The Game's Extra: Azhriel Odyssey

Chapter 100: Claws

Noel blinked. "...A what now?"

"A company," Azhriel repeated, slow and clear.

"An official one. Registered under the continental's neutral guild network, protected by law, and with business ties spanning potions, enchantments, information trading, and artifact production."

Zeriah raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "You speak as if you already have this planned."

"I did, but now with Phantom here, things could become more large." Azhriel said. "I've had this in mind for a while. But now I have the people for it."

His eyes landed on Noel.

"You're a potion-maker. One on a Genius-level, if the Black Market was trying to pull you in. You can handle potion crafting and artifact management."

Noel scoffed. "So I'm your glorified chemist now?"

"No," Azhriel said. "You're my lead Alchemist."

Noel blinked, caught off-guard. "Wait… really?"

"Yes, didn't you want revenge on those who made you fall." Azhriel spoke.

Noel's eyes darkened, as he turned serious.

"I do." He spoke hatred leaking in his voice.

"This is your chance, now." Azhriel spoke with a slight curve of his lips.

"Zeriah, your noble background means you know how upper society works. That's useful. I want you to act as the face of the company. In short, you will be the owner in the eyes of the world."

Zeriah gave a slight nod, expression unreadable. "I can do that."

It wasn't about that hard for Zeriah.

Zeriah was a proud woman. She wasn't the one who to betray, and it wasn't about loyalty anyway. Everyone, present on the room had already signed the contract.

They simply could never betray him.

He turned to Miller. "You said you had worked under a Alchemist right?. Help, Noel in his tasks."

"Understood, boss," Miller said firmly.

"Leah," Azhriel continued, his voice still businesslike, "You have an eye for detail. Help with inventory, records, and paperwork. Keep our ledgers clean and accurate."

She nodded quietly, already seeming to think through the work.

"And Phantom…" Azhriel glanced at him.

"You can do, what you always wanted. Be the face of information network and gain subordinate's and fulfill what you wanted."

Phantom gave a slight smirk. "So I keep doing what I'm good at?"

"Exactly."

Then, Azhriel leaned back again, hands clasped loosely.

"Phantom, find a nice place for you all to live and also about what i told you. And for Noel and Miller, after finishing making the medicine go to auction for gaining materials you may need.

"That's all, I hope you all play your part nicely." Azhriel said standing up.

"Yes, boss." Everyone spoke simultaneously.

Noel blinked. "...A what now?"
