Chapter 151: Returning Along the Coast / Map Chat Shows Its Power_3
The Saintess nodded and started to act with the Holy Knight.
Both sides moved quickly.
Kana glanced around and noticed that quite a few refugees looked very clever, silently merging into the ranks of the Holy Knights.
Kana did not stop them.
After all, the battles along the way had clearly demonstrated the Night Watcher's strength.
Most of the refugees, when brought along by Ichard, naturally saw the Night Watcher as the leaders.
With all supplies and personnel ready, it wasn't long before Blake and others returned covered in blood.
Everyone boarded the ships, which felt slightly crowded for so many refugees and supplies spread across three ships, but it was manageable.
A giant flying creature descended from the sky onto the deck, startling some refugees.
Seeing this, Grey Fang helplessly rubbed his head and sighed.
"Haha, don't be discouraged, you'll get used to it," Bobo laughed, standing on a nearby wooden stake like someone who's been through it before.
On one of the ships on the edge, the Saintess watched this scene; it was the first time she realized they had always had Night Watcher aerial scouts overhead.
No wonder Kana and the others could always quickly sense the target's approach.
Four ships left the port.
The ship the Saintess was on sailed toward the western close seas, from where they could head straight to the largest coastal port of the Cohen Kingdom.
Located at the far west of the Cohen Kingdom, it was considered the safest area now.
The Church Headquarters of the Cohen Kingdom is also there.
"Night Watcher..." Alicia murmured.
Anita stood behind Alicia and couldn't help but say, "They're amazing, much stronger than when I first saw them."
"They probably used the Stone of Creation and certainly a relatively large, complete piece to make a wish."
Alicia couldn't be sure, but she believed that was most likely.
Like the Night Watchers they saw in all these battles, who could endure such brutal hits, yet still rise to continue fighting.
Their physical strength seemed inexhaustible, even when injured, still able to demonstrate great power in battle.
After the fight, their bodies could quickly recover.
It's as if they were born for battle, which also reminded the Saintess of Count and Ichard.
At the fortress, Count and Ichard showed a similar situation, but being only two of them and leaders, it was thought to be their inherent talents and strengths.
But now Alicia was sure that Count and Ichard too shared the same power as these Night Watchers.
Since those of the Blood Race could possess the ability to find the Stone of Creation, it's reasonable for Kana and those who broke away from the Blood Race to have that ability.
Perhaps weaker, perhaps harder to use, but no matter what, high possibilities exist.
"Looks like a renowned organization is about to emerge, can't wait to meet them again," Alicia smiled.
She glanced at the Stone of Creation they obtained through battle.
...
Kana and the others were navigating the three ships.
At this moment, they were in a conference room.
Although a chat channel was available, face-to-face meetings were more efficient for discussing important matters.
Bobo gazed at the map Kana took from his pouch.
Marking with his hand the ports controlled by the Blood Race.
The first they would encounter was the North Port located to the northwest of Safro Kingdom's peninsula.
After rounding the peninsula's tip to the other side, they would come upon the Royal Capital's port.
Further down was Sea Cape City's port, which, once passed, would lead directly to their initial landing spot, now the fishing village on that beach.
"In other words, if we want to safely return to the Eastern Wilderness, we must pass through three Blood Race-controlled ports, which might be too dangerous for us."
Blake nodded, stomping his foot slightly as he said, "The three ships beneath us are just ordinary transport vessels and have no warship capabilities. If we face a naval battle, we can almost only flee."
Kana didn't speak from a divine perspective but looked at Beget: "You speak, Beget, you must have experienced seafights with the Blood Race."
Beget nodded.
"We set off originally heading to the Royal Capital's port but, upon sensing danger, moved downstream and were intercepted by Sea Cape City's Blood Race navy.
The Blood Race navy is powerful, perhaps aided by giant bats, giving them a huge advantage in sea warfare."
The implied meaning is that if they get caught, the likelihood of being sunk is high.
"I, reconnaissance," Grey Fang said.
The others looked at Grey Fang, realizing a point.
His advantage in aerial reconnaissance, especially over the sea, would be fully realized.
Along with their channel communications providing real-time intelligence.
Moreover, interestingly, Grey Fang can clear the fog of war. As long as he's nearby, rapidly expanding the map's boundaries, and from an aerial view, allowing others to see their enemy's position on the map.
They could easily avoid the Blood Race ships.
They're presently experiencing the immense advantage of combining the [Chat Channel] with the [Map System] on the battlefield firsthand.
And if their ships were equipped with strong attack capabilities, it would be terrifying.
Anyway, this significantly increases their chances of safely navigating back.
