Seeing that the other party was taking too long to appear, Chu Feng lost patience and headed straight for the shopping mall entrance.

Just as he stepped onto the first stair leading to the mall's entrance, an unsettlingly effeminate voice suddenly rang out.

"Chu Feng, my dear, how can an Exorcist like you be so impatient with others?"

Damn it, where did this sissy pop out from?

Although Chu Feng had not yet seen the figure, that unsettlingly disgusting voice made him extremely uncomfortable, even causing goosebumps to form on his arm.

"Oh, don't be so fierce!" As a voice that could instantly nauseate any normal man rang out, a pot-bellied, fleshy-faced, humanoid monster covered in black bristles abruptly appeared above the mall's main entrance.

The monster, regaining its footing in front of the mall, flicked a short spear that had appeared in its hand out of nowhere. It then managed to contort its grotesque face into what could barely be called a smile.

"What the hell are you?" Chu Feng's expression was stern. He twirled the long blade in his hand, his gaze fixed intently on the creature before him.

Upon hearing Chu Feng's question, the creature's expression instantly turned cold. Its voice, which might have sounded charming if one ignored its appearance, suddenly became gruff.

"Have human Exorcists become so ignorant they can't even recognize a succubus anymore?"

Ignoring the fury in its voice, a large question mark formed in Chu Feng's mind.

This damn thing is a succubus?

From a lightless, shadowy corner within the mall, a sinister voice suddenly spoke.

"I knew it! A hybrid of a succubus and a troll would be brainless! To think it revealed its identity so easily!"

Another voice replied with a cold laugh, "Hmph. If it truly had a brain, would it have been so easily tricked by us into coming out?"

"This idiot probably won't last much longer. To ensure the Gate of Breaking Boundary isn't destroyed, perhaps you should go first?"

The other voice didn't respond and seemed to have already departed.

"Damn it, it fled so quickly! Indeed, this is the true cunning of a Demon..."

The sinister voice slowly faded, as if it had never been there.

At the mall entrance, Chu Feng stared at the hideous monster before him, the corner of his mouth twitching slightly.

"You dare call yourself a succubus looking like that? Has the standard in Hell really fallen this low?"

Hearing Chu Feng's words, the self-proclaimed succubus didn't retort. It merely pursed its cherry-sized lips slightly, a bizarre smile forming on its face.

In the next instant, the monster before Chu Feng vanished.

"It seems that human males really do prefer this form of mine!"

Behind Chu Feng, an exquisitely beautiful and alluring succubus appeared in an instant, her short spear stabbing mercilessly toward the center of his back.

CLANG! A harsh, bell-like sound erupted. Golden ripples spread out from the point of impact where the short spear met Chu Feng's back.

Realizing she was utterly powerless against the Exorcist before her, the succubus glanced at the black hole in the sky, still crackling with lightning, and roared towards the mall behind her.

Unfortunately, her only answer was Chu Feng, who had suddenly reappeared before her—and, of course, his long blade, now pressed against her throat.

Feeling the aura of death emanating from the blade, the succubus was terrified.

Her alluring body vanished in an instant, reappearing in the plaza a blink later.

The succubus, having narrowly escaped death, looked toward the mall entrance, but Chu Feng was nowhere to be seen.

Just as a sense of dread washed over her and she prepared to teleport again, an excruciating pain in her abdomen shattered all her thoughts.

"Was sacrificing your life for a mere Gate of Breaking Boundary worth it?"

Hearing the detached question from the figure behind her, the succubus didn't answer. Her form shifted, reverting to the hideous appearance she had shown earlier.

Sensing her impending doom, the succubus turned to look at the Gate of Breaking Boundary, still flashing violently with lightning in the sky. Despair finally filled her eyes.

Feeling the searing heat about to erupt from the long blade lodged within her, the succubus uttered a final curse before instantly turning into a pile of ashes.

"You two bastards, I'll be waiting for you in the fires of Hell!"
