Chapter 43: The angel
The child sat down on the man's back and looked around over at the people recording, commenting, laughing, staring. "No?" He looked down at the person struggling underneath him. "No..." He murmured faintly with disappointment clear in his tone.
"In the end, I pity everyone, even you... You could change for the better, but judging by your blurry eyes, I wonder what is your story... What trauma have you endured that you turned out this way?" The child asked, he could have turned this situation into a comedy, but he chose to understand what was happening to the person.
"Huh?" The person looked at the ground weirdly as though of past memories and trauma rushed through his mind, causing him to fly throughout his life, this kindness, care... He has never seen such after they took away his parents.
In that moment the wooden hero from before ran into action, just to realize that things were already under control. "Oh, hey it's you. Anyways, how long was it the last time we met?" The child asked looking at him. "I see you have already taken care of the situation, All Might had to explain his actions because of you. But he seems right, you don't seem to be a bad person."
"Mhhm, definitely. Can you answer my question?" The child asked, before patting the persons back, and leaning down and whispering. "I will allow you to tell me what has happened to you, without letting you get arrested."
"Just lock me up... I am sorry, I wanted to lure them and kill them for my parents, they took them away from me... I just want to see my family again..." The man said breaking down into tears. This caused a similar reaction from the kid, but he kept it in. "I understand... I am sorry little one." The kid said patting the person's head in pity.
The wood guy saw this and didn't give much of a reaction, for him the person was a villain, a person who causes chaos and must be locked up. "I hope you meet them again." The child said, before standing up careful to not cause more pain to the man. While the child was talking to the man the wood guy has said how many days have past since their last meeting. "Can you tell me how many days have pass?" The child asked.
"I already told you... A month." The guy replied before forming branches from his foot, which went around the kid and trapped the villain, who simply let out his weak side shine. "Well, thanks." The child said before walking over the branch and passing by the man. "I can't make it more bearable, but I wish the best for you." The kid said before walking away as the crowd made way for him to pass, he looked saddened from this encounter.
'What have rules caused to this people... by what this man wanted and said, i could only imagine that his parents were villains and have done something which has caused for him to become an orphan. Who seeks revenge, yet its not what they truly want.' The kid walked until he had a clear jump towards a bigger building, with a single leap he jumped on the wall before bouncing back onto the wall of the other building and finally managing to get on the roof of the building, allowing him to see the city at its full glory, but even this sight wasn't enough to get his thoughts away from the situation that happened, he felt as if he did the wrong thing.
He struggled with the choice, should he go back he could save the person, but with what he has heard he hoped that the man would be send to where his parents were, yet how exactly would he know if it's the right place, he sat down for a second and leaned on his arms which were placed on his knees, allowing him to look down to the streets below without moving his head.
As he looked down upon the shinning light of police cars, he wasn't sure what to do. He felt sorry for the person, he felt his pain.
He grabbed onto his head and looked up directly at the sun staring at it while it molded shadows in his vision, looking down he witnessed at the edge of the shadows the man being taken away.
"I am sorry..." The child said quietly, his voice devoid of almost any breath. But then as the cars slowly escorted the person out of the scene, the man looked up at him with a regular expression and nodded at him. This warmed the child's heart, letting him know that he has done the right thing, not for the law, but the person in question, even after he was harmed he has forgiven, and given the best possible option. He nodded back at the man, before the whole situation has fully faded away, but not on the news channel.
