The enraged whale, twisting its body in a flip, moved like slow motion in a movie due to its immense size.

The overwhelming force of a river overturning the sea, Zhu Xiongjie effortlessly dodged.

"Woo!" The partly restored basket star, with its arms sweeping wildly, brought with it strands of chill as it lashed toward the gunboat.

The gunboat fired haphazardly twice, blowing away some of the arms, but the remaining ones still fell towards the gunboat.

As the gunboat looked set to sink, Li Changzhou saw Zhu Xiongjie remaining calm and unhurried.

A navy officer sprinted across the deck, rushed to the railing, fiercely stepped on it, and leaped into the air, transforming into a human cannonball.

The seawater beneath the gunboat spurted out, forming jets of water around the navy officer.

"Attack!" Chun Emperor commanded sharply.

"Now?" Li Qianxia was taken aback.

Yang Qinglan's eyes turned blue, Zhu Xiongjie stumbled, falling from the arm into the sea ablaze.

Zhu Xiongjie flipped, directing his gathered strength towards the sea with a palm, flames meeting the water, and steam billowed.

He used the recoil to head towards the basket star's body.

Just about to land on a sturdy arm, another pull came from behind, but this time he was prepared, his legs powered him, his toes gripped, and he managed to stand firm!

A putrid stench hit them as the gargantuan whale lurking at the bottom of the ocean opened its gaping maw, resembling a bottomless abyss that swallowed Li Changzhou and the basket sea star whole.

"Brother—"

The gunship crashed down, waves soared, and Yang Qinglan, looking toward Li Changzhou, hoisted him high!

At the same time, she couldn't control her own impulse to jump down.

The whale's teeth closed, emitting a crushing sound, and darkness engulfed everything.
