Wen Carol laughed briefly, her voice tinged with a sense of suffocation.

She patted Li Changzhou's hand still clutched around her neck, signaling him to let go.

Li Changzhou released his grip. The other party was composed in the face of danger, and he was equally calm.

"Di'en sent me here," Wen Carol rubbed her neck.

"What's the reason for this delay?" Yang Qinglan asked again.

"How did you know we would go to Pela Town?" Turquoise Pool voiced the confusion in her heart.
