According to the book, Jakery was the eldest among his three siblings and was born to a family of scholars. The ideology of his father and mother was a bit different than most of the people of this world. When Jakery was born, magic was already very popular in this nation. But there was also a cult who hated magic and thought that it was work of the devils which was bad for humans.

This whole cult had disappeared long time ago but when Jakery was born, this cult was very active and had quite a few members. Unfortunately Jakery's father and mother were also active followers of the cult.

That was the reason why after Jakery activated his affinity and awakened as a mage, his life became a living hell. His father and mother had thought that as their family never had an awakened person, their blood was pure and was not tainted by the devil's blood. But Jakery's awakening completely destroyed their delusion and for that reason Jakery became the number one target of their hate by both his mother and father.

Actually, magical awakening had nothing to do with the blood being pure or not. The mage system was an integral part of the world and any one could awaken as a mage. But the randomness could prevent the number of mages from increasing so the world also had a rule that children of a mages had a higher chance of awakening.

So only the children of a mage had this chance and not his whole bloodline. So if the next generation of a mage did not have an awakened person, then their next bloodline's chance of awakening would be extremely low. They would still have slightly higher chance but with each generation the chance would go more and more down.

So the hate that Jakery got was completely unfounded. But because of this his whole childhood became a living hell. He was regularly beaten, given almost no food to eat and was left in an underground room. At first he had no idea that this was not something common but as he became more intelligent, he started to understand that the treatment that he was getting was not normal.

So when he was only nine years old, he managed to run away from the house after he was able to open the underground door with his magic. Jakery was already burning with the fire of revenge but as he was too weak at that time with malnutrition, first he decided to get as far away from there as possible.

After running away from home, Jakery spent the following two years stealing money and food. With his magic he was more troublesome than regular thieves and was never caught. And with his god gifted talent, in just these two years, he managed to improve his magic a lot even though he did not have any methodical training.

But this confident that Jakery had gained with his magic was the reason for his first big failure. With his confidence in the ninth cloud, he tried to rob a very wealthy businessman and was caught by the guards who were also capable of using magic.

For any other thieves, this was a death sentence and Jakery had also thought that same. But unexpectedly, as people with magical talent were rare, the rich businessman took a liking to Jakery and decided that killing him would be a waste. So instead that the businessman took him in.

Not just taking him in, that man also started giving Jakery lessons on magic. This was the first time he was learning the methodical way to use magic and found that to be extremely interesting. Just like that for the next 3 years, Jakery was trained by this businessman.

But when Jakery was only 14, suddenly one night the house where he was leaving was attacked. At that time Jakery had gotten quite powerful and had managed to reach the second rank, so he was able to fight them off.

But after coming inside the house, Jakery found that the old master was hurt badly. It looked like there were more invaders who had attacked the family and had managed to even hurt the old master.

Even after taking Jakery in, the old master had never treated him badly. So Jakery had always felt indebted to him. So he was extremely sad after seeing that the old master was so badly hurt.

The old master then told Jakery to run away from here and to take his daughter with him. He even asked Jakery to marry his daughter when they were of the marrying age. He also told Jakery who were responsible for this attack on him and asked Jakery that if he could, to take revenge in the future.

Hearing everything, Jakery understood that the situation was very dangerous and his power was not able to solve the problem. So he decided to follow the old master's suggestion and decided to take revenge in the future.

But running away was not easy as they were attacked again almost immediately after the first attack and this time even more people were attacking. But still he somehow managed to make his escape. Stay connected with empire

The enemy they had was the family of a noble. They were extremely powerful and had many mages under the family. So for the next 8 years, Jakery was continuously on the run. But even during that time, he fulfilled his old master's request and got married to lady he was protecting all this time. They were childhood sweethearts and now were a happy married couple.

After having his first child, Jakery was slowly letting go of his revenge in the company of his sweet wife and cute child. But it turned out that the fate has something else in store for him.

Just after a month since his child's birth, Jakery's hidden house was discovered. And that also happened when he was away to hunt some wild boars for foods. So after returning from his hunt, he found that his little cottage like house inside a deep forest was filled was blood of his wife and his child was nowhere to be found.

This was the breaking point for Jakery and he went insane. That was the day when he reached the fifth rank purely with his rage and despair. With her fifth tier power, he attacked the noble family responsible for all this and destroyed them overnight.

But even then he failed to find his son who went missing. Again left with no one to call a family, he joined the dark organisation to also target the nation that was responsible for all the tragedies he had suffered in his life. And that was how the evil mage Jakery came to be.
