NOVEL NEXT Chapter 2: Chapter 2
Goku begins riding with Bulma in her car to the next dragon ball they make it a few miles before they are attacked by a pterrodactyl who captures Bulma intending on eating her goku uses his power pole to jump up high enough and kock it out to save her after that they travel for a couple of days before bulma decides that she wants to rest so she uses a dyno cap to summon a house that makes goku think she is a witch bulma chuckles and says no these are called dyno caps everyone has them.
Once inside he is amazed by the modern technology even when she turns on the TV or the faucet she smells him then says you need a bath he says i just had one 3 days ago she says you're supposed to bathe daily he says i only bathe once a week it's too dangerous otherwise she asks why's that goku says because i bathe in the ocean she sweat drops at that then takes him to the bathroom he looks at the room then asks what is it she sweatdrops then says it's a bathroom you use it to bathe and do your business like pee and poop he snaps his fingers then says oh like grandpa's out house.
She says yeah exactly he asks do i have to eventually clean it up like the out house she says no watch she flushes the toilet he marvels at it then whistles at it and says you city people have it so easy she asks what's that supposed to mean he says well if i want to go anywhere i have to walk and another way is that to clean our outhouse i have to dig up all of our pee and poop and get rid of it or it will be bad for the earth and trees she asks where do you put it he says a company comes by to collect it and pays us every month they turn it into gas or so they say.
She nods knowing what he's talking about he's referring to biodiesel she turns on the tub gets the water just right then switches it to shower then closes the shower door she asks do you know how to use shampoo or do you need help he says no i know how to wash myself i just don't wash my hair because certain smells attract animals she nods then goes to her products and gives him an unscented shampoo and body wash he thanks her then she leaves the bathroom comes back with a towel sees a tail as he's getting in the shower he closes the door before she leaves the bathroom again.
She asks Goku i don't mean to inrude on your bath time but why do you have a tail Goku says i was born with it she nods then leaves the bathroom again 15 minutes later goku leaves the bathroom in a robe that was left for him to find an hour later they are both bathed and sitting down to dinner just as they are about to eat there is a knock at the door goku answers the door and sees it's a turtle he asks could you two get me some salt water i was on my back to the ocean after running an errand and got lost goku looks at Bulma she nods.
Goku asks is it normal for a turtle to talk he says no not all of us can but then again i'm not normal as i've been around for 400 years both Goku and Bulma whistle at that Bluma brings him a pail with salt water in it that isn't mixed really well but that doesn't matter to Turtle as he just wanted salt water once finished he asks could you two bring me to the nearest beach i promise it will be worth the trip they decide to they eat dinner feed Turtle Bulma asks what was this errand that got you lost he says i was charged with locating two strong warriors for my master to train he says so far i've found two but one is a disgrace to the martial arts.
Goku growls then asks what makes him a disgrace bulma does a double take never seeing Goku mad before Turtle gulps then says he uses his skills to rob everyone who passes by his home whether they be weaker than himself or not he calls himself the desert bandit Goku says that's it Turtle it's time to train for this desert bandit Turtle asks how are you going to do that goku picks Turtle up puts him on his back then says bulma i want you to make those things of yours to store enough salt water until we gather the dragon balls.
also i want you to build me a strap for Turtle here so i can carry him where ever we go she nods then gets to work on both Turtle asks why are you doing this when i can just give you a shell that's just as heavy as my own when you drop me off at the ocean Goku asks really he says yes Goku says never mind Bulma she says i can still make the strap until then it will only take a few hours they both nod then Goku spends that time carrying Turtle getting used to the weight Turtle asks any particular color of shell you want other than pink.
Goku thinks about it then says blue Turtle nods Bulma finishes the strap Goku pushes himself over the next week he gets used to carrying turtle once they are packed up they encounter a panther warrior with a sword trying to kill them Goku beats him in one blow next they encounter boss carrot a rabbit who turns people in to carrots Goku tricks him into becoming a carrot after a beating he goes to live on the south pole with his two suborinates planting carrots and taking over Easter next is Oolong who is taking the village girls to clean his house but really they are spoiled they get a dragon ball out of it and a new friend.
Their next adventure is taking out terror and plague who traps people in a flask while extorting food drinks women and money from the village Goku beats them and traps them as well next is taking Turtle back to the ocean they wait on the beach for 10 minutes on top of turtle's back is an old man wearing a yellow haiwaian shirt wearing sun glasses with a beard holding a wooden staff an extra blue turtle shell and a dragon ball around his neck the old man gets off of Turtle steps on the beach hands the shell to Goku the dragon ball to Bulma.
She asks why are you giving me the dragon ball he says because once you two have finished with your journey Goku will join me as my apprentice he's already taking the first step goku puts the shell on then asks what must i do to become your apprentice Roshi says that anger you have towards this desert bandit for what he's done use it to beat him in a fair fight but don't kill him never do that as from what i've heard he's only done that to really evil people Goku nods in understanding then asks will this shell make me faster Roshi says yes it will.
They both leave the beach follow the dragon radar to the next dragon ball which takes them into the desert they find it then Bulma says well Goku you finally got your wish you get to fight Yamcha as they walk past his hideout he smirks an hour later Bulma waits in the shade Goku yells come out Yamcha this desert does a poor job of hiding your scent he scowls then then comes barreling towards them on a motor scooter without wheels that's green he jumps off of his ride bulma sees how good looking he is but from the way he's acting she can tell that those looks will be nothing but trouble so she just ignores him.
Yamcha sees that Goku is looking at him with anger and is only getting madder Yamcha is getting confused he asks have i hurt someone you care about before or threatened someone you know making you act this way goku says yes you have in fact we both know this person or at least i do you have no right even being acknowledged as one of his children Yamcha asks oh yeah and who's that goku says martial arts Yamcha is shocked at his answer and is taken back by it that someone would accuse him of disgracing martial arts.
Yamcha asks how have i ruined my standing as a martial artist Goku asks do i even have to answer that look at yourself for the answer Yamcha thinks about it then asks is it my being a bandit that you have a problem with Gpku nods and says i made sure to completely research you before accusing you of this i understand things were tough after your master died but there were other schools you could have studied under that wouldn't have charged you money like my master Yamcha says i know that but my master wasn't exactly the best and didn't have the best reputation around he was kind of a player with the ladies also he liked to gamble alot.
Yamcha says i just now paid off his debts Goku says that's bad but my master could have helped you as his reputation was neutral yamcha asks who was your master Goku says some old guy named Gohan yamcha spits out his water then says he wasn't neutral he was in the top 100 strongest martial arts masters in the world Goku goes oh didn't know that Yamcha says we don't have to fight as i'm done with being a bandit goku smirks then says as penance wear this Yamcha puts on Goku's shell and falls over.
Goku laughs at him after awhile Yamcha is able to walk with it they follow the dragon radar to fire mountain home of the ox king none of them are able to put it out so the ox king suggests the bansho fan that master Roshi has goku has no idea how long it will take to get back to the beach they left them at but Bulma opens a dyno cap inside was a helicopter she goes to pick up Chichi and Roshi in a few hours she comes back with both while she is gone the ox king asks Yamcha why he is wearing a turtle shell Goku says this is mine i'm making him wear it before i let him see what gohan taught me.
Ox king nods then asks how hard are you going to push him Goku says don't know as roshi said that he was going to train me so idk how i'm going to train him as well Ox king asks is all of the training stuff back at your old house goku nods then asks would you train him for me Ox king nods then asks could i train my daughter as well goku nods but says no one else he gives Ox king a scroll that has the directions as well as how to access the exact same stuff Gohan taught Goku.
goku says there is plenty to eat and drink there if you don't drain the resources in one day Ox king says i know how to respect nature Goku also says that there is material set aside for a bigger house but it was never built you and your daughter can move there Ox king asks what about you goku says i have no desire to live there ever again in truth idk where i want to live but not there everyone nods bulma returns with Roshi and chichi he sees the mountain Oxking asks master where is the Bansho fan Roshi says my sister has it as i lent it to her.
He says i'll just put this out myself he tries to get up on a wall but falls a few times goku helps him up he removes his shirt his turtle shell he throws down his staff almost loses his balance then gathers his energy in his entire body after a few minutes every muscle in his body bulks up including his legs by 10 times after that he puts his hands together then starts saying ka me ha me engergy starts gathering in his hands it starts out white then becomes blue it gathers as a sphere in his hands then once he powers it up little beams break away from it almost like it's going to explode in his hands after that he says Ha!
The blast destroys the mountain in a blinding blue light a few minutes later all that's left is a pile of rubble Goku and bulma help chichi and Oxking find their belongings and treasure as well as the dragon ball after that there's just one left Yamcha goes with Ox king and Chichi to train for the up coming martial arts tournament in a year but goku says that he won't take part in it he will go to the one after that Yamcha nods Roshi hears this but doesn't know why Goku would do that as it would be a perfect oppurtunity to show off his skills.
Bulma thinks that it's perfect as she told him about the tournament before they left with Turtle and said to him that he should wait to do it until he was sure that his skills were up to par she also smirks that Goku not only pays attention to what she says but listens to her advice over other people they go after the last dragon ball which takes them to emperor Pilaf's place after going through numerous traps they end up in a metal box with a glass roof inside it is Puar Oolong Bulma and Goku after testing the box Goku sees that the glass is just a harder version of regular glass but only a little bit harder.
Goku's power pole breaks through it easy after that everyone is able to escape once outside the box they sneak through the castle grab the dragon balls lock the three trouble makers inside a locked room with their beds then go outside summon the dragon Shenron appears asking what is your wish a thought comes to Goku that he never thought of before but it's as if someone just popped it in there Goku says i wish for to learn how to use the power of the ape without becoming one shenron says to do so requires you to sacrifice your tail and give it to your first born son and the power to transform into an ape will forever be lost to you goku says i understand.
Shenron says very well then your wish is granted oh and you can only choose 6 more saiyans to give this power to any more and Goku nods in understanding then Shenron says farewell as the dragon balls split across the Earth but Goku jumps up and catches the four star ball before it scatters then lands back down with the others Bulma asks what was that about Goku says i'm a saiyan raised on Earth it's alot to explain Bulma says we have time goku says you have time i need to head to Roshi's to train then get rid of a certain threat after that she says okay but why don't you give me the dragon ball he nods everyone goes their seperate ways.
