Knossos City, the home of the God of Stove.

The Gorgon Sisters, Hestia, and Luo En, all looked at the Golden Hound squatting on the ground in the living room, with its big eyes trying to appear endearing, and fell into a strange silence.

"Woof?"

Finding the staring uncomfortable after a while, the dog whimpered and, with its tongue hanging out, dashed towards its master, trying to snuggle up as usual. Its sharp claws, like knives through tofu, scratched marks on the hard rocky floor.

"Stop!"

Seeing this, Luo En's expression changed slightly; he sternly ordered the dog to halt and subconsciously took a step back.

Upon hearing its master's command, the Golden Hound forcefully stopped its running and could only sit down dejectedly and let out a sorrowful whimper.

However, it soon turned its gaze to the two old acquaintances who bared their teeth at it every day and then shifted its target, charging towards Stheno and Euryale, who were off to the side.

"Aaaaah! Don't come here!"

In that instant, the two fearless Gorgon Sisters were scared out of their wits, screaming with their eyes closed and each grabbing one of Luo En's arms, using him as a human shield to firmly place in front of them.

Feeling the immense strength that was about to twist his arms and the dog face growing larger before his eyes, Luo En, unable to dodge, let out an angry and resentful curse.

Beast!

Yet it was unclear whether that accusation was meant for the dog being too human-like or the humans being too dog-like.

"Bang!"

Finally, the dog got its wish, happily crashing into its master's arms and excitedly knocking him down.

From Luo En's chest came the sound of bones cracking under the strain.

"Woof woof!"

After that, the dog let out a joyful whimper, sticking out its tongue intending to lick its master's face, living up to its label as a devoted lickspittle.

"Shut up!"

Luo En firmly covered the dog's mouth, displaying a diehard attitude.

Although he had washed the dog inside and out more than a dozen times since that night, the scene of it swallowing Poseidon's "beef ball" was still vivid in his memory.

Therefore, every time he saw the dog open its mouth, he felt as if he could smell the fishy scent from the ocean and felt nauseated.

As for being kissed by that dog mouth...

Luo En thought about it and couldn't help shivering, feeling a sudden chill.

"Get back! Sit down!"

Finally, under the stern command of his master, the Golden Hound had to end the affectionate display and obediently got off its master, sitting back down dejectedly.

Originally, Poseidon, in every way inferior to Zeus, had a slim chance of competing for the supreme authority of Olympus.

Now, having unexpectedly lost half of his paternal rights and becoming a lopsided warrior, Poseidon's path to being the Divine King was completely shattered.

It's hard to imagine what sort of retaliation that crazed lord of the sea might undertake because of this.

Rubbing his slightly painful temples, Luo En glanced towards the empty chair across from him.

To avoid Poseidon's desperate measures, Athena immediately went to Olympus to level accusations after the battle at the temple.

—Poseidon had unilaterally torn up the truce, secretly sneaked onto Crete Island, intending to assault her priestess and Divine Envoy in her Great Temple!

Three days have already passed since then.

Everyone at home was anxiously waiting for the outcome.

And when Luo En looked outside the door for what seemed like the umpteenth time, a dazzling streak of golden light finally plummeted in front of the door, transforming into a familiar form.

The Gorgon Sisters and Hestia by the side, knowing what was proper, went about their respective tasks, moving tables or serving tea and snacks adeptly.
