Yusuke says don't worry about school Boton will help you study like she did me you won't fail and best of all if you pass the police academy your sister will be proud of you especially once you tell her about your job offer here is the folder with all of the information she needs to read as you're a minor she needs to sign a permission slip and pay a 32,000 yen admission fee like Boton did for me Kuwabara nods in understanding then takes the folder puts it in his backpack zips it up he thought the name of the agency was weird though the Akuma Detective Agency Yusuke says it's not open to the public yet as we still need to hire people and do background checks on people who sent in their applications but there's a benefits package included for those who go through detective school.

Kuwabara's ears perk up at the mention of benefits then asks what kind of benefits Yusuke says paid sick days paid holidays paid vacation paid personal days retirement package health insurance life insurance car insurance house insurance company car gas card expense account health savings account and a 50% discount on every restaurant and store across the US Europe and Asia Kuwabara asks can my sister join she's been searching for a job like this since she graduated Yusuke chuckles then asks why do you think the folder is so thick i put in two sets of information so she would see it .

They go to school they have seperate classes after school instead of going with Yusuke Kuwabara heads home instead of doing his homework right away like he usually does he waits for Shizuru to get home which is 30 minutes later she just got home from the store she sees her brother siiting in the kitchen waiting for her she's a little annoyed that he's not doing his homework he says listen you can beat me up later Yurameshi toold me something incredible today that I just had to rush home and tell you about her anger subsides wondering what this is he opens his backpack handing her the folder Yusuke gave him.

She reads the title Akuma Detective Agency in her head weird title but she opens it sees two sets of the same information one marked Kuwabara in (for idoit) she chuckles the second it says for Sis she smiles then reads hers it tells what her duties are :

She chuckles at some of her duties then when she sees her benefits she nearly has a heart attack she asks her brother what's the catch kuwabara says you have to go through the police academy and detecive school although idk how much it costs for that she reads the total cost including tax it's 200,000 yen for both schools and it can take up to 4 years depending on the student Kuwabara says Yurameshi took his time and completed the police academy in 3 years when he could have done it in half of the time shizuru asks did he have a tutor Kuwabara says yes he does her name is Boton she's been tutoring him since elementary school.

Shizuru asks if i paid her would she tutor me Kuwabara says yes she would just tell her what your goals are first before you seek her out Kuwabara gives Shizuru Boton's number she calls Boton who answers Shizuru asks is this Boton she says yes may I ask who's calling sorry to just call randomly but my brother Kuwabara gave me your number and I was wondering if you were available to be hired as a tutor Boton says yes I am but what were you hoping to be tutored in Shizuru says my brother brought home information from the detective agency and there's requirements about how I need to graduate from the police academy and the detecive one to work there.

Boton says i can help you graduate from both but what is your goal Shizuru says i'm aiaming for 2-4 years for both schools if that's possible Boton says anything is possible but you must understand even if you didn't have a job which from what Yusuke tells me you do and even if we studied every weekend which means that you would lose your second job even if you did everything I said and trained everyday after work so you could pass the physical parts as well as the written it would still take you 3 years to pass everything Shizuru says that's fine with me Boton sighs then says we will meet tomorrow after school and work to go over everything and one more thing your brother is interested in this job as well I hope that won't be a problem.

Shizuru nods as they talk to set up the meeting for tomorrow she hangs up the phone then looks at her brother then asks when were you going to tell me that you wanted this job too Kuwabara says after your phone call why did I do something wrong she sighs then says no you didn't he says I thought you would be proud of me for seeking out a job like this she says I am but you still have plenty of time to think about what you want to be when you grow up Kuwabara snorts then says that's not what you'll be saying in 3 years she asks what do you mean he says Yurameshi told me that once I reach 10th grade you'll be hounding me to figure out what I wanna be when I grow up and what kind of schools I wanna go to after high school.

She waves him off then makes dinner while he goes to his room to do homework while in her head she's cursing Yusuke for telling her brother something that he shouldn't have to worry about yet but she knows that Yusuke isn't wrong in 3 years she will be doing that stuff she just wishes that sometimes he wasn't so smart then maybe her brother wouldn't have a leg to stand on in their arguments because anymore all he has to do is quote Yusuke and he wins which annoys her to no end however she's used Yusuke to win quite a few arguments here lately ever since they bonded a few years ago.

She agreed with Yusuke to go to Genkai's place to train because Yusuke took her to see her brother fight with his friends and she had to admit it was painful to watch even for street fighting he was worse than a child he had no form or aim at all he was like a wild animal barreling his way through a bunch of trees hoping to hit a bush after that day Shizuru would often spar with her brother to better help his horrible aim and lousy technique as did Yusuke their parents were reknowned martial artists before they got married and settled down he was a boxer/kickboxer she was famous for judo.

They both died in a car accident after Kuwabara was born from a drunk driver luckily they kept records of both of their fighting styles shizuru has been teaching Kuwabara their father's style along with some judo throws and Yusuke has taught him the basics of karate after going through the police academy Kuwabara's complete style will resemble Paul Pheonix's from Tekken and Ken's from Street Fighter mixed together once he has mastered everything and learned the kenpo fighting style but for now he isn't capable of a fighting style that complex so he will just use kickboxing and boxing mixed together.

Dinner is made they have dinner togther Shizuru asks do you really want this job he says yes I do plus Yurameshi says that the comapny hasn't opened yet as they still need to hire people and he told me that at first the pay won't be that good until they start getting clients but says to tell you that starting pay will be 1300 yen an hour then it will go up to 5000 yen an hour she almost drops her fork after she heard that then asks how will they afford that Kuwabara says idk they go by case by case basis whatever that means and they get paid per client they also have a standard fee per case no matter what it is.

She asks what's the fee he says it's 4000 yen per case no matter what it is she can't believe how cheap that is Kuwabara says according to Yurameshi they're never going to raise it or lower it as they need to cover the cost of the renovation of the building that they just did she nods in understanding she opens the folder again looks at a chart that has several other detecive agencies on it along with their prices:

Shizuru chuckles at the marketing campaign done with the graph and the chart she can tell that Yusuke had a hand in making it as it's too simplistic for someone well versed in marketing to have made it but it does catch the essence of what he wants to say and the numbers are quite accurate as she's heard her friends from work complain about how expensive these detecive agencies are she looks at her brother then says take me to this building tomorrow after school and we'll see about joining it once we have more information he nods she says i'm not saying no it's just I don't want to give up my current jobs if this turns out to be a hoax he nods in understanding.

Then asks would Yurameshi really try to trick us she says no he wouldn't but the people in chrage would trick him thinking that he wouldn't look any further it happens all the time i know how smart he is but once he trusts someone his instincts go away and his scepticle nature takes a back seat it's why he quit follwing me everywhere i went to make sure that I wasn't hurting you Kuwabara says I had no idea he did that she chuckles then says at first neither did I until he confronted me one day once he caught me gambling after a rough day after work Kuwabara says i don't care that you gamble I never have as long as you don't lose.

She smirks then says thanks alot little bro but it was kind of funny seeing a kid teeling me that I bet on the wrong number when playing roulette and that when I was playing blackjack that I should have stayed and on another hand I should have hit the dealers got annoyed when i started taking his advice and won 50,000 yen they took us to a back room the owner asked him how he was doing it Yusuke wasn't paying attention to him he was looking at the security camera screens then just randomly said that dealer just cheated that player out of money then pointed to another screen then said this dealer just used loaded dice the owner rewound the tapes and sure enough he was right everything that Yusuke pointed out to me and to the owner was right so I was allowed to keep my winnings on the condition that Yusuke work for the Casinos once a month.

Kuwabara asks if his eyes are that good how come he never gambles Shizuru says by law he's not allowed to in Asia only in the US is he allowed to gamble Kuwabara asks what about Europe Shizuru says they don't know about him yet Asia is keeping it that way until they unleash him onto the US and clean out their casinos then frighten them with him to negotiate some kind of deal that will benefit all 3 continents Kuwbara nods then asks what about his winnings she says according to Yusuke it will be returned as a good faith gesture what they want is the fear factor that he can clean them out anytime he wants without any tricks or cheating.
