The Dungeon's Worst Little Mistake

Need some time.

Hello!!!

So, let's start this by just coming out and saying it. TLDR, I need a month. I am sorry. I will be back to regular posting on August 3rd.

Now for the reason. Quite simply, I have been posting with almost no stops for two years now. It was nice and easy back when I didn't have a job and had a disgustingly excessive amount of free time. But now I have a full-time job working nightshifts, and only really two nights a week where I am free to get my writing done. Slowly but surely, I have burned through all of my backlog. It doesn't exist anymore. It's gone, sacrificed to the gods and now nothing but a faded memory. RIP.

I need to have a backlog. Without one, writing becomes stressful, because now, I'm not writing and posting stories just for the fun of it. I'm doing it to desperately keep to a schedule that I promised to keep. Which is why I am going to be using the next month to try and build up a healthy backlog again so I can relax and go back to just letting this be a fun hobby I do on my days off, rather than a second job.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

On top of this is editing. I'm sure I don't need to point out that my chapters have quite a few mistakes in them, and several commentors have been super awesome in finding them all and pointing them out for me. (I greatly appreciate this by the way!) But, because all my free time is dedicated to just writing and a bare minimum amount of editing, I haven't had any time to go back and correct all those mistakes that have been so generously pointed out to me, for free. (Seriously, thanks for the free editing help!) During this time away from posting, I'm going to take a day or two to go back through and fix everything. Expect replies from me saying, 'Fixed it!' in the near future. There will be a lot...

So again, I am very sorry! I hate doing delays. Even just missing a single scheduled post is enough to stress me out like nothing else can. So, taking a whole month isn't an easy choice to make. But, regrettably, it is a necessary one. I swear that I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't need too. This break should also help me with my writer's block. Let my brain relax a little and breathe.

We will be back to our original schedule, starting Sunday August 3rd, and starting Book 3. Please look forward to it!
