The dreamer: Adventure in MHA(Previously MHA x The Backrooms)

Chapter 4: This sure makes things more interesting

After a few days of doing absolutely nothing, he decided to go for another expedition in the frontrooms in hopes of finding anything interesting. Even though he had a companion, in the form of the hound, he decided to let it go freely, perhaps they could meet soon somewhere else, So he gave him a piece of his mind, to let it understand things better. Or did he just gave it the order to be able to act like him?

Either ways the hound was set free as it roamed around the hotel now freely, As the child thought about traveling to the frontrooms, he opened the door which seemed to lead somewhere in the frontrooms, but as he stepped through he was suddenly moved to the office of the gentle,an of level 5.

"I see you are ready to go? Before that, I would wish to just let you know that you are always welcome to come back in my domain. I simply wished to make myself clear." The man said, sitting behind his desk.

"Appreciated, After this I am planning on continuing with my exploration. I will come and visit from time to time." The child said as he moved towardthe door as he turned it into a portal to the frontrooms.

"Well then, would be glad to see you again. I wish you a great day, my friend." The man said, he sounded pleased, by the idea of meeting him again. From one smart entity to another, there was a great friendship.

The child opened the door as it revealed the frontrooms to the gentleman for the first time. As the child stepped through the door, the glimpse dissappeared as the door closed on its own and removed the connection between level 5 and the frontrooms.

As the child appeared through the door, he was about to get attacked, by some creature, It wasn't an entity, but what was what at this point, his mind was complete chaos only what he has witness remained as an anchor to reality.

As he left the comforts of level 5 that have been provided to him not only by the backrooms, but as a person to talk to in the face of the gentleman. He once again listened in on the ambience of the city, but short duo to that sudden attack, It was a fleshy creature, swinging at him, he could see the horror as he looked its way. Faces of people molding into it, being a part of it. Just as it tried to harm him, perhaps to make him a part of this mess of pure ugliness, He made it's fleshy limbs, pass through him like he didn't even exist. Though, it was a disgusting way to introduce him to the drama, the anticipation, the adrenalin he needed. Though now the adrenalin has become numb, He could feel the pure anticipation coming from the thrill of dodging, or in this case avoiding the attack through his weird ways. "What are you?!" The creature said calmly as it tried to crush him by rolling onto him and consuming, but to no avail. From time to time when he spoke he could feel like his voice is being followed by static, or a glitched sound. He couldn't explain it, because it randomly happened, appearing out of nowhere and disappearing in the same manner.

The kid simply walked out of it, though his eyes had to witness what happened inside of it, He tried to not focus on it too much, because the sight was disgusting. "I can say the same to you... But I don't think I need to know anything..." The kid said as he prepared to send it away, he didn't had enough knowledge over the backrooms, and this limited his options to level 0,1,4,5. But soon after he returns this will change, perhaps he could find a guide. While thinking over his next move, an adult with a strange costume yelled at him, he was amongst a few others. "KID, GET OUT OF THERE!"

"So serious..." The child said as he was attacked once again, failure after failure the rage within the monster grew "WHY WON'T YOU DIE FREAK!?"

The weird cosplay people, didn't do anything as he simply stood there and looked at the monster, he was beginning to have fun over how dumb the monster was, instead of realizing that it can't harm him and that it is better off to leave him alone, it continued to try and harm him.

"Shush now..." The child said as he jumped back away from the monster and made a gesture with his hand pointing down, as he did the creature slowly began to sink into the ground. And during all of this, he simply smiled wide eyes full of amusement. "Finally..." He murmured to himself as he laughed out loud, something psychopathic, Insanity lingered in the sound. But was it really? Insanity is simply another way to see a world, some get tortured by it, others enjoy it.

The adults were in shock, yet fear was creeping in their minds, They didn't know where them onster went, but were sure it was gone, but the fear wasn't from it... But from him.

"Finally..." He gave himself another chuckle as he saw what was so amusing about how people, creatures and entirely life worked. It was beautiful, the motion, the events, the emotions.

"Kid.... Are you... Ok?" One of the adults rushed to him, his voice was shaky... "Why do you fear me?" The child asked as his expression seemed more serious, his words were touching the very soul beneath the persons flesh. Like he read right through him... weakness... The man didn't want to show it. But his voice was what released what was happening inside.

"Me?... No I don't, Are you hurt?" The man said, with his confidence returned. The child clearly took it, ignoring the question about him He spoke up once again "Good..." After this single word, he simply turned around and began walking away like nothing happened. "Wait! What happened to the villain?"

The child finally took the question as he made a gesture with his hand, that it was nothing serious. "Pff." He slightly spat as he made that sound. "Nothing serious!" He said, clearly he had no reason to talk about what happened, the monster was currently boiling in its rage as the buzzing lights of level 0 kept pushing it toward full insanity. "If you are able to do what you did, can you do the opposite?"

The child thought for a second, that was indeed a good question, but why would he pull it out, when it will return even more enraged than before. Perhaps he wanted to laugh in its face to mock it, just so he can get some more of that emotion it had. But no, he wasn't this cruel, or was he?

In response to that curious question, he lifted his shoulders in a way to make himself like he doesn't care, or doesn't know. But right now it was neither.

He simply walked away now with the intentions of ignoring the man if he further questions him, but this proved him one thing there is something interesting outside the backrooms. Or is it all the backrooms? He wondered. With his curiosity satisfied, he knew that he can return to the backrooms, but not yet he wanted to explore a little bit more, maybe spectate another battle if luck is on his side.

Walking around he saw many strange looking symbols, but his mind already knew what they said, Unsure of how he knew it, he didn't question it. Because either way he still could use the language.

Though he could ask where he was, he didn't really need an answer the easy way, where is the fun in that if there is not at least a little bit of challenge. There were people walking by with this language, still he knew what was written, but not what the name of the language is or where he is.

"Wait! Wait!" The man has followed him, the kid didn't know why, but he didn't care much, He decided to stop and listen to him. "What's your name?" The man said seriously, the child's presence made it difficult for him to seem serious, yet somehow managing. "Name? That's irrelevant." The child said, there was the slight intent of mockery, over how stupid the question sounded to him. "What do you mean?" The man said, as if his personality has switched and he forgot what could happen to him if he didn't pick his words right. He turned more serious, he felt annoyed over the child's care free attitude.

The kid read through his words and felt the more hostile attitude. But to the idiotic question had the answer right from where it appeared. Though the question was dumb, he still looked back to where this second conversation begun between them. Perhaps that was all, because he didn't know his name, he didn't have a name anymore, not after the emptiness took him and created a powerful being out of him. But he didn't recall any of the past event, only after that walk, which cleared his mind once again. He forgot about everything as he touched level 0 for the first-second time.

They were standing there silent for a bit, as the people passed them by. "A name..." The child murmured to himself as he put rubbed his chin, he thought to himself, just so he can get the guy off his head. "Yeah, forget it." He simply gave up on thinking of a name as he turned around and walked away, without problem. Like the man didn't even exist, his mind simply turned off as he wandered off leaving the man frozen over how hard it was to communicate with the kid. Looking back at the situation, he didn't understand why would the man ask him to return the monster, which was now infused with the insanity, that he let it boil in.

But for now, it would be good for him to just return to his plane of existence and just look for more knowledge and answers, perhaps he could ask the gentleman on level 5 about some of the things he saw.

And so, as he was walking in the crowds, he intentionally tripped as he fell down through the floor back where he needed to be.

As he stood up, he realized he was in the man's office. "Well, you have returned so soon? I see you have questions for me, some of which you have tried to find the answer yourself. Alright... Ask away." The man said, he was sitting behind his desk as usual.

"Yeah... What were those symbols?" The child ask, that question was kind of stupid, but it was enough for the gentleman to get a hint of what he was saying. "Symbols you say?..." The man said as he leaned on his desk resting his body on his arms. He seemed to ignore the part of the question where the child thought that he could see it also. "Perhaps a language of sort?" The man said not giving the clear answer opening the conversation to new questions to discuss, and answer.

"What language?" The kid asked, still opened to being criticized over the dumb question. "I don't have an answer to that... After all I wasn't present." The man said, as the child realized that he made the mistake this time.

"Sorry...*Sigh* Thank you for the help." The kid said as he put a his thumb and index finger on both side of the upper part of his nose. "Don't be... You are simply curious, that's all... And you are welcome." The man said as with it they closed the conversation.
