"CLANG!"

Following a grating clash of metal, Chu Feng's figure was sent flying. A second before landing, with the aid of Telekinesis, Chu Feng adjusted his posture and landed steadily on the ground.

Chu Feng, having failed the attack, didn't look the least bit defeated. Instead, he intently stared at the spot he had struck, a hint of a smile appearing on his face. It worked! On the giant Rune, a blade mark the length of a palm was clearly visible to Chu Feng.

"So this is the Human World... I've finally made it!"

Looking towards the sound, a Demon with a pair of thick, goat-like horns had appeared out of nowhere in front of the Gate of Breaking Boundary. Judging by the robustness of its horns, its Strength seemed to be much greater than the Demon encountered in Mar Town.

Huh? What's happening? Chu Feng, puzzled by the Demon's behavior, could only stare blankly in the direction it flew away, utterly confused.

"Haha... I'm finally going to make it!"

His voice announced his presence before he was seen. Just as Chu Feng was about to resume his grand task of "slashing the Rune," another grating sound, reminiscent of nails scraping a blackboard, emerged from the Gate of Breaking Boundary in the sky. Thinking he would witness how a Demon passed through the Gate of Breaking Boundary, Chu Feng immediately turned his gaze towards the sky, where the black hole still flickered with sparks of red light.

The next second, however, a piercing scream erupted from it.

"No! Why does it have to be at this moment..."

As the voice trailed off, the black hole in the sky instantly reverted to its original dark, empty appearance, and the lightning, which had long since vanished, reappeared. As for the owner of that voice, when a blinding flash of lightning streaked across the black hole, Chu Feng only caught a glimpse of a giant hand with pitch-black nails extending out from the black hole. It really is in here! Looking up at the sky, where the Rune had been, a palm-sized Stone Rune floated quietly in mid-air, slowly gathering the surrounding Bloody Energy. Chu Feng naturally wouldn't give it a chance to re-form. Leaping high again, Chu Feng's body shimmered with a golden glow as he plunged into the thick blood-red mist, snatching the Stone Rune from the now somewhat concentrated Bloody Energy.

After landing again, Chu Feng gazed indifferently at the familiar Rune in his hand and suddenly clenched his fist tightly.

"CRACK!"

With a crisp sound, the Stone Rune shattered into countless pieces.

Not good, I have to get out of here! The moment the Rune shattered, the air around Chu Feng instantly grew heavy.
