The King of Black Fog

Chapter 197 boy!!_2

The other two demon hunters from the sorcerer schools, Wusi had lost a thigh, and Ismei had a broken arm.

Dan Xi, Endi, and Abram of the Combat Martial Tower had a new line of blood on their bodies—Endi was turning his head to speak to Dan Xi at the moment, so his bloodline wasn't centered over his brow, nose tip, chest, or groin.

They weren't badly hurt, and the horses beneath them were only split open at the front, becoming a "Y"-shaped fountain gushing innards and fresh blood.

"Enemy attack!" the leading demon hunter drew his sword from his waist.

The sword's light whirled around, and as the silver blade sparked, an invisible spider faintly materialized above them.

The spider's legs were thin and long, like bamboo poles, with knife-sharp feet—it was these legs that had sliced like blades towards all the demon hunters at the forefront.

Li Qianxia appeared half a meter to the right of her original position.

All this happened in the blink of an eye.

Her slender, agile legs pushed slightly off the ground, propelling her towards the church's carriage behind her.

With her right hand, she tore off the cumbersome cloak around her, and her left hand opened, beginning to summon the "Mosquito Style Blood-sucking Gun".

Her steps ground in place, shielding the carriage front. The Horned Robe tied around her neck dissolved, transforming into Blood-colored Armor.

A golden "Holy Domain" spread out beneath her feet.

She looked up at the towering spider and said, "Qing Lan, are you okay?"

The carriage curtains were drawn back, and Yang Qinglan, dressed as a nun, stepped out.

Behind her were two other nuns, one aged forty-two and the other fourteen.

Yang Qinglan first glanced at Li Qianxia to ensure she was unharmed, able to report back to Li Changzhou, then turned her gaze to the spider trying to revert to its invisible state.

The fourteen-year-old nun clung to the forty-two-year-old nun's sleeve in fear, while the latter said to Yang Qinglan:

"Lan, that's a Hidden Blade Spider, capable of invisibility. Its legs are sharp and sturdy; even the demon hunters' swords are useless against them. They can slice any accidentally colliding human or animal into two just by standing still."

The spider's glass-like form slowly vanished again.

The Blood-colored Steel Spear materialized in Li Qianxia's anticipating hand, its base connecting to the blood vessels in her wrist.

She twirled a spear flourish and asked, "Shall we kill it?"

"No rush." Yang Qinglan held back, observing this era's United States.

The leading demon hunter's right hand held a silver sword, left hand pulling from his trouser's belt pouch the eye of a newborn calf,

That armored left hand squeezed hard, bursting the calf's eye and splashing its fluids onto the spider's legs.

The Hidden Blade Spider disappeared, except for the parts stuck with the calf eye's juice, which remained imprinted on everyone's retinas.

The two surviving demon hunters from the sorcerer schools, Wusi with the missing thigh, grabbed a horse's leg and pressed it against his own, retreating backward with one human leg and one horse leg, back-to-back with Ismei as they drew their silver swords.

Ismei, with a broken arm, drew his silver sword while chanting.

The arm on the ground, its muscles coiling out like threads of "blood silk", began to reweave itself into his constantly bleeding stump.

Their eyes were both cold and tinged with fear as they looked around.

Dozens of blood-stained corpses were staggering towards them, their putrid flesh pressing in from the left side of the path!

However, Yang Qinglan's gaze shifted to the right side of the path, where she saw a woman ghost in a black dress, with long black hair, pale face, and no features.

"What is this?" she asked.

"It's—"

The nun with the distressing expression hadn't finished speaking when the sound of a galloping stallion came from behind.

A muscular black centaur with a huge axe charged forward.

Strands of blue lightning entwined around the gigantic axe.

"Charge!" Dan Xi, Endi from the Combat Martial Tower, their silver swords flaring with flames, rushed towards the oncoming centaur.

The mighty axe of the centaur cleaved down like the splitting of heavens, but the two crossed silver swords caught it between.

"Aaaah!!!" Both the horse and the two men roared simultaneously.

Lightning and flames collided with a tremendous boom, exploding into twin spheres of light.

Another demon hunter from the Combat Martial Tower, Abram, had his silver sword surrounded by a hazy halo, as he charged into the crowd of the Living Dead.

The two demon hunters from the sorcerer schools continued to chant, casting enhancement Spell Patterns onto Abram's form.

Abram slew a Living Dead with one strike, turning into a puff of black ash, rising a wisp of green smoke, reminiscent of Nagasaki's citizens instantly vaporized by a nuclear bomb.

Three other Living Dead that bit at him were pushed away by the Light Shields of the sorcerer schools' demon hunters.

The two demon hunters from the spider academy, along with their leader, tumbled, dodged, parried, and used their silver swords to slide off the feet in the repeated attacks "kicked out" by the Hidden Blade Spider.

They each clutched a calf's eye, attempting to "dye" whenever a spider leg kicked near them while evading at the same time.

With their roles clear, then—

Yang Qinglan once again set her sights on the featureless ghost woman in the black dress.

She raised a hand, and a Thorns shot out, piercing through the body of the black-dress ghost woman.

Physics are likely ineffective.

"Illusionary Hearing"! "Illusion"!

"Ha ha…hee hee…" The woman in the black dress let out a laugh that seemed so surreal it might have been a delusion.

To a ghost, illusions of hearing and sight seemed to be a joke. The woman in the black dress appeared delighted, drawing even closer, eager to kill.

This was troublesome.

If Li Changzhou were here, they might try the Black Death God to see if the opponent was a spirit, since both she and Li Qianxia dealt in physical attacks.

"Evangelical Skill" had no Attack Skills... Wait.

Yang Qinglan watched the slowly approaching black-dress ghost woman—who hadn't launched an attack from beginning to end, fearing the "Holy Domain" perhaps?
