Chapter 39: Chapter 46-47-48

Chapter 46: Media and Fan Reaction

The morning after Derek and the girls' thrilling escape from the paparazzi, the world was about to be hit with a new wave of attention. The footage of Derek's daring stunt did not go unnoticed, some of the paparazzi chasing them managed to capture part of the action, and within hours, the videos were spread across social media and gossip portals.

Fans of Kylie, Kendall, and Stassie quickly realized what had happened, and as usual, the internet reacted explosively. Hashtags like #DerekEscape, #RealGetawayPilot, and #KylieInTheBestHands began to trend across various platforms, with thousands of people commenting on the "spectacle" they had witnessed in the amateur videos.

Major tabloids and entertainment websites began reporting on the incident almost instantly. The headlines varied, but they all had one thing in common: Derek was in the spotlight, being portrayed as a sort of "modern hero" and "perfect bodyguard."

TMZ was one of the first to report:

"Derek Rogan, Kylie Jenner's new boyfriend, has shown that besides being a former Marine and gym owner, he could also be the next action movie star. In a recent video, Derek is seen performing dangerous and impressive stunts behind the wheel of his Mercedes G-Wagon, while fleeing a paparazzi chase with Kylie, Kendall Jenner and Stassie in the car. Could Hollywood be watching him?"

E! News also weighed in:

"Derek Rogan, the man behind yesterday's paparazzi escape, appears to be more than just Kylie Jenner's boyfriend. In a display of skills worthy of an action movie, he managed to throw off the photographers with a series of impressive maneuvers. Could Derek be becoming the real-life 'Jason Bourne' everyone is talking about?"

Meanwhile, car and motoring websites also got in on the act. MotorTrend praised Derek's skills:

"You don't see a G-Wagon being maneuvered like this every day. Derek Rogan, with his military background, showed that even outside of the battlefield, he knows how to handle high-risk situations. His driving skills were impeccable, and the video is a sight to behold for any car and evasive driving enthusiast."

Kylie's ever-engaged and attentive fans quickly flooded social media with comments and theories. Many were impressed with Derek's skills, while others were simply delighted with how well he seemed to protect and care for Kylie and her friends.

On Instagram, videos of the moment were everywhere, with captions like:

"When you have a boyfriend who can take you anywhere... even if they're being chased! #TeamDerek #KingOfTheGetaway"

"I didn't know dating an ex-marine also included getaway driver skills. Kylie, you're in the best hands! #GetawayDriver"

"Derek is basically the real Jason Bourne. I'm obsessed! #JasonBourneWho?"

One fan commented on a Twitter post:

"I just want a Derek in my life, someone who can take me anywhere, even out of the paparazzi's sights. He's amazing! #DerekRogan"

Another follower wrote:

"Derek Rogan is definitely not just another Kardashian boyfriend. This guy has skills and a level of cool I've never seen before. What a man!"

On TikTok, the videos went viral, with hilarious and impressive edits quickly emerging. Many compared Derek to action movie characters like James Bond and Ethan Hunt from Mission: Impossible. Some users created montages mixing Derek's escape with famous car chase scenes from movies, which generated even more amusement among fans.

Meanwhile, at Derek and Kylie's house, the couple were enjoying a quiet morning until they started receiving incessant notifications on their phones. Kylie was the first to realize something was up when her social media pages exploded with messages and mentions of the video.

"Derek... have you seen this yet?" Kylie asked, showing him her phone screen.

Derek chuckled softly as he watched the video of his escape maneuver, captured by one of the paparazzi. He shook his head, clearly in disbelief that something so common to him was getting so much attention.

"Oh, the paparazzi got it all, huh?" he said, pulling out his own phone to check the news.

Kylie laughed, still a little shocked. "I can't believe you've practically become an internet superhero in less than 24 hours."

"Well," Derek said, putting his phone away and pulling Kylie closer, "I just did what I had to do. I didn't want them to keep stalking us. And to be honest, it was kind of fun."

Kylie looked at him in awe. "You really do have a way of making everything look easy."

Derek smiled. "With the right training, you learn how to deal with these situations. And in the end, the important thing is that we're safe."

Kendall and Stassie soon messaged in their group, laughing at the backlash.

Kendall wrote:

"So when's the next 'paparazzi escape' class? I think we need to do this again!"

Stassie added:

"Did you guys see the comments? Derek is officially the most badass boyfriend Kylie has ever had. #TeamDerek forever."

Kylie replied in the group, laughing:

"You guys are loving all this attention, huh? Seriously, though, he's impressive. The next paparazzi escape class is tomorrow. Hahaha."

Derek, standing next to Kylie, read the messages and shook his head, laughing. "I didn't even realize I was teaching a class."

Kylie hugged him, smiling. "Well, at least now you know that, besides being great at protecting us, you also know how to put on a show."

The media and fans continued to comment on Derek and his daring escape from the paparazzi for days. His name was everywhere, and more and more, people began to associate him not only as Kylie Jenner's boyfriend, but also as a skilled ex-Marine, prepared for any situation.

With each viral video and post, Derek solidified himself as a public figure admired, both by Kylie's fans and by those who admired his impressive skill and calm under pressure. The world now knew that he was much more than just a presence next to one of the biggest celebrities on the planet.

Chapter 47: Driving Lesson

It was a sunny morning when Kendall arrived at Derek and Kylie's house. She was in high spirits, dressed casually in jeans and a white t-shirt, ready for what she had planned for days. Ever since Derek's impressive escape from the paparazzi, her desire to learn how to drive like him had only grown, and she knew Derek was the right person to teach her.

Kendall had always had a passion for cars and racing, and her collection of classic vehicles showed it. She was already a good driver, but she wanted to take her skills to the next level. Derek, with his military training and vast knowledge of evasive driving techniques, was the perfect choice to teach her more advanced maneuvers, such as drifting and the famous wheelie.

She rang the doorbell and was greeted by Derek, who was wearing a tight gray t-shirt and jeans, with his usual carefree smile on his face.

"Good morning, Kendall," Derek greeted, opening the door. "Ready to learn how to play with the car?"

Kendall smiled, her eyes shining with excitement. "You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this. I think I'm more than ready."

Kylie, who was in the living room, interrupted the conversation with a laugh. "Please, Derek, don't take her out to do anything too crazy. I want my sister back in one piece, okay?"

Derek shook his head with a playful smile. "Relax, love. I'll take good care of her."

Kylie laughed and kissed Derek quickly before returning to the couch. "Okay, have fun. But I'm watching!"

Kendall and Derek left the house and walked towards the garage, where Derek's G-Wagon and one of Kendall's classic cars were parked. She had brought one of her favorites for the day, a 1967 Ford Mustang, a classic muscle car that was perfect for the kind of stunts she wanted to learn.

"So, I brought my baby," Kendall said, patting the hood of the Mustang. "I think he's perfect for this, don't you think?"

Derek glanced at the car, nodding in approval. "Great choice. This car has a lot of torque, and the rear-wheel drive will make drifting easier. Plus, it's one of my favorite models."

Kendall smiled, pleased that she'd picked the right car. They climbed into the Mustang, Derek in the passenger seat, and headed toward an open, deserted area away from the busy streets. He wanted Kendall to have the space and safety to practice without interference.

"Okay, Kendall, let's start with something simple: the wheelie. This is an easy maneuver, but you need full control of the steering wheel and know when to stop accelerating," Derek explained as she drove. "Basically, you're going to accelerate a little, and when I tell you to, you're going to pull the handbrake while turning the steering wheel. This will make the car turn 180 degrees. Sound easy?"

Kendall nodded, but a hint of nervousness crept into her eyes. "I think so, but I can't promise it'll be perfect the first time."

Derek laughed encouragingly. "Nobody gets it right the first time. But don't worry, I'm here to guide you."

They stopped in a wide, empty stretch of road that was ideal for maneuvering. Derek adjusted his position in the seat and said,

"Okay, accelerate to about 25 mph, and when I tell you to, pull the handbrake and turn the steering wheel fast."

Kendall took a deep breath and accelerated. When Derek gave the signal, she pulled the handbrake and turned the steering wheel sharply to the left. The car spun hard, but lost control at the end, skidding more than expected.

"Whoa!" Kendall exclaimed, laughing nervously as she tried to regain control of the car. "Okay, that was a little harder than I expected."

Derek smiled. "You did well, but you let go of the wheel too late. Try going a little faster next time. Want to try again?"

"Sure thing," Kendall replied, now more confident.

This time, she followed Derek's instructions exactly. When the car reached the correct speed, she pulled the handbrake and turned the wheel at the perfect moment. The car made a 180-degree turn and came to a smooth stop, in the right place.

"That's it!" Derek exclaimed, clapping his hands. "Now you're getting the hang of it."

Kendall laughed, the glint of pride in her eyes evident. "Okay, that was fun. What's next?"

Drift Time

Now that Kendall had mastered the wheelie, Derek decided it was time to move on to something more challenging: drifting. He knew she loved that kind of maneuver, and the Mustang was ready to be put to the test.

"Drifting is a little more complicated," Derek began to explain. "You'll need to keep the car at high speed while keeping the rear wheels spinning. The trick is to balance the accelerator and brake at the same time, while turning the steering wheel to control the direction of the skid."

Kendall listened intently, taking in every word. She wasn't one to back down from a challenge, and now she was determined to learn.

"So, accelerate, and when I give you the signal, Put your foot down and start turning the steering wheel while controlling the skid. Don't worry if you lose control the first time. It takes practice."

Kendall nodded and tightened her seatbelt a little. With one foot firmly on the accelerator, she began to pick up speed, her eyes focused on the road ahead. When Derek gave the signal, she floored it and began to turn the steering wheel.

The Mustang's rear wheels began to spin, and the sound of screeching tires echoed through the area. For a few seconds, it seemed like Kendall had lost control, but she quickly adjusted the steering wheel and, to her surprise, the car followed the drift path, gliding smoothly down the track.

"You're doing it!" Derek shouted with a satisfied smile. "Now, keep accelerating smoothly while controlling the spin."

Kendall maintained control, the car drifting in a perfect arc. When the car finally stopped, she was laughing, pure adrenaline coursing through her veins.

"That was amazing!" she exclaimed, a big smile on her face. "I can't believe I did it!"

Derek nodded, clearly impressed. "You have it! talent, Kendall. With a little more practice, you'll be doing this like a professional driver."

Kendall smiled, pleased and full of pride. "Thanks, Derek. Seriously, that was a lot of fun. I think I'll be taking more lessons."

Derek chuckled. "Anytime you want, just call me. But for now, I think you can be satisfied with today's progress."

After a few hours of practice, Derek and Kendall headed home, both feeling accomplished. Kylie, who was waiting in the living room, looked at Kendall with an approving smile.

"So? How was it?" Kylie asked.

Kendall laughed and tossed Kylie the car keys. "I drove like a pro, of course. Your boyfriend here is the best teacher ever."

Kylie chuckled and looked at Derek. "Oh, so you're a driving instructor now?"

Derek shrugged with a carefree smile. "I just did what I had to do. Now she knows how to do evasive maneuvers."

Kylie looked at Kendall and said jokingly, "Now all you have to do is run away from the paparazzi."

Kendall winked at Kylie. "Maybe next time I'll drive and show you how it's done."

The three of them laughed, enjoying the rest of the day together, while Derek, always modest, just smiled at the success of his new "student."

Chapter 48: The Spy Commercial

Derek was sitting in his living room, enjoying a quiet morning with Kylie. He was still getting used to the attention his personal and professional life had attracted in the last few months, and although he was pleased with the way his career was expanding, he had always maintained a certain reluctance towards the world of celebrity. Kylie was reading some messages on her phone when she suddenly turned to him with a smile on her face.

"You won't believe what just came in," Kylie said, holding the phone in front of him.

Derek looked at the phone, confused. "What now?"

"You've just been asked to be in a commercial. But not just any commercial, Derek," Kylie said excitedly. "It's a potentially epic commercial, and guess who you're going to be starring with? Tom Cruise, Matt Damon, and Daniel Craig! And best of all... you're going to be a spy!"

Derek raised an eyebrow in surprise. "A spy? Like, something along the lines of James Bond?"

Kylie nodded excitedly. "Exactly! They want you to play a spy wearing fancy suits from the brand that's going to be in the commercial. And the commercial will include car stunts, action scenes... You'll basically be living out what you did in real life, only in a movie style. And at the end, you'll meet Ethan Hunt, Jason Bourne, and James Bond. What do you think?"

Derek laughed and rubbed the back of his neck. "That sounds pretty crazy, but at the same time, interesting. I've never thought about acting, but if it's something that mixes espionage and cars... maybe it's worth it. And you seem excited."

Kylie nodded vigorously. "Of course I am! That's going to be huge. Plus, they'll probably pay you a lot for it."

Derek was silent for a moment, considering. He was pretty sure he'd never be a real actor, but the idea of playing this character in a commercial, especially with stars like Tom Cruise, Matt Damon, and Daniel Craig, was tempting. Finally, he looked at Kylie and gave her a small smile.

"Okay, I'll do it," he said with a laugh. "But only because it'll be fun to drive and do stunts again."

Kylie smiled and hugged him. "I knew you'd say yes! Now, I'm letting you know that you're in. It's going to be epic, Derek."

A few weeks later, Derek was on a lavish film set, surrounded by cameras, high-performance sports cars, and tailored suits. He was impeccably dressed in the commercial's signature fitted black suit, and flanked by three of the greatest icons of action cinema: Tom Cruise, Matt Damon, and Daniel Craig.

Derek looked at the three actors with a certain respect, but he also couldn't help but chuckle. He, a former Marine and real-life spy, was about to act alongside actors playing fictional spies.

"Well, here we are," Tom Cruise said, with a charismatic smile on his face, extending his hand to shake Derek's. "I hear you have quite an impressive track record, Derek."

Derek shook Tom's hand and replied modestly, "I just did my job. But I'm excited to see what this side of cinematic espionage is all about."

Daniel Craig, known for his role as James Bond, laughed and added, "I know how it is. But here, you get to do it all in style, and without the risk of actually getting shot."

Matt Damon, who played Jason Bourne, also smiled and commented, "I wonder if you're going to criticize our stunts after seeing what we do on the big screen."

Derek shrugged. "Well, I'll try not to compare it to the real world... but I will say that if you need any tips on how to actually escape a dangerous situation, just give me a call."

The three actors laughed, and soon the commercial director called them to get ready. The first scene of the commercial involved Derek in a luxury sports car, performing high-speed stunts through the streets of a fictional European city. His mission was to retrieve a secret item before meeting up with the three iconic spies at the end of the commercial.

Derek climbed into the car, a gleaming Aston Martin, and fastened his seatbelt as the cameras panned around him. He was excited, but at the same time focused. He had done this before in real life, and now was his chance to show off some of those skills in a controlled environment.

The director gave the order, and Derek accelerated the car, diving into tight turns, skidding around corners, and dodging obstacles in his path. It was all shot with precision, and every move felt natural to him. He controlled the car as if it were an extension of himself, which impressed not only the production crew but also the actors watching from afar.

After a few takes, Derek finally arrived at the final scene, where he stopped the car open in front of an elegant building. As he stepped out of the vehicle, he adjusted his suit and walked toward the entrance, where Tom Cruise, Matt Damon, and Daniel Craig were waiting for him.

"Impressive," Daniel Craig commented, as the three fictional characters watched Derek approach. "Looks like we have a new spy on the team."

Tom Cruise nodded with a smile. "Welcome to the club. I think you'd fit in very well."

Derek, keeping the serious demeanor of his character, simply smiled and replied, "Looks like you guys needed some real reinforcement."

The three actors laughed, and the scene ended with them leaving together for one last mission.

After filming, Derek felt a mixture of relief and excitement. He didn't know what to expect when he accepted the role, but in the end, it was a fun experience. He was surrounded by talented professionals and had the chance to relive some of what he did in real life, but in a much more stylized way.

Kylie arrived on set shortly after filming wrapped, and upon seeing Derek in his suit, she couldn't help but smile in admiration.

"Wow, you look amazing," Kylie said, giving him a quick kiss. "So, what was it like working with the greatest spies in film?"

Derek laughed. "It was fun. They're great guys, and I even got to direct them for real. But honestly, it's funny how much more glamorous things are in fiction."

"Well, glamorous or not, you were killing it out there," Kylie replied proudly.

As they walked off the set together, Derek realized that even if his life had taken a different turn, he could still enjoy these unique moments and revel in the unexpected. And who would have thought that he, a former Marine and spy, would end up working alongside such legends of film?

With one last look around the set, Derek smiled. He knew this was just another adventure in his life full of surprises.
