The King of Black Fog

Chapter 143 Remedies

Li Changzhou's face darkened.

After the battle of Prague, all players knew white card had won, and he had proven to Zheng Qing afterwards that he was black card.

The fact that he owned both white and black cards was exposed—at least the Special Warfare Bureau definitely knew!

The only consolation was that 'master' was also considered to be a black card, so it wasn't easy to link it to him.

But he still needed to be careful...

Li Changzhou glanced at the waiting hall. Among the dozens of players present, some had no reaction, some laughed at Xiao Yue's words, some pondered, some had sudden realizations, and immediately looked incredulously at him.

Master Huang pinched his goatee, looking from shocked to dumbfounded.

As someone who worked with the Special Warfare Bureau, after the lecture, due to Li Changzhou's genius performance, he had inquired about his intelligence. It was indeed black card, the one who had once saved a member of the Special Warfare Bureau in the desert.

So how did it become white card?

Real-life Prague was still in chaos, all because the white card player had won, and the game had issued nearby white card players the mission to 'destroy Prague'.

Some of these people, even imitating the champion player, started fires all around Prague.

Li Qianxia stood by Li Changzhou's side, lips pursed as she observed everyone in the hall with a chilling gaze.

Now, the only way to lock down the news was to keep these people in the instance forever.

Yang Qinglan pondered.

If the Special Warfare Bureau knew, they would either try to recruit or destroy.

Recruitment was fine, and destruction wasn't feared either. Not to mention the 'Honey Pot World' prepared for this very reason, 'Photo Transmission' could also handle the crisis with ease.

But either option would disrupt the lives of the three of them. Some people, both domestically and internationally, would not act as if nothing had happened.

It seems that after the instance ends, they needed to go back to Qing Lan Bookstore immediately and move all the books out.

Also, the apricot tree in her own yard, the one she had once swung on as a child, had to be moved into the 'Honey Pot World' as well.

Half of her thoughts were focused on these things, while the other half was filled with doubt—did Xiao Yue, as an official game player, have the right to casually leak players' intelligence?

At that moment.

"Mm!" From the broadcast, came Xiao Yue's muffled voice.

Then a quiet one followed: "...Finish!"

"The instance is about to begin, please get on the train in order," Xiao Yue suddenly announced.

The tightly closed doors of the train suddenly slid open.

"Don't be distracted, think about these things in the instance, there'll be plenty of time," Yang Qinglan whispered to the siblings.

"I'm not in a hurry, what's there for me to worry about?" Li Changzhou laughed.

It was just someone influencing his sister, Yang Qinglan.

"Brother..." Li Qianxia called out softly.

She knew her brother well—the more he acted as if nothing mattered, the angrier he was inside. If he had a stern face, it proved that the matter was not that serious.

"Let's go," Li Changzhou walked towards the carriage.

Players were already boarding. Not everyone cared about the battle of Prague, who was black card, and who was white card.

Especially some ocean-type players, who thought that everything on land was just trivial nonsense, just primitive people amusing themselves.

When boarding, Xiao Yue in her flight attendant's uniform stood at the door of the train.

Li Changzhou acted as if nothing had happened and walked in, but Xiao Yue suddenly reached out and grabbed him, whispering quickly into his ear:

"I'll come to your room later, I need to talk to you!"

"Sure," Li Changzhou smiled, "I was actually looking for you, too."

Xiao Yue's expression was as serious as it had never been before, but even so, when she saw Li Changzhou, Li Qianxia, and Yang Qinglan, she still swallowed hard.

If she could sleep with the three of them, she would die happy... but she feared she'd die before even getting to sleep!

Inside the train wasn't the layout of a regular bullet train, but rather table after table, where players without cabin tickets could sit anywhere.

They could also order meals and enjoy delicacies from all over the world, with no time limit—this 'time' meant past, present, and future.

The first main dish was "human's first barbecue."

Under the fried egg category, there were dinosaur eggs, and among the roasted wings, there were Wind God Pterosaur wings.

That was more or less the kind of menu they had.

Each table was covered with a tablecloth, a menu placed on it, a slender-necked bottle standing at the centre, a sprig of fresh flowers inserted within.

Li Changzhou and the others moved past these common carriages, along the narrow window-side aisle, and into their own cabin.

Sofa, dining table, bathroom, toilet, and a big bed that could fit five people.

The window was one large piece, and the dining table was just beside the window, allowing them to enjoy the scenery along the way while eating.

Had it not been for the incident in the waiting hall, Li Qianxia would have excitedly thrown herself onto the bed rolling around by now. Instead, she was quiet and said nothing.

Li Changzhou reached out and tossed her onto the bed.

"What are you doing?" Li Qianxia lay on the bed, looking up at him in surprise.

"Don't look so down," Li Changzhou scolded her lightly, "It's not that serious, if we can't beat them, can't we still run away? I'll keep you company on trips around the world every day."

"I wasn't the one who looked down first," Li Qianxia muttered, grabbing a pillow to hold in her arms, and burying herself in the bed.

A second later, her legs started kicking up and down as if she were a carp struggling.

Suddenly, she turned her face towards the others and said, "What should I do, I'm so excited!"

Yang Qinglan asked her with slight hesitation, "...are you excited about being tossed on the bed by your brother?"

"Huh?" Li Qianxia was momentarily confused, "Qing Lan, what are you talking about? I meant traveling! Traveling all over the world! And no need to go to school anymore! Where should we go first? Right, I remember there's something from National Geographic, 'the forty places one must visit in a lifetime'!"
