The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 493: Worse Than Death

Lin Tian and Wu Yong also got out of the car this time.

The two of them against three others, and Wu Yong was of average build, while Lin Tian was taller but looked too thin, as if he had no strength.

The three people in front of them were all wearing vests, their developed muscles tightly outlined, not only with eight-pack abs, but also with bulging muscles on both shoulders, with small protrusions on their chests that made one feel a wave of disgust.

This lineup looked clearly unbalanced.

Three big oafs VS two skinny monkeys.

Standing in the middle of the three was a man with a dark face and yellow teeth, nicknamed: Black Dog.

Black Dog looked at the two, grinning, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth, and said, "That drift just now was cool, but parking the car in the middle of the road is going a bit too far, isn't it?"

Black Dog's character was explosive, but he was a meticulous person, having served in the army and taken bullets. He knew his task was to follow these two people, and even though they might have realized it, he wouldn't act without understanding the situation.

Lin Tian and Wu Yong exchanged a look, both somewhat speechless.

Wu Yong glanced disdainfully at Black Dog, laughing, "What, still playing the good guy, huh? You followed us all the way, looking to rob us or something else? Stop pretending you don't know."

As expected. Black Dog thought silently. Then he laughed, "Alright, since you've figured it out, are you planning to fight? I'd advise you two to eat more and put on some weight before acting so cocky."

Having said that, Black Dog instructed the two on his sides, "Go, Wolf Cub, Hero, get the stuff out of the trunk."

"Got it." The two agreed, then glanced at Lin Tian and laughed.

Lin Tian and Wu Yong didn't move, wondering what good it'd be once they brought out their weapons, wouldn't it still end in a beatdown?

Soon, Wolf Cub and Hero returned with three iron baseball bats.

The three baseball bats had dried blood on them, clearly from previous fights, left uncleaned for intimidation purposes.

"So kid, scared now?" The burly man nicknamed Wolf Cub laughed, though his face contorted as he did.

"What's there to be scared of with baseball bats?" Lin Tian sneered.

Simultaneously, his hand moved to his waist, drawing a silvery-gray handgun and disengaging the safety. Black Dog and his team's faces turned grim, their smiles frozen.

How could he have a gun on him?

This gun was given to him by Bai Shishi for self-defense. Both Bai Shishi and Mei Ruyan had recently started practicing shooting, as otherwise, they'd have no self-preservation skills.

Lin Tian also had a Black Dragon knife given by Bai Shishi, extremely sharp, but usable only a few times.

Lin Tian was considering having some hidden weapons made, such as throwing darts, which would be extremely handy for self-protection.

Lin Tian's lips curved into a cold smile as he aimed at the front wheel of the MINI and squeezed the trigger.

With a 'bang,' the tire deflated instantly.

"So kid, scared now?" Wu Yong chuckled, repeating Wolf Cub's earlier words. At the same time, another black pistol appeared in his hand, the safety off, aimed and waved at the three of them.

Black Dog and his friends dared not act arrogantly anymore, hurriedly throwing down the baseball bats, smiling ingratiatingly, "Brothers, it's all a misunderstanding, be careful, don't accidentally shoot."

"Afraid of an accidental shot? It's not like it would hit me. Actually, I'm curious about how it feels. How about I give you a shot, and you describe the feeling to me?"

Lin Tian aimed his handgun at Black Dog, treating him like a live target.

"No, no, no, don't joke. Quickly put the gun away, alright?" Black Dog's smile was like crying; he never expected the other side to pull out a gun so directly.

"You're sent by the Wang Family, right?" Lin Tian asked.

Black Dog hesitated for a few seconds, then nodded, "Yes."

Under the roof, one has to bow.

"Do you want to kill me or find Mr. Wang?"

"Of course, we want to find Mr. Wang. We don't want to fight you either," Wolf Cub said ingratiatingly.

Having obtained the answer he wanted, Lin Tian nodded in satisfaction and said to Wu Yong, "Yongzi, put away the gun. Do you remember what we talked about in the car just now?"

Wu Yong was startled, then nodded excitedly. What did they talk about in the car?

First beat these stalkers like grandsons, then smash up their car.

Recently, Wu Yong had been secretly developing some underground influence, getting quite familiar with this sort of thing, and he developed a liking for 'violent' activities.

Putting the gun back in its place, Lin Tian lunged forward, followed closely by Wu Yong.

In truth, these small-time thugs were just trifling clowns in Lin Tian's eyes, not worth getting into a big fight.

However, there's an old saying on the Celestial Dragon Continent: 'Before beating a dog, check who its owner is.'

Their owner was Wang Daoran. They would hit his dogs today and him tomorrow.

Seeing Lin Tian and Wu Yong actually holster their guns, Black Dog and his friends were overjoyed, exchanging glances before lunging at them like starving wolves.

Without guns, they were confident they could take Lin Tian down instantly.

But would the result be as they wished?

When Lin Tian saw the three rushing at them, he had already gathered Spiritual Qi in his hands, which was done in just a breath's time.

Black Dog threw a punch, Wolf Cub a roundhouse kick, and Hero swung a baseball bat down.

Lin Tian's chest, crotch, and head—all vital targets—were locked in their sights.

As long as they hit one spot, Lin Tian would be down instantly, possibly even facing fatal injuries.

Their coordination was perfect, but in Lin Tian's eyes, their speed was still too slow.

Their speed was even less than that of those running dogs from Sakula Country, so how could they be a match for Lin Tian?

In their eyes, Lin Tian's speed was too fast; his body swayed left and right, dodging all attacks. Meanwhile, both his hands had already tapped on their chests yet caused no sensation of pain.

Hero laughed, "Kid, speed's good, but you don't seem to have any power."

Lin Tian shook his head dismissively, "Is that so? You're too naive. Try feeling it yourselves."

Their brows furrowed, and suddenly, a sharp pain spread across their chests, feeling like countless bees stinging them.

Both painful and itchy, yet the source was unknown. In just three seconds, all three collapsed to the ground, gasping heavily, drenched in cold sweat.

If they had to describe it, it would be: worse than death.

The pain was excruciating, to the point where they would rather die than endure such anguish.
