The Exorcism Began in America.

Chapter 110: The Dwarf from Hell

SCREECH!

A piercing screech of brakes rang out.

Chu Feng opened the car door and stepped out, efficiently carrying a wandering soul with him.

SLAM! The car door shut.

Looking at the wandering soul in his hand, its Soul Body faint, Chu Feng snorted impatiently.

"Courting death!"

His five fingers suddenly clenched tight, and countless ashes instantly slipped from his grasp.

Brushing off the remaining ashes from his hand and sniffing the faint scent of sulfur in the air, Chu Feng's gaze locked onto the huge black hole in the distant sky.

So many days have passed; where could those Hell Creatures that escaped have gone?

Remembering the Demons that had slipped away, Chu Feng shook his head. The lives of American citizens are about to get much more exciting, he thought.

"Never mind that, time to get to work!"

Chu Feng's expression turned deadly serious in an instant. With a flip of his palm, the Demon Hunting Blade, its long blade radiating a dazzling light, appeared in his grip.

CRACK!

Leaving a small fissure on the solid road, Chu Feng's tall figure vanished.

Hm? No guards? Chu Feng was somewhat surprised as he sped unobstructed toward the wall of corpses.

And no Demons or other creatures are coming through the passage in this situation? he wondered.

Raising his head and squinting at the black hole in the sky, which faintly glowed red, Chu Feng muttered under his breath.

Despite his confusion, Chu Feng did not stop.

Bending his knees slightly, Chu Feng leaped. The next second, he was inside the wall of corpses.

What a vast space! It seems the longer a Gate of Breaking Boundary exists, the greater its impact on its surroundings becomes! Chu Feng thought, surprised. The area inside the wall of corpses was clearly much larger than the first one he had dealt with.

His Spiritual Perception suppressed once more, Chu Feng was far more cautious this time. Gripping his Demon Hunting Blade tightly and scanning his surroundings vigilantly, he slowly approached the familiar Rune.

Where there are anomalies, there are bound to be demons! Better be careful, Chu Feng thought, steeling himself. He was on full alert, ready for any sudden developments.

Still, nothing happened as Chu Feng approached the Rune. Have the Demons that came out really gone off to play with humans? he began to wonder.

Perhaps it really is as I thought! Chu Feng didn't dwell on it. He leaped up, and in the blink of an eye, he was above the Rune.

A golden glow enveloped him, Spiritual Power surged within. Using his downward momentum, Chu Feng raised his Demon Hunting Blade and rapidly approached the giant Rune below.

Just as he was about to collide with the Rune, a sharp pain flashed through Chu Feng's mind, and his Spiritual Perception blared a frantic warning.

Damn it, I'll take it head-on! Relying on the protection of his Golden Light Spell, Chu Feng chose to endure the attack and shatter the Rune first.

THUD! With a muffled sound, Chu Feng's Demon Hunting Blade failed to strike the Rune's surface. A massive force from the side sent him flying.

"Human Exorcist, what exactly is that layer of golden light on your body? How can it be so hard?"

As Chu Feng somewhat clumsily got to his feet, a hoarse voice suddenly reached his ears.

"You want to know?" Chu Feng twisted his neck, looking at the short figure standing above the Rune. "But I don't feel like telling you!"

"I believe you will talk!" the figure shrouded in red light above the Rune said, its voice harsh and ice-cold.

THUD! The figure on the Rune jumped down.

"Because I will become your master!"

Only when the red light from the Rune dissipated did Chu Feng clearly see his opponent's appearance.

His body, barely a meter tall, was clad in crudely crafted metal armor. He held an enormous War Axe, almost as tall as himself.

A crimson liquid that looked very much like blood slowly dripped down his ferocious face, giving him a terrifying aura.

This shorty isn't big, but he's certainly full of himself... Chu Feng thought, his eyes turning frosty as he looked at the ugly, conceited dwarf before him. This must be the first time some mutt has dared to speak to me like that!

"'Shorty'? I'll kill you!" Hearing Chu Feng spit out the forbidden word, the approaching dwarf instantly flew into a rage. His small figure, gripping the huge War Axe, vanished on the spot.

So fast! Chu Feng thought, but he didn't flinch as the dwarf appeared before him in the blink of an eye, War Axe raised high.

Gripping the hilt of his Demon Hunting Blade with both hands, Spiritual Power surged through him. The slender blade instantly flashed with a cold light.

CLANG! With a metallic shriek, countless sparks flew as the dwarf's body was sent flying backward.

"Hah, big talk! But your strength doesn't seem to be that great!"

Knowing full well the importance of pressing his advantage, Chu Feng lunged forward in pursuit.

"Damn human!" The dwarf scrambled to his feet. A faint light emanated from his rough armor, and then a teal flame WHOOSHED out from the gaps.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

Having caught up, Chu Feng unleashed a flurry of slashes, each aimed at the dwarf's vital spots.

This time, enhanced by his transformed state, the dwarf barely managed to withstand Chu Feng's onslaught.

CLANG! After another sharp collision, the force of the impact sent the dwarf staggering back a good distance, momentarily escaping Chu Feng's relentless attacks.

"Human, shall we stop fighting and talk it over?"

Looking at the numerous nicks on his War Axe and feeling the chilling aura from them, the dwarf, fearing for his life, made a suggestion.

"Fight when you want, make peace when you want? Are you dreaming?" Chu Feng sneered, twirling his Demon Hunting Blade in a flourish.

"Human, I'm giving you a chance. If you don't leave now, you'll regret it!" the dwarf threatened, glancing up at the black hole in the sky, his eyes filled with anticipation.

"Regret? Hah! If I don't kill you now, *that's* what I'll regret!" The moment his words fell, Chu Feng vanished.

"Damn it!" The dwarf, burdened with a heavy responsibility to his clan, couldn't retreat. Roaring, he lifted his broad War Axe and also vanished.

Unfortunately, the dwarf's courage couldn't bridge the gap in their strength.

CLANG!

After a violent collision, the meter-tall dwarf let out a muffled grunt and was sent flying backward again.

The War Axe in his hand had been split in two, the pieces clattering to Chu Feng's left and right.

The dwarf's crude armor had shattered into countless fragments, revealing the grey skin beneath.
