Chapter 9: Are you seeing him?
Throughout the day, the idea of Silas asking me out lingered in my mind. Unexpected as it was, I had no intention of causing another scandal after resolving the current one. I must politely decline, perhaps citing a committed relationship as my reason. Although Silas is a good person, my heart belongs to someone else. Being honest with him at the right time is the best course of action. Therefore, I decided to talk to him after work.
When the workday ended, I went up to him. He appeared to realize that I wanted to discuss his unexpected admission earlier that day. Now focusing on Rachel and Mr. Williams, both returned from Lyon's office looking nervous. Mr. Williams summoned me to his office and apologized, leaving me curious about Lyon's words that made them so fearful. Rachel, too, couldn't meet my gaze when she apologized. I'm sure they were wondering about me, Alicia, a girl endorsed by the CEO.
Both Silas and I left the office together, heading towards the reception and the exit door. "I have to tell you something, Silas. I'm in a committed relationship," I said apologetically. Silas laughed, "Looks like my luck has run out." I smiled, finding him charming. After finishing work, we discussed office gossip openly. When we reached outside, Silas waited with me until I got a cab before we said goodbye.
I was already heading out when my phone made a notification sound, glancing at it, I saw a message from Lyon. Memories flooded back of our time spent together, his closeness and his intoxicating scent. Feeling a sudden desire, I remembered his touch on my body. Opening his message that asked 'Are you seeing him?', I paused, trying to understand his question. Oh, I gasped and quickly covered my mouth, had he noticed me talking to Silas? Did he send me this text for that reason? I chuckled, thinking I should clarify things, so I replied to him saying 'No, Lyon, I am not dating him, he is just my coworker.' I hope it sounds convincing. When I see him again, we should talk about some things like if I am not allowed to see anyone when we're not dating. He said it himself, it's strictly sex.
He quickly replied to me saying 'let's have a conversation, I'll come over to your place', it appeared that he was feeling envious, I never expected him to be envious of his casual sex partner, but he was, maybe seeing me with Silas brought back a past memory, so I responded 'sure, I'll be waiting for you'.
After arriving home, I quickly tidied up my house, showered, and had a meal. I also drank some juice to be ready for any busy activities for when he'll be here. I made sure to look presentable while waiting for Lyon to arrive.
He asked me to spend the upcoming weekend with him, but I declined because I had already committed to visiting my grandparents. I have put off seeing them for too long and I genuinely miss them a great deal. I am eagerly looking forward to seeing them.
A few minutes later, his car stopped in front of my house and his driver opened the door for him as he approached my door. I watched from my window as he walked towards me, wondering if he noticed me and if the only reason why he is here was about Silas. I wondered about jealousy, how someone could feel that because of me. When he rang the bell, I answered and opened the door, raising my head to get a good look at his face. Wow, he is incredibly handsome, towering over me by a head and a half. Not that I'm short, but he is just so tall. I used to think my dad was the tallest man I knew, but I was mistaken - not even Silas is as tall as him.
I gestured for him to enter, and he complied, exploring my home where he had only previously dropped me off. I asked, "What inspired you to make the journey?" Pretending not to know, he turned to face me directly, the frown on his face disappeared, and now his expression is one of desire, "just by seeing you, I've forgotten why I came here" his intentions are unclear as he pulls me closer by the waist, "you and he didn't look like mere colleagues to me, not the way he looked at you" Silas probably has a crush on me, but I wouldn't admit it to this grumpy man "oh, really? I didn't realize," he smiled, then turned serious, "I don't like what's mine wandering off with someone else" did he just claim me as his? "I wasn't out with someone else, he accompanied me and arranged for a cab," I mention he didn't appear happy with my response so I decide to shift the topic. "Speaking of which, what were your actions towards Williams and Miss Lopez?" He frowned slightly and said, "You're trying to divert the topic, but I'll tell you anyway. I informed them that you and I have a relationship. If they talk about it, they'll lose more than just their jobs. They know better than to defy me." He looks intimidating now; I definitely won't betray him.
"Hmm, it's no surprise they appeared scared. You didn't come all this way just for Silas, did you?" He frowned once more. "You're on a first-name basis with him now?" Oh he seems to be upset about it, "he was the only one who was kind to me when I first started working, so we naturally became close, don't think too much about it," I said, calming down slightly before mentioning, "that guy has feelings for you, I could tell by how he looks at you, but if you don't reciprocate, that's fine. I just don't like how comfortable you are with him." Understanding his past with his ex Mia, I realized he had trust issues. I empathized, thinking I would feel the same. "Alright, if you say so," I replied as he then kissed me.
His kiss was so intense, it felt like he was urging me to reciprocate. Despite having just been intimate that morning, his passion made it seem like a brand new experience. Surprisingly, I found myself desiring more, as I have already experienced the pleasure of sex and enjoyed it immensely.
I was wearing a t-shirt when he lifted the hem, grabbed my butt, and kissed me. I moaned as he touched me, then he removed my shirt to reveal nothing underneath. He smiled with lust, admiring the marks from our past encounters. He kissed me again, exploring every part of my body, making me weak in the knees. He lifted me, my legs wrapped around him as he carried me. "Lead the way to the room, Alicia," he says, breathless.
