Chapter 6: FOUR
A collection of poems
and stories
Every single day
I have been fighting this feeling That I can't explain
I wouldn't want to rush things But I see you more than a friend You are my true love
I can't ignore the thoughts I have My heart is burning with ardor The feeling is growing strong When I spend time with you
I feel relaxed and comfortable When I wake up
When I go to sleep When I am alone
I am filled with your thoughts This is true love I feel for you My heart is filled with passion
I want to spend my life with you You are my true love
She shapes meEscape me? Never
Beloved!
While I am I, and you are you, So long as the world contains us both,
Me the loving and you the loth, While the one eludes, must the other pursue.
My life is a fault at last, I fear. It seems too such like a fate, indeed!
Though I do my best I shall scarce succeed.
But what if I fail of my purpose here?
It is but to keep the nerves at strain, To dry one's eyes and laugh at a fall, And, baffled, get up and begin again,
So the chase takes up one's life, that's all.
While, look but once from your farthest bound
At me so deep in the dust and dark, No sooner the old hope goes to ground
Than a new one, straight to the self- same mark,
Sheshape me
You will some one day in a water of lovey
deader as deep impetuous as Laing the has of the sum will be or your skimp
the purr of the breeze in your murmuring spee h
You will pose with a hill-flower grace. You will women with your sling expressive arms
A poise of the head no sculptor has
taught
And nuances spoken with shoulder and neck,
Your face in pass-and- epass of moods
As each as skies in delicate change Of cloud and blue and flickering sun.
Set,
You may not cover 0 girl of a dreamy We may but pass as the would goes
And Make from a look of eyes into eyes,
A film of hope and a memo ied day.
