Silas said as he threw caution to the wind and started burning his life force to deliver even more destructive attacks, in hope to stop the Blade mages.
The mages of the Blade clan were pure-blood battle path mages, always skilled in combat.
When facing mages from this clan, it's either you go all out or don't even start the fight at all, as they were all battle maniacs.
Since Silas was loyal to his job, he was hell-bent on getting Aurora out of danger's way, even if it meant that he had to die for that to be possible.
That is why he was burning his life force, to give her a way out.
"No, Grandpa Silas, I can't leave you!"
Aurora argued as she jumped back into battle with the mage that she had been contending against.
The mage had a slight smirk on his face as he raised his sword and dashed towards her, sending two fast swings as sword light flew towards Aurora , to which she responded by
punching her hand out twice, sending two huge Flaming punches rushing towards the two sword light that rushed towards her, the both attack canceled out each other in the air and Aurora counted how many more steps she needed to close down on him.
Just as she was getting towards the perfect range she loved attacking and throwing combos, she heard a voice that was spoken to her directly.
It was almost as if the person was next to her but at the same time very far away.
"Take his advice and escape!"
the voice said, and Aurora looked perplexed as she moved back, not closing down on the mage from the Blade clan like she originally intended to.
Even the mage from the Blade clan was quite surprised that she had missed such a good opportunity to get a hit on him.
At first, he thought she was just preparing a feint, but after raising his great sword up in a defensive stance and seeing she made no move, he realized that something must have been wrong somewhere as he stared at Aurora.
"Don't act surprised, No one must know, Someone is intervening in your fights. This is me, Aurora. Don't tell me you forgot my voice so quickly. Well, it's me, Samuel, the Grand Elder of the Gordons clan."
" Fortunately, we had trailed you," the voice continued,
"And that is how we found out that you are under attack. Please, right now, just go along with the plans of your enforcer bodyguard, and don't worry, we would be able to save him."
The voice talked to her once more in her mind, and she was really sure that it was Samuel Gordons , the one normally termed as the Grand Elder.
'How sure are you that you can rescue Grandpa Silas,' Aurora thought,
not wanting to talk and alert the mages from the Blade clan, praying that hopefully, the Grand would be able to read her thoughts too.
"Don't worry, We have a 70% assurance that we can rescue him, You just have to run and make it seem that you are leaving him without backup," the voice assured her.
The Grand Elder sent another voice into her head, shocking her seriously as she would have never thought that he was able to read her thoughts.
"I was not reading your thoughts, We were practically communicating but inside your mind, Since you let me in, I was able to understand your thoughts directed to me, but I can't understand anything else," the Grand Elder explained as he received another thought from Aurora.
After confirming all she wanted to, Aurora cast a huge fireball and sent it hurtling towards her opponent, distracting him for a few seconds as she dashed into the air and made a run for it.
"Don't worry, Grandpa Silas, this would not go unpunished," Aurora screamed as she disappeared from the battlefield, leaving even The Sixth Elder from the Fridall clan quite perplexed.
He had thought of different things that might happen here today and had even planned countermeasures against them, but there was no way he would have thought that the valiant Aurora Blaze would leave a companion on the battlefield.
"Shit, come with me. Let's get her. Stop playing around this time," The Sixth Elder's voice drifted away as both he and the other mage fighting with Aurora followed behind her in hot pursuit, making it their goal to catch her.
Someone like her was too dangerous to leave Considering she had just heard all there plans.
"Bang!" Silas was flung a long way as he rolled on the ground until he used his flaming sword to stop himself, he had tired himself out after using his Life Force to fight since.
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but that hurt like hell," Silas complimented the mage that struck him as he tried to make fun of them.
"Hmm, who can save you now? You were acting so high and mighty just a few minutes ago. Show us your bravado now,"
another of the mages said as he smiled at Silas, who was on the ground with a defiant smile on his face.
It was almost as if they were looking at an insect.
"It's time for you to die now," one of them said, only for them to hear a little noise and raised their heads up to see three mages coming their way wearing the Gordons clan robe.
"I'm sorry, we can't let that happen, After all, we are the ones you are trying to frame!" The Grand Elder, who stood in the middle, said with a smile on his face, confusing even the Blade clan mages if they were truly in a situation to be smiling at each other.
"Well, what better way to make this convincing than killing two to three more mages of the Gordons clan and leaving their bodies here with him?, It would give us a better chance of causing the Blaze Clan to attack the Gordons clan," one of the mages said as he dashed towards the Gordons elders that had shown up.
They had information on all the Gordons elders and were aware that none of them were in possession of spirit armor, only normal armor being crafted.
Though they were also good, they could never compare with a spirit armor, and that was what fueled the Blade mages' confidence to take care of them quickly.
The Fourth Elder of the Gordons clan walked out to the front, silent.
There was a huge frown on his face as he stared at the mage running towards him.
"I have always hated the blade clan for taking the woman I love away, Today, I will start off washing away that humiliation,"
The Fourth Elder said as he summoned his spear from his space ring, and huge roots started growing out of the ground before forming a huge wooden Golem.
Such a display of strength shook the mage dashing towards him a little, but due to his underestimation, he still carried on as he slashed out his sword, sending out a sword Qi.
In return, the fourth elder, who was still walking one step at a time, simply rotated his spear in front of him, and the sword lights ended up being deflected in different directions.
"You would have to do harder than that to stop my next move," the Blade Mage roared as he jumped high in the air, and his curved sword became coated in some type of bluish liquid light.
As he struck down on the fourth elder, he kept his eyes on the wooden Golem, in case it attacked him.
But He ended up relieved as he realized that the seven-foot-tall golem had no intentions of attacking.
"Arrrgh!" the mage shouted as his weapon finally clashed with the fourth Elder's spear, but his eyes held a hint of surprise in them as, for the first time, he saw someone in the northern kingdom having their weapon coated in the same bluish liquid light that was on his own.
He found out he didn't gain any advantage as the spear had struck exactly the weak point of his sword.
"You are not the only one who knows how to use Ki energy, my friend, I learnt a lot from the humiliation your clan caused me,"
The Fourth Elder said as he turned his spear skillfully and used the butt of the spear to knock the Blade clan Mage backward before he took a stance and pierced his spear forward.
[< Spear one – Dragon Arrival >]
The fourth elder declared.
The moment he finished his words, a huge green dragon formed behind him, and it roared loudly, sending a lot of shockwave attacks towards the fourth Elder's opponents, who cursed under his breath.
"Are all of our informant mad?, They said that the Gordons clan were harmless and only the patriarch should be watched out for, but this bastard here already created a Ki technique,"
the sword man shouted as he slashed out and attacked with his own ton defend himself
[< Blade's secret skill – Sword descending >].
The mage was quick to counter with his own Ki technique, as using any other moves or spell against a Ki technique would be extremely useless.
Seeing their colleague in danger, the two mages that were watching over Silas got tired of waiting.
They all thought that he was enough to take care of all three mages, but he was already facing danger, when facing one.
"Go support him, That might just be the second strongest Mage after the patriarch, Our information department never makes that big of a mistake. They must have missed him somehow."
The leader instructed the second Mage to assist, but as the mage moved to save his colleagues, he was blocked by a hefty individual sitting on the back of a huge Golem Tiger.
"Hi, nice to meet you, I am the Fifth Elder, and I am sorry, but I can't let you interrupt my brother's fight," the Fifth Elder said lazily as he patted his huge stomach.
"How dare you stop my way!"
the mage said in anger as he looked down on them.
He slashed his sword forward, and the fifth elder threw a round ball forward, which transformed mid-air, as a furry hand appeared first from the round ball and grabbed the sword.
"De...ad meeeat," the tiger under the Fifth Elder finally spoke a word.
(Whoa, I think that's its first word since I introduce it, well It's clearly an elite Golem for You guys information.)
