Chapter 13
"Little wizards, follow me." Professor McGonagall led the little wizards to the hall.
Looking at the magnificent hall, even the well-informed Draco was a little surprised, but Thorne on the side was unusually calm.
"Why... Oh, by the way, you have been living in Hogwarts all this time." Draco said stupidly.
"Hehe." Thorne rolled his eyes.
"Now I call the names and sort them, Hannah Abbott!"
"Hufflepuff!"
"I knew..." Thorne, who was standing below, muttered softly.
"What did you say?" Draco asked.
"Nothing."
Then Professor McGonagall called out another name.
"Thorne Black!"
"I'll go." Thorne patted Draco on the shoulder and sat on the small stool, but he looked at the dirty hat with some disgust.
"Are you disgusted with me? It's so sad."
A voice appeared in his mind the moment he put on the hat.
"What else? Doesn't this school clean you up?" Thorne whispered.
"Normally, not because my four makers are no longer alive, and they are afraid of ruining me." The Sorting Hat explained.
"Okay, let's sort you." Thorne said.
"You're a little hard to sort, you know? You're bold, eager for knowledge, eager for pleasure, eager for power, but not eager for power, so I decided to let you go to Slytherin!"
"What kind of division is this?" Thorne asked in confusion.
"Except for the characteristics of Slytherin, you have all the other three colleges. In a sense, don't you think you and Slytherin are very predestined?" said the Sorting Hat.
"Okay, why doesn't Dumbledore retrain you, an old thing?" Thorne complained in a low voice.
"Then... Slytherin!" the Sorting Hat shouted loudly.
The Slytherin table suddenly burst into thunderous applause, celebrating that the ancient Black family, which had been silent for more than ten years, finally had hope again today, and also celebrating that their Slytherin circle had welcomed a new member.
After arriving at the Slytherin table, I saw an acquaintance, Albert Tagore on the train, sitting in the first seat and greeting Thorne.
Thorne also raised his hand to return the greeting, and then dealt with various hands that came from nowhere, until Draco came and rescued him.
Not long after sitting in the seat, I felt two eyes falling on me again.
Thorne looked up, one was Hermione sitting at the Gryffindor table, and the other was Dumbledore sitting in the middle of the teacher's table.
However, for a willful little girl, it would be fine to tease and coax her when she is in the mood, but looking at her angry eyes now, it is obviously willful, and Thorne is not interested in exploring what she thinks.
Dumbledore's eyes were somewhat teasing, and the meaning was very clear.
"How does it feel to be famous?"
The beaming eyes made people want to punch him, after all, he was not the one being entangled by all kinds of monsters.
In the end, Thorne stuck out his tongue at Dumbledore implicitly, and stopped looking at him, turning around to chat with Draco, until another name was heard, which made everyone stop talking.
"Harry Potter!"
Professor McGonagall shouted.
"Where do you think he will go?" Draco asked.
"Anyway, it's not Slytherin. We are here, and his impression of Slytherin must be terrible." Thorne teased in a low voice.
"Not that bad?" Draco was a little unconvinced.
"Very bad."
In the end, Harry went to Gryffindor.
"Really? You are not happy about this? Because he went to Gryffindor?" Thorne asked Draco, who was lost beside him, holding his chin.
"He is the first person to refuse my friend's invitation." Draco whispered.
"Your character... If you and I are not relatives, I would also want to beat you."
"Huh?"
"Stop it, eat." Thorne took a piece of bread from the table and stuffed it into Draco's mouth... It fit perfectly.
"Thorne... Thank you so much."
"You're welcome."
The meal was eaten quickly, but Thorne and Draco didn't eat much. The food in front of them basically went into Crabbe and Goyle's stomach.
"I shouldn't have thrown that rope at the beginning. I should have let him feed the fish in the water... At least we can still have half of the food in front of us." Thorne said with gritted teeth.
"Forget it, just consider it as losing weight." Draco comforted.
".........."
After the dinner, it was time to sing the school song. Thorne only felt that his earsHe didn't know how he got down from his seat.
He was so dizzy that he didn't wake up until he met Hermione in the corridor.
"I see your two friends are eating quite... generously. This is what I left for you in Gryffindor." After that, Hermione left two large pieces of chocolate for the two of them and left with the Gryffindor army.
"Look, don't look down on others because of their bloodline, not to mention that she also sent us chocolate." Thorne handed one of the chocolates to Draco and began to preach.
"Hmm." Draco responded without saying anything clearly.
Back to the dormitory, the house elves had already sent the luggage on the train back to the dormitory, but not Thorne's luggage, because those luggage were still in Dumbledore's office at this time.
"Where is your luggage, Thorne?" Draco asked.
"It's at Dumbledore's place. You guys pack it first. I'll be back soon." Thorne said and walked out of the room.
"...You two help me pack, I'll go with him." Draco's eyes turned, and he followed after saying this.
"Why are you following me?" Thorne asked with half-moon eyes wide open.
"To help you."
"............"
"Well, it's troublesome to sort the luggage, I'll find a reason to let them help me."
"That's right." Thorne nodded in agreement.
The two walked all the way to the entrance of the headmaster's office tower, two stone statues.
"Lemon Sherbet."
"..."
"Cockroach pile."
"Spider Gummy."
"Licorice stick."
"Chocolate frog."
Crunch...
The door opened.
"Dumbledore's password is so..." Draco said in surprise.
"Uh-huh, he showed me his password book, don't tell anyone the passwords I just said." Thorne turned around and reminded.
"Don't worry, it's absolutely confidential." Draco said.
"I hope so," Thorne said, knocking on the door in front of him.
"The door was never locked."
